"I'll join you going to the Abbey," said Elwin. "That's the best place to start spreading the news of what's happening. The kids still there will interact with the others, while the sisters can also warn the children and the locals. And they'll have the word of Sir Cold to back it, alongside that of Brother Quentin. That should hold some sway with those who care about the politics of the situation as the word travels."
Elwin stopped before speaking further. He had an idea of what to do after the Abbey, but he was still ruminating over it.
"The council is much more afraid of the peasants than of the pirates. The pirates keep the peasants frightened and distracted. The council pays the watch. I think you can work out how matters stand," says Tagec with a shrug. "And if you want to end our mutually profitable alliance, I'm sure I can find more appreciative markets for my services. I've got an eye on a potentially useful replacement for you, Miss Raven Blackblade."

"So you want this unopened shark-skin bag." Raven says with a frown at the goblin. "What we want is to know more about the structure of these Red Sail and pirates, and who is behind them. We want to cut out the heart of this organization here, but don't just want to take out the lackies, which is what I think the pirates and Red Sails are. Can you get us that information?" She glances to Del. "Anything else we need from him, in exchange for this potentially dangerous bag of unknown we would be giving him?"
Seems like a secret that makes it easier to defeat them is something the DM hasn't made up Tagrec doesn't know Del continues But getting a specific item off the flagship is quite an extra task. You are the most slippery thief in Talaveroth, you've got magic and you've got muscle and you've got your bard. "It seems like time is of the essence," said Elwin. He turned to Del and Quentin. "I'll leave you to the council, or wherever you find to head. I'll go back to the Abbey for now; the sooner they know what's going on, the sooner they can spread the word. I also might be able to find out something from talking to the kids there. He suddenly chuckled at a thought, adding with a shake of the head, "Although Sister Almara might try to rope us into rearranging the chapel benches while we're there. Those things are heavier than they look!"
With that, he set out back toward the Abbey.
(( If Mindartis doesn't have a destination he particularly wanted to head to, he's welcome to join Elwin in going to the Abbey. ))

To Raven Lord Quentin canteleportquite far now; I am sure you can get close enough to the flagship - let's find him ....
When we get to confer Del thinks Quentin and Raven should do the shark bag job while Del, Mindartis, FB and the two Sir Es do other tasks. We can meet up again before evening - Q and Del should go to the council hall early enough to catch members beforehand, with Sister Almara's advice about who to approach.
Elwin is going to the Abbey to start the kids doing something - Del asks Q & R Is there something we can do here ashore to help you on the Serpent's Tooth? Otherwise I'll join Sir Elwin at the Abbey until we meet this afternoon - let us say here at the orc-music shop an hour before twilight? We may try another tack if we have time before then as well

As Elwin arrived once more at the Abbey, he was bumped into by a child running down the hall, apparently on an errand. Before the boy could run off after apologizing, Elwin called out to him. "Hey, kid," he said with a friendly smile. "Is Sister Almada, or one of the others, nearby?"
The boy tells Elwin, "Sister Almara's in the temple, finishing up morning prayers. I sneaked out a little early. Don't tell!"
Proceeding to the temple, he sees the familiar sight of the brothers and sisters carrying out their prayers, a few seated rows of worshipers praying with them, as well as a collection of orphans and urchins 'paying' for their breakfast by attending with varying levels of actual interest. The enormous, unidentifiable statue of the Unknown Goddess watches over the ritual, as the Abbess presides over the chanting.
Soon the prayers come to an end, the Abbess retreats, and most of the urchins make their escape. Some of the worshipers and urchins hang back to speak with the clerics, or to ask for blessings. It's not long before Sister Almara is free to speak with Elwin.
