Upon the group's return from the dig, Umbriel will close his eyes and breathe deeply, and when he opens them again his eyes are pitch black, but with a starry overlay. He looks carefully at the bolts and the coin, having just cast Detect Magic.
Nyx watches Umbriel as he inspects the find, making little flower patterns on the cavern floor out of pebbles.
"So... I assume even though we have killed our, well I would not call him a nemesis seeing we seem to have issues with a giant behind all this, but killed this Black Spider, are we going to explore the rest of the mine? From what I can tell we have skirted around the eastern side of it. If we go past those double doors back in the spiders nest, well I bet there is a lot more nasties in this mine still. If the dwarves came back to claim it now a lot more of them would die."

Lyngheid looks pensive, " Should I send Nundro out to Gudren? Or tell him to wait here while we clear the rest? It should be a safe run out to my cousin now shouldn't it."
Baeshra looks a little more rested, but hesitates at the idea of finishing clearing the area, "We shouldn't leave until its cleared completely. But I don't think we should send Nudro out alone, or leave him alone either. Perhaps have him stay with the group while we slowly clear the rest of this place? And we still need to figure out a way to deal with that skull thingy."
"I agree with Baeshra, it's not safe to go alone, and all I could offer him would be a dagger. It seemed as though the skull was guarding that one area, so if we clear the rest of the mine out, we should be able to avoid it if we're careful. Once we know that's the last threat we have to deal with, we can come back and figure it out. As to our friend here, if there's nothing pressing we want to ask him, then I propose we put his body where your cousin was being held, and then move on."
You open the double doors and see a hallway going to the east for about 40 feet. Then two sets of stairs, one to the south, and one continuing to the east.
About 30 feet down the hallway, you feel the low rumble of water, as if the stream that pours into the rift runs below the hallway.
You can see that the eastern stairs go down to the area above the rift.
"Well then, I'll take those crossbow bolts if you don't mind and let's keep up exploring."

Poking your head down the stairs leading to the south you see another hallway. And about 30 feet down it looks like a hallway goes to the east and to the west, as well as continuing to the south.
If the party goes down the southern stairs, everyone make a stealth check. Unless you don't want to be stealthy.
