Daemyar moves methodically, workmanlike even. He plunges his blade deep into his chest and ending M3’s time in this existence. Krom, Lorell - you’re up.
@Lorell - the wolf nuzzles your hand as your healing knits some of its injuries back together.
@Krom - as you approach the tent, you hear some moaning and the clink of chains. Lifting back the flap, you see what looks to be a kobold lying on a table It has been horribly tortured and maimed, and - you think - partially devoured. The kobold is breathing rapidly and shallow and sports some arcane tattoos on whatever is left of its flesh. You see a few other things in the tent: some pieces of art, some bolts of silk, some ale kegs, there is also a couple of strongboxes (chests), and a few sacks.
Ithelion takes in the scene of the recent carnage and promptly vomits. She wipes her mouth on her sleeve and tries to calm her mind. Seeing the rock -- perhaps the only blood-free surface nearby -- she sits on it and closes her eyes, but instantly remembers the sleeping lizard.
Taking a deep breath, she says to Daemyar, "There's one more lizard in the mist...asleep...can you...?"
She pays a little attention to Krom's investigations, or anything else, focused as she is on trying to restore at least some normality to her world. She takes her waterskin out, wipes her mouth on her sleeve again, then washes her hands. Finally, she takes a small drink of water, and starts to remove the worst of the blood, gore and vomit from her clothes.
When she is done, she stands and takes in the situation. Remembering Elosa, she guiltily check to see how she is, and alows her to feed cautiously away from any of the larger animals. Then she draws her sword and checks the lizard is dead, and finally checks what Krom has discovered.
Garnet stood near the he lizard that lay dead, looking around to find the others of her group. Krom and Ithelion had both disappeared into the tent, Lorell was attending the wolf and she could see Daemyar, she was just not certain what he was doing. Reaching up to the spot where the arrow had pierced her armor she grabbed the shank and pulled with a grunt. Re adjusting her armor to cover the gap as much as possible. It wasn't a life threatening wound, and she could afford to wait to attend to it.
Looking back to where Ithelion and Krom had entered the tent, Garnet wanted to see if anyone else was injured before she used the healing skill on herself. Tossing the arrow aside she followed headed to the tent. Keeping an eye out as she went for anything important.
@garnet - inside the tent you see what both Ithelion and Krom see: a half dead kobold on a torture table, breathing shallowly and sort of mumbling to himself. You see some of the items you suspect are from the cart and perhaps other things.
If you all want to look around the camp a bit feel free to roll investigation for whatever quarter/part of the camp you want; or, if you want to do something else/roll for something else, go for it.
Ithelion will assist whoever has decent medical ability to assess/help the Kobold (( guessing Krom, advantage for them)), then investigate the other items in the tent: the crates etc ((hopefully with help from them, or someone else...Elosa? ))
Investigation of stuff in tent: 21 ((advantage assumed))
Krom, with your advanced understanding of the body and the various infections and trauma it can withstand, you recognize the telltale signs of sepsis. The poison from the bites, you presume, have created an advanced reaction. Clearly, from the marks on this kobold's body, it has been snacked on whilst alive and being tortured. You can tell this kobold's injuries are so grievous that they are beyond your current capabilities. You also know that this kobold is very close to death but could be stabilized enough to speak - possibly - though how much sense it would make it its current delerium is questionable. One set of markings on the kobold resemble to large symbol you all say in the middle of the camp, while the others are older and resemble tattoos of vines, flowers, and symmetrical designs.
Ithelion notes the designs, the small bones and twigs that serve as the kobold's adornments - you would guess this to be some sort of druid or shaman: a being connected to nature in some way. In its hand it holds a piece of paper, blood stained, and crumpled. The kobold is whispering something over and over again in a guttural sounding language. Ithelion hears it right away and translates it for you: "Ashardalon, Meepo, the red fruit. Ashardalon, Meepo, the red fruit..."
Ithelion, you see a couple of quivers of fine crossbow bolts, some stacks of silk and other fabrics, 3 strongboxes, and some piles of clothing. There are also some pieces of artwork leaning on the side of the tent wall.
Garnet, you don't notice anything out of the ordinary as you look around the tent.
Lorell, you continue to stay with the wolf in the southern part of the clearing. The wolf remains charmed.
Daemyar, you easily dispatch the lizard. (please update your character sheet).
Those of you still in the clearing look around: there is the tent to the north and center; to the right of that is a crevice in the earth and also a hole nearby; a little ways south hangs two bodies from the twisted limbs of an oak tree. And as mentioned there seems to be a couple of paths leading north. The cauldron still bubbles, the movement of the liquid inside jerking the skeleton to and fro. The smell in all of this is nearly overpowering: blood, rot, decay. It reminds you of some perverted abbatoir.
Ithelion relays what she has learned to Krom -- the translation, that the Kobold is a druid or shaman, what she sees in the room and says "Probably stolen from others they have waylaid."
Turning to Krom, and avoiding looking at the mangled Kobold body she asks "Can you save him? Perhaps his people could nurse him back to health."
Unfortunately nothing comes to you about that....but by the way the kobold is dressed and some of the trinkets you see, you recall seeing similar things on the kobolds you saw earlier. It would be reasonable to assume this kobold comes from there. After you lend Krom your assistance, your investigation also reveals some crude implements scattered around, small bones and spell components. Also herbs and mortar and pestle and other items all in a pouch. (Herbalist Kit).
Krom looks over to Ithelion and Garnet, "Ney lass, this one is beyond anything we or its clan can do. Ye would need a high priest or equivalent to save this one. Any of ye want to talk to this one fer I put it out of its misery?"
(( No worries...I seem to be good at ambiguous! ))
Seeing the mongrelman break cover to fire at Garnet, Ithelion returns fire, relieve to be able to give her arm a rest.
Attack: 8 Damage: 7
Ithelion shoots late, her arrow embedding in the tree where the mongrelman's head would have been.
Daemyar rushes to M3 to put him out of our misery.
Attack: 25 Damage: 10
(not sure if sneak attack. Add 1 if so)

@daemyar - How do you want to do this? (he had 10 HP left).

Just gonna stab him through the chest and move on to the next. Daemyar loves winning fights, especially when his enemy is caught in a week position

Lorell will walk over to the wolf, place his hand on it and cast healing touch (at level 1) for 4.
Krom is going to let the sleeping lizard lie and check out the tent holding his warhammer at the ready in case there is another enemy inside.
Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
