Arrin cracks his neck, "Finally. I've been needing to hit something for days." He then looks at the man and asks, "If we find your mens bodies do you want them back?"
Before retiring, Cinta approached Arrin with still a little trepidation, " You are looking pretty tense...did you want a foot rub? Or I could walk on your back?"
Arrin replied with a simple no before retiring to bed. Upon finding everything the next day he smiles and says, "Let's get going. And I'll take lead in the caves. Don't need one of you to be bitten and go down to a spider."
The party begins their travel to the mines, with Arrin taking the lead. You all leave through Deastok’s eastern gate like you had two days prior. I need two of you to make perception checks or one of you to roll with advantage. You can decide in the OOC which of you should take point on this.
The party continues forward, watching out for any dangers that might appear nearby. As they move, nobody sees any threat. You hear a sudden screech as surface dirt blows up around you. 5 creatures leap and reach out for each of you.
You all hear the screech before five large insectoid monsters jump out at you, with each one engaging a different target. It almost resembles a hunting tactic. You see that these creatures are large, about 10ft long. They have two small black, beady eyes on the front of their heads, as well two bigger black eyes on the sides of their heads. They have these lengthy mandibles that are maybe 1 foot long on their own, and they are apparently bloody. The back end of the head has like 3 different, distinct points, with downward curves between each point. You see these spikes all over their shells, but they’re more like the size of thorns, so not big at all.
The creatures are standing on 4 legs: two holding up the “butt” of the creature and two on the sides of the front part. There are two scythe-like claws on the end of its arms, and they look strong enough to rip prey apart. When you look over them, they appear somewhat wounded, as if they’re recovering from an ordeal. The battle begins. Here is the map.

Orin is ready to go, his bird flying high in the sky above them, looking for trouble on the road ahead.
Zoya lets Cornelius join Amaya in the sky. "Stay close," she tells him before he leaves.
" It is best that Arrin is the one to get bitten, his large size will spread the poison out more, lessening its effect.", Cinta said happily.
Alright, you set out for the platinum mines. What’s the marching order here?
OOC: Cinta after Arrin.
Zoya as second to last.
OOC: I could only prepare my spells now - if I don't have Find Familiar today I won't have Cornelius with me anymore, right?
I‘ll be in the middle.
So I’ve got, from front to back, Arrin-Cinta-Orin-Zoya-Leon. Is that good with everyone?
👍
Seeing the big warrior taking the lead, Leon shrugs and moves to the back, taking up rear guard position.
Yes
Great.

Cintas eyes were roaming about as they walked taking in everything they could.
Perception: 8
So even with Cinta, nobody notices anything.

Everyone roll for initiative.
Initiative: 17
Initiative: 2
Leon initiative: 11
I suppose I can roll for Orin and Zoya to keep things moving. I don’t believe anyone has any initiative-affecting features or spells.
Orin: 2
Zoya: 17

May I have Leon’s action?
