For buffs, Jown will cast Aid on himself, Sorumar and Amithile. Both their current and maximum HP increases by 20 for the next 8 hours. He will cast Death Ward on Maximar and Six Coins (Casting twice). Finally he will cast Bless on Sorumar, Amathile and Qatyra at the last possible second so that Bless can be on for the longest time in combat. (So that would be as Maximar starts challenging the monster. I assume it would be 1 or 2 turns in to the spell when the monster shows up but let me know the actual number).
Another thing Jown will do depends on how potions work. If potions of Fire resistance, Cold resistance, lightning resistance etc. Can be stacked, he will drink one of each to effectively become resistant to all forms of damage for one hour. If they don't stack then he will instead drink the potion of Invulnerability right after casting Bless to gain resistance against all damage. In this scenario I'm thinking bless would be 3 turns in and invulnerability would be 2 turns in when combat starts.

You can try drinking multiple potions, but I will be using the rules for mixing potions if you do so. Let me know what you decide there.
Raist is not interested in any of the magic items as he just has no use for them.
Then he will use his Arcane Recovery ability to regain 2 3rd level slots. I will also use my ability of "Vigilant Blessing" to give my advantage on my next Initiative roll. Then right before we set this off Raist will use his "Eyes of the Night" ability and give everyone who needs it Darkvision for 10 minutes (this also has no maximum range). And as always I can cast Mirror Image at will, so will have that up constantly.
I'm not familiar with the mixing potions rule so I'll play it safe and just drink the Invulnerability potion.
Here you go:
Potion Miscibility
d100 Result 01 The mixture creates a magical explosion, dealing 6d10 force damage to the mixer and 1d10 force damage to each creature within 5 feet of the mixer. 02–08 The mixture becomes an ingested poison of the DM’s choice. 09–15 Both potions lose their effects. 16–25 One potion loses its effect. 26–35 Both potions work, but with their numerical effects and durations halved. A potion has no effect if it can’t be halved in this way. 36–90 Both potions work normally. 91–99 The numerical effects and duration of one potion are doubled. If neither potion has anything to double in this way, they work normally. 00 Only one potion works, but its effect is permanent. Choose the simplest effect to make permanent, or the one that seems the most fun. For example, a potion of healing might increase the drinker’s hit point maximum by 4, or oil of etherealness might permanently trap the user in the Ethereal Plane. At your discretion, an appropriate spell, such as dispel magic or remove curse, might end this lasting effect.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sorumar will take the short rest to heal a little and restore a few abilities, he will also drink a potion of cold resistance, "I have another potion of cold resistance as well as 2 each of fire and necrotic resistance and a pair of potions of growth if anyone would like them?"
Gandolph will use his arcane recovery to recover the 4th and 5th level slots that had been used. Fred will use a wish spell to turn into a ancient gold dragon using true polymorph obviously outside the cabin. He will help Gilra mold barriers outside before Gilra loses his shape. After 1 hour the spell is no longer concentration and Fred keeps the shape until hit points are gone or until dispelled. Just before the encounter Gandolph will cast armor of agathys on himself using an 8th level spell slot and he will then cast blink on himself.

Wish can only do 8th-level spells or lower. It can not do a 9th-level spell, sorry.

Doh, I knew that. Not sure what I was thinking. Looking at true polymorph there is not reason not to just cast it instead of using a wish spell. I'm not sure what I was thinking.
Jown, the potion from the shed you took is an epic-level potion. You would know it has some of the same aspects of the invulnerability spell, but it is not something you would know what the exact affect of taking it would be. Maximar though would tell you it will create a perfect cube of adamantine, 2 inches thick. The size of the cube is ten by ten by ten. It would surround the drinker.
Everyone else, please tell me anything you want to be doing as Maximar and Hunter walk out to call out the beast. Positioning, etc. Any last-minute spells can be cast as Maximar goes out of the cabin.
I will plan on starting this encounter on Monday, so you have the rest of this weekend to get things set up how you want it.
Right before heading out, Sorumar will coat his spear and javelins with purple worm poison and ready his javelins for battle first. (Almost forgot I had them)
I'm kind of confused about the potion. So it's not a regular Potion of Invulnerability, it's a different potion that will create a 10 ft x 10ft (x 10ft) adamantine cube around him? Will he be trapped in it then?
Qatyra will summon Hyron her unicorn companion.
(Would we have time to change attunement?)

You have as much or as little time as you guys wish here.

If we are getting a short rest then I would also like to spend hit die to top up my HP.

Qatyra will take the equalizer and split the arrows of sling with six coins (unless you want all of them.)

@DM Thanks. I'll still play it safe this time but I might risk it the next time. Especially since something bad happening is: 15%
Sorumar will take the short rest to heal a little and restore a few abilities, he will also drink a potion of cold resistance, "I have another potion of cold resistance as well as 2 each of fire and necrotic resistance and a pair of potions of growth if anyone would like them?"
Hit dice healing: 59

Vaden will cast sanctuary on Maximar just prior to him going outside.

@DD did Qatyra get the equalizer or no? Want to manage attunement.
