The frost giant carries sack. Inside the sack is a coin purse containing 700 gold pieces. Also in the sack, Lyngheid and Nyx each roll a d100, please.
Ireniana, the goblinoids don't have any treasure, but you find lots of smooth stones, jerky of unknown origin, and several humanoid fingers. On the large hobgoblin, you find a whetstone, and an Amethyst worth 50 gold.
Umbriel, roll a d100 as well, please.
The party takes a short rest, and then continues on, with The Weevil in the cart. When he wakes up he glares at everyone, but doesn't say anything.
You make camp for the night without further issue.
During the short rests, the travel and around the campfire, Harshnag relates the following:
The Ordning, which is the form of governance that all giant kind follow has been broken. Storm Giants no longer have the power to keep the smaller giants in check. King Hekaton, the leader of the Storm Giants has gone missing. Harshnag has been trying to protect the North from evil giants and heard of your group so he was looking for you, and coincidentally tracking down Kaltivar the Frost Giant that attacked you trying to get The Weevil.
Harshnag knows that some giants are looking for Adamantine, he has killed one Fire Giant with a Rod of the Vodindod, and is surprised that Umbriel has one as well. He doesn't know why they have these and suggests that it is time to consult with a higher authority.
He asks: "I know the location of a mountain temple built by my ancient ancestors under The Spine of the World. It is the Eye of the All-Father. It contains a divine oracle. I'll lead you to the temple and we can consult with the oracle to learn how best to end the giants' threat to the North. I think it will only be a week or so from Mirabar. Maybe less. Will you join me?"
After Harshnag tells his story, Umbriel ponders for a long while. "Once we turn in the Weevil, I think we should follow Harshnag to his temple - if we want to figure out what's happening and what we can do about it, this seems like our best option."
"I think that sounds like a plan. Hand Weevil over and follow Harshnag to this temple. I don't think we have much alternative at this point. If Harshnag knows who we are, then I am sure the other giants who are in rebellion against storm giant rule probably know as well. This is something we are going to need to see through. For the North and all that"she adds as she flips a gold coin through her knuckles.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nyx, in the frost giant's Giant Bag, you find a pretty necklace, it's a gold chain with 6 beautiful orange red beads hanging on it. The whole thing looks to be in remarkable shape compared to the other items in the bag.
Lyngheid in the giant's bag, you find a Dented metal helm with bits of food in it. It looks like it was used as a bowl. There's also a Giant-sized pair of old sandals, and an empty wooden chest that is unlocked, an iron cooking pot and a stuffed teddy bear.
Umbriel hidden on the hobgoblin mage is a small bottle with a stopper and some liquid inside, you recognize it as a Potion of healing.
Harshnag nods in response to Nyx's response to Ireniana. "The beautiful lady is right, he wanted the 5,000 reward, I'm sure. You adventurers killed him, you take the loot. That's how we've always done it."
"Unless there are any objections, I'll give this healing draught to Droop, since he's the fastest to revive us if we fall. Also, I'm disposed towards giving Harshnag a share of the 5000 gold reward - after all, without him, we wouldn't be able to collect it."
He gladly takes his 100 gold share of the loot, mumbling something about "...need to buy another horse..." and continues along, occasionally checking for adamantine chunks with the rod.
Baeshra gives Nyx a critical look, "You look the same to me, soft. Is the necklace magic that you thought it should change your appearance?"
(Just as an update for people, the current party fund as far as I've recorded, let me know if I've missed something. party fund 2 platinum 109 gold 2 electrum 15 silver 10 copper three peridots (15 gp each) one pearl (100 gp). ruby pendant 1000gp)
(Also, @DM, what's the cost of the various rarities of magic tattoos again? After we collect, Baeshra might want to do some shopping again.)

The night passes uneventfully, everyone completes a Long Rest.
The next day brings you to within sight of Mirabar. It sits atop a knoll on the norh side of the Mirar River, enclosed on all sides by sloped outer walls and you can see defenders on the walls keeping a lookout. Traffic goes in and out of both gates, the city seems quite busy.
Lyngheid, you know that Mirabar is made up of two cities, the surface city that you all can see and an underground city, populated by lots of dwarves containing forges and foundries and tunnels leading to the mines.
Harshnag tells you all to go on without him. He'll stay in the woods next to the city and arranges a meeting time for tomorrow (or the next day, depending on how long you want to spend in Mirabar).
You get into town just before dinner, what does everyone want to do?

Umbriel, Harshnag answers your question. I'll post the details about all he has said tonight.
Lyngheid will search the dead giant and give any shiny stuff to Whistler.
Baeshra will help search the other remaining bodies before taking a short rest.

After Harshnag tells his story, Umbriel ponders for a long while. "Once we turn in the Weevil, I think we should follow Harshnag to his temple - if we want to figure out what's happening and what we can do about it, this seems like our best option."
Ireniana nods and turns to Harshnag. "We have to turn him in first if you don't mind. I'd love to see this temple."
She eyes The Weevil for a moment before glancing at Harshnag and the others. "Why would this Kaltivar want The Weevil? Is it just for the money?"

Nyx's eye pop at the sight of the beautiful necklace.
"By Tymora, oh Lady Luck bestows her kisses on me."
Without hesitation she slides the necklace on and turns to the others.
"Does this not just look ravishing on me? How the orange matches my eyes. You watch me charm the next mayor we run across.
I am sure we could give Harshnag a part of the share if that is what he's after Umbriel."
