While Rycider begins her climb up the side of the structure, making it look much simpler than it should be, Killian focuses through the fog at the main entrance. She detects movement within the large gateway; the forms she sees are shadowy and moving slowly. There is not a rhythm to their movements, and they don't seem to be growing any closer.
Gruun will stay with the main group of the party until a path is determined. "The last trap I fell into had me a few breaths away from that fate, Killian. I will not do so again."
Hox finds the path to be clear, landing on a balcony at least 150 feet off of the ground a moment before Rycider finishes her climb. There is an old wooden door on the side of the structure here, next to a weathered stain glass window that has been almost entirely discolored with age.
The others remain near the entrance with Gruun and Killian.
OOC: Ready to advance once the next action is determined. At the moment Hox and Rycider are standing near the top of the stronghold, while Gruun, Killian, Aradurk and Tanakir are on the ground near its main entrance.
Rycider sees only the rest of the party on the ground. Nothing is moving outside of the gates, or among the sea of skewered corpses that fill the surrounding landscape.
Hox opens the door to a circular balcony that overlooks a large room. At one time, it might have been a ballroom, but passage of time has made it unrecognizable. It is dark and dusty, and there is no sign of a presence within.
OOC: Assuming that Aradurk and Gruun are following Killian and Tanakir, just to keep us moving.
HOX & RYCIDER:
Rycider reaches the door, where Hox moves into the circular overlook to the room below. There does not appear to be an easy way down to the floor 30 feet below; unlike the outer walls, the inside of the stronghold is not as weathered, and the walls are smooth. Nothing reacts to Hox moving further in, and there still seems to be no sign of another presence.
Some sort of hall runs out of the room at ground level, but you cannot see any further into it from so high above the floor.

ARADURK, GRUUN, KILLIAN & TANAKIR:
Stepping through the mist and into the gates reveals that the shuffling forms are practically lifeless; dead eyed humanoids, some performing unknown tasks and others moving back and forth seemingly endlessly. They pay you no mind, despite the fact that they look very much like you. They could be twins or doppelgangers - difficult to tell with their varying states of decay.
Fifty feet ahead in the foyer, a long set of stairs leads to ornate double doors that are currently closed.
With a glance at the others, and a barely perceptible shrug, Killian will advance to the large doors, climbing the stairs and giving them a push. (Or a pull)

Hox unfurls his wings and starts to fly, "Hox not need to." He'll head on ahead of Rycider and check if anything would block her.

Aradurk is light on his feet in case anything moves, arrow notched, bow in hand, watching his mates explore.
