Though a little nervous, Del tries to sound convincing Teleportation is reeeaaaly unlikely, forget I said it. Candyboy goes to the trouble to convince kids to follow, according to Berrybreeze, so he cannot just touch them and disappear. If you loose me, well, you are down just one (albeit your most clever and charming) and you got an inside man when you succeed the next time. And even bound and gagged I won't be helpless. What could go wrong?....I cannot believe I just said that - it's like I never heard a tale of the folly of hubris....Of course something will go wrong he continues We are in an epic tale with ups and downs. But Some Lady or Another be praised, I have high hopes
We can do a couple layers of defense as well - Sister Raven sneaking along and Brother Henry reporting to Lord Quentin
After a short rest for everyone to recover, Del gives up all his gear but one hidden dagger, the spritewhistle, the components for Suggestion (those two up his sleeves) and his raggedyest clothes Lord Midartis, could you carry my things?

Elwin looked at Del through new eyes. The rags he wore were likely from when he was a child; if the bard hadn't managed to escape Slate City, like him, he likely would have wound up dressing like that as a normal state of affairs.
The warlock cleared his throat as he shook such thoughts from his mind. "Good luck, Del," he managed to say as the team approached the Deadwoods.
The rain has stopped, but a light mist fills the dark alleys of the Deadwoods, abandoned or ruined warehouses looming oppressively over them. Bats flitter through the night sky.

Del's schtick is runaway from Slate City, first time in Free City. He'll rub some extra dirt on, use his old accent, move shy and hunched, and act like he's nervous around / not welcome with the regular Free City urchins. He'll pick an area just past the edge of the Pitchpine group, in the direction that kid pointed out where Groff used to sleep. We'll try to find a spot where Raven and Henry can watch from 2 different directions, and Q and the Cavalry can stay a ways off. Ai, mister, e'm ahful 'ungry. Got sumfin' please?
Del expends his inspiration to nail the con (( I'll trust you to re-roll when it makes sense )) and, if he notices someone making a perception/insight check, use Cutting Words to distract and drop by d6. (e.g. you got sharp eyes mister?).
(I can post a little already, while waiting for Elwin and Mindartis)
The night gets off to a shaky start. Henry warns Quentin that some sprites in City Police tabards are patrolling the Deadwoods, flying overhead. There is also a giant owl who seems to be searching locally. Raven notices them as well, but is confident in her concealment. Quentin suddenly realizes that his hiding place is useless for evading airborne patrols.
((Del might prefer to use his inspiration to reroll his perception and be aware of the danger so he can roll for stealth to hide from the patrols.))
((Quentin'sstealth roll for the first hour was terrible. I see he still has his inspiration point if he wants to re-roll it, otherwise the police are sure to see him.))
