Kindra grins. "Honestly, yeah. A lot more to do, and I love it. Though, I'm not sure I could before I delivered the work I was supposed to deliver, or before I told my buddies and the guildmaster back home what I was doing. They’re probably worried sick about me. Though, as long as I'm here in Oakhurst for the time being, I'd love to keep helping."
Doc nods to the barkeep, "[Statement] That is indeed a long time for them to have been gone, perhaps we can discern what has happened to them when we go investigate."
Doc will try and figure out why the man might have stopped talking so suddenly and if there is possibly any untruths to his words.
"Thank you for the generous offer. I'll probably head to the tavern to meet with my other traveling companions for a bit and have dinner with them, but I do enjoy the thought of a room here." Kindra shakes his hand and turns to leave, then turns back. "I almost forgot; you asked us why we came here. We were travelling to the citadel nearby, as it was believed to be the cause of a massive rainstorm in Secomber that wouldn't stop. Something happened on the journey here, and I confess that I was knocked unconscious for most of it. I woke up and the rain was gone."
Thanking Rurik once more, she sets off for the inn to meet with everyone else.
Brimming with the confidence of a Knight who had just defeated evil after water-skiing on dry land behind a crashing cart, Baymen proudly declares with a smile as large as his chest.
"I, am Sir Baymen Bronel, Kinght of the Emerald Order. I would only ask that you grow a plant in your lifetime. To Give back to that which gave to me, so that I could give to you."
His perfect posture maintained, Baymen closes his eyes and breathes deeply.
Nature has been good to him, and that is why he's so good natured.
Kindra wipes the sweat off her brow as she uses prestidigitation to rid herself of ash from the forge. She sits herself down with the party and says to them:
"I've landed myself a pretty good job at the local forge. Rurik says we can use some of the equipment he has." She tells them about the armor and weapons that were made available to them, as well as where to find someone to help with bows as Fargoth requested.
"By the way, Rurik mentioned that the planting season here just started. I know for a fact that it should be harvest season nowadays. The weather changed when we got here too; I have a feeling that it isn't that Rurik is lying to me (I hope not, I like the guy and the work he gives me is definitely more exciting than back in Waterdeep), but that the climate is altered thanks to the citadel."
Doc had been standing nearby the table when Kindra was talking about Rurik. When she mentions the citadel he waits for her to finish and then tells of his findings as well.
"[Statement] This one has spent a good portion of the day speaking to Garon the barkeep. [Statement] Garon has told this one that there was a party of adventurers that gathered up to go investigate The Sunless Citadel about a month ago. [Statement] They have not been heard from since and seem to have gone missing."
Fargoth looks slightly unnerved at the thought of people going missing after heading out to the citadel. "Perhaps we should take your smith up on his offer - some better armour might be useful." He nods in thanks as Kindra mentions the scouts. "Might be worth talking to them tomorrow, always useful to know the lie of the land before you go somewhere."
Doc will offer to help tidy up as is his way, and then he will go stand in one of the corners of the common room and go into his sentry rest for the night.
Baymen will go check on his Brew in his room, then go to sleep. Its been a long day, and ending it with giving that Farmer Girl a coin was a great bonus. He rests with a smile on his face.
Kindra wakes up from the side room of the forge and heads to the inn to meet her friends for breakfast. She sends Ashlar off in the direction of the Sunless Citadel, telling him to find as much about the layout and defenses as possible and report back to her telepathically every few hours.
"Who wants to come to the forge? Rurik has some stuff that I've gotten us access to."
She catches Fargoth at an inopportune moment, as he quickly gulps down his mouthful of porridge to try and answer promptly, causing a coughing fit and a loud clearing of his throat. "Mmm! Yes, please, can you wait for a few minutes, I'd rather not choke on my porridge again."
The elf, finishes quickly and slips his apple in a pocket for later, then joins Kindra for the short walk to the forge.
Roland is going to walk downstairs and eats his porridge and his apple. "Not the worst I've eaten, but not that good. I probably won't need anything, but I'll come check out the forge."

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Doc was up early and bright, offering his help for anything that might have needed setting up in the Inn this morning. He found that he liked the proprietors of the place, and when he liked someone, he always offered to help. When Kindra speaks up about the forge, his interest is piqued. "[Statement] This one will accompany you to the forge if you would like Kindra."

OOC: Roland is asleep, probably dreaming of his past life or beer.

Kindra heads to bed as well. Her last thought before falling asleep: "I'm never gonna deliver that sword, am I?"
