Alyssa would look back to Ramious. He had been showing concern, which she did appreciate, especially in contrast to the growling and ignoring before. "Because I don't feel myself Rami." She'd admit as simply as she could. "I doomed myself prior to even stumbling down here... Although I've since attempted to recover, the stacking curses weigh heavy." The elf would flex her hands, feeling the gentle aches that hinder her. She'd hit the full reset button if she could, but the shadows in this place already have a hold that she has yet to be able to break free from.
Bernard graciously accepts the potion. He drinks it down in one go and waits, and waits. He frown, then rushes to a corner and begins coughing and then vomits black goo in the corner. He quickly washes his mouth out and spits it out there too.
He move back over by the others and casts cure wounds upon himself. 10
"I'll be okay." Alyssa would repeat once more and offer an assured smile to the tiefling. "Thank you Rami." She'd say softly. Again, appreciating his concern and his check in.
The elf couldn't help but glide over to check on Bernard after he's vomited. "Do you feel better?" She'd use her magic to help clean it up so that they weren't caught with the smell of Bug's last meal.
"Actually, yes... I think that potion pulled the poison into an area where I could then expell it. Not the most pleasant thing but I should be good to go now." He takes a few breath and nods.
"Sorry about that everyone," he says to the group. "Is there anything I can do to help? Individually or with the group?"
As any good soldier, Leon could sleep where and whenever it worked. Despite this he had strange dreams and an uneasy sleep. When he woke he got to his feet and nodded to the others. "Which way do we head now?" He asks as he does some stretches to loosen up his joints.
Alyssa would nod to Bernard. glad he was feeling okay. And it was good to see Leon up and about as well. He had mentioned the double doors? She'd look to Ramious and tilt her head slightly, truly wondering if he was just ignoring the truth, or truly didn't know. "I suppose they're only curses if you see their consequences negatively." She'd wink.
Bernard only heard part of Alyssa's talk about curses. From the tone of the discussion, she didn't sound like she wanted to become forthcoming on the details. "I don't know much about curses, but maybe down here we'll come across a frog. If I recall there was some story or lore I heard about frogs and breaking curses."

Ramious sighs heavily, scratches his head, then turns and walks towards the western door, pushing the stuffed animals away and pulling them open. He looks down the hallway without crossing the threshold. He glances carefully at the hallway with much suspicion as he glances back at the rest of the group. "Well. You guys stay here and .... if I don't make it... make sure you save the axe. It's a pretty awesome axe." He pulls out a javelin and hurls it down the hallway to slam into the door. Assuming nothing explodes or nothing weird happens, he'll proceed down the hall, looking around for traps or other nefarious things trying to murder him.
"Not going to happen that way." Leon says to Ramious. "Splitting up has never done us good up to this point." He moves along with Ramious as the Tiefling moves intot he hall, maybe a few feet behind, around ten feet behind to be exact, but staying with Ramious.
The doors did not react to the javelin, that safely (though, with a lot of noise) dropped to the floor after it left the mark on the bronze. But Ramious noticed something - near the midpoint of this corridor, between the two carved lines of warriors is a 10-foot-square plate, looking or feeling ... suspicious - hard to tell, it's a tiny bit higher than the rest.
He stops and crouches down. He grabs a bit of sand off the floor and rubs it in his hand before letting it sift to the floor. He looks back at Leon who is just behind him. “Trap. Middle of the floor there.” He summons a mage hand and tries to press down on the floor with it.

"Trapped with a pressure plate? How about we tie a rope to a pack, toss the pack onto it to spring the trap and see what it does. We can use the rope to pull it back from harms way." Bernard says.
"Sure, but mine has most of the treasure," he says back. Then takes some time to secure the straps tight so nothing Flys out when its tossed and then ties the rope. Directing everyone a ways away he has the bag over to Ramious to toss.
The bag dropped heavily on the plate, making a muffled metallic sound from all the coins packed in it. The moment full weight was applied to the suspicious patch of the floor, two of the carved warriors pivoted out from the walls in front of the treasure sac, crossing their metal halberds to bar the way to the bronze doors. The blades spark and hum when they are brought together. The warriors do not attack but there is barely enough room for a humanoid to crawl under the crossed polearms and between the statues and no other way to get to the doors.

Ramious nods to Alyssa...."What curses? I haven't been cursed at all or anything..." (he holds onto the axe tightly in one hand)

The hand presses - obviously - but was not able to even the plate with the others.

"I say we pull the weight off the plate and see if it resets." Leon suggests.
Bernard does just that and pulls the pack back. "Glad we tested it."
Yet another stone warriors did not disappear. But still did not attack the bag either that could be a good sign?
