The swamp around the party begins to bubble, with small air pockets escaping the brackish waters.
Gruun tries to quickly move to the firmest ground/shallowest mud he can find close by. He keeps his head lowered but tries to keep the bubbles viewable from the corner of his eyes.

OOC: There has been time to dismount if anyone wishes, otherwise I'm assuming that everyone is on their mount except for Hox.
Hox takes flight, perching in the boughs of a low tree nearby as the swamp continues to roil. Some of the bubbles pop as they crest the surface of the brackish water, but most roll along the surface, coalescing and becoming larger, until one solitary bubble remains.
The bubble seemingly fills with the swamp, taking on more substance until it becomes a gargantuan twenty-foot-tall dome of swamp, stretching, gurgling and shifting as its pseudopods lash out toward the party.
Gruun will bellow his Challenge to Ooze(Bonus Action: Rage) to draw it's attention. He will try to keep some distance from the slime and use the Halberd with his 15ft reach.

OOC: Gruun isn't on a horse either. I opted to just be as fast as one.

Keeping her distance on her horse if she can (out of melee range, though she does have her shield equipped), Killian will speak dark words and gesture with a clawed hand at the ooze, while averting her eyes.
Move: only to stay out of melee range (but within 60'). If already in melee range, she will not back away so as to not incur an AoO. She's already at disadvantage for not looking, so disadvantage for short range doesn't stack! Action: cast Chill Touch at the ooze while averting her gaze for Disadvantage. 19 to hit, for 20 necrotic damage and it can't regain hp until the start of Killian's next round.
Possible Reaction: If Killian is hurt by the ooze, she will use her Reaction to cast Hellish Rebuke using a 4th level slot for 22 fire damage, or half on a Dex Save vs DC 16.

Gruun's heavy slashes do nothing to the great ooze, cleaving through its form with ease, but where his halberd passes through it simply repairs itself as if nothing struck it. Attacks from the others are more effective; Aradurk and Hox's arrows slide into the ooze's form, causing it to wriggle like gelatin in those areas, and Killian creates a skeletal hand that clings to its perimeter, slowly dissipating the swampy material. Meanwhile, Tanakir bolsters all five of his companions with divine energy. (OOC: Don't forget to add your d4s next turn)

Two arm-like projections swirl out from the ooze, slamming into Aradurk and Killian forcefully.
