And with that, the town is clear. Only the poor unconscious villagers remain! They are easily awoken and are very nervous about a Talosian cult nearby. The damage to the town was minimal, and only a few of the settlers were killed, most of the them brave Neverwinter soldiers who gave their lives to protect the fishers caught in their boats during the attack. Now that the threats are removed, you all can inform the settlers that it is safe to return to Leilon. The settlers return to their work: construction, farming, fishing, and otherwise building their new home.
You spend the coming days helping rebuild the town, getting to know each other better, and getting your hands dirty with good ole fashion work.
Gareth-Wyn organizes rubble-clearing groups from some of the larger, hardier folk, then later borrows an enormous lumber axe to fell sturdy oaks to replace the foundations of a few of the burned homes. He swiftly becomes affectionately known as "Big Feller" to the townsfolk, and finds that he has a few mutual friends among the survivors of the Neverwinter Guard. He honors the fallen in the way of the Guard, with a silent vigil as evening falls upon the fresh tombs.
After the town has regained it's feet, he gathers those of the party who wish to join him to ask about cult of Talos and their local influence, where they might be hiding, and what their presumed goals might be.
Lanarial chooses to join the night watches, sometimes paroling the streets, sometimes ranging the surrounding woods. His stealthy nature and improved darkvision make the night his preferred operating environment. He forms a bond with a select group of people who prefer stealth and surprise, who don't mind getting their hands, and blades, a little bloody when needed. They talk of a specialized unit in Neverwinter known as the King's Adders - a group of rangers, scouts, hunters and assassins who operate in secrecy and no public recognition. Although it is not a formally recognized group, and the government flat-out refuses its existence, Everyone 'knew' what it was and what they did...
