Our DM isn’t making it easy for. No AOE spells with the enemies spread all over the map, I can’t attack more than one enemy at a time, and lots of difficult terrain. We his is gonna take some time

Clearly, the intention is to get us to avoid combat entirely by successfully persuading the froggies to sit down for a nice cup of tej. I foresee us finishing this in two rounds, tops. No sweat.
Hey! This is actually not as bad as it could be. This random encounter was written as a surprise in the book. I chose to omit that part for encounter one...
Attack: 21 Damage: 6
Eku yells out in surprise, "To arms! Be wary of their-" She ducks a flying spear "-skin!" before falling back to a safer distance away from the water. //N24\\ She lets loose an arrow from her shortbow, which hones in on the green frog coming out of the underbrush to Sthara's left. The arrow plows right into the creature's left breast causing it to croak out in pain.
Allister arrives at the creature just in time for it to raise a spear, but Allister proves the quicker and pokes his rapier through the creature's forearm. When the creature recoils in pain, Allister follows up with his cutlass aimed at the thing's chest, but it doesn't go as deep as the fighter hoped due to the creature's flight mechanic kicking in. The frog like creature looks like it's unsure of which wound is more painful - either way it is grievously wounded.
Nenne, you're up.
I posted the initiative order on discord for easy reference and it's quicker if anyone needs to ask questions there, but I think we're still very much playing here.
Nenne runs to N22 and, banging the symbol of Kelemvor on her shield, she casts Aid on Boosey, Sthara, and Funderburk. "Show them your mettle!" she shouts to the group.
I tried clicking the Discord link in the campaign notes, but it says it expired and won't let me in. I also don't have a Discord account, though making one is easily done. I for one would prefer to keep it here, though. The devil you know...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
No worries. I'll post initiative here also. It's just a quicker reference there. If anyone needs a fresh link, just let me know.
Wounded against Allister: Attack: 16 Damage: 3 New attacker against Allister: Attack: 12 Damage: 3
Against beast: Attack: 12 Damage: 3 Against beast: Attack: 12 Damage: 6
Against Sthara: Attack: 7 Damage: 5
All of the green creatures, except the one Eku shot which recedes into the underbrush, advance with their small spears in hand. Some of them back up onto the dry side of the opposite back only to leap across the entire thing. Their small bodies soar through the air belting out croaks of ?glee?.
The creature Allister wounded so badly swings out in unison with a new arrival that threatens the fighter. The wounded creature misses badly, due to his injuries, but the other strikes Allister with the back end of his spear, having missed the thrust to kill.
Two creatures crawl out of the water, blocking the path together and fling one of their spears, one at Sthara and one at the pack beast. Another swimming across the river launches a spear at the huge pack beast. The small spear thrust toward Sthara draws a line of blood across her arm as it glances off of her, while the spear to the beast bounces harmlessly off its hide. The spear from the rear attacker sticks into the front leg of the beast and it roars out in anger.
Funderburk's thoughts elsewhere, yelling a thanks towards their newest friend for the buff, expression went from a thanks to a look of horror. Though he could tell the spear did little damage to their beast, Funderburk exclaimed, "Dunk!" After the attack he tried petting the beast, trying to ensure it did not go on any rampage. Whether or not they did when they got hurt, he still did not know with this new creature. And whether or not the calmed the beast... he did not know about that either.
@Everyone
Just want to put it out there for everyone, just to save time, I just went and named the beast Dunk. Hope that is fine with everyone. If we decide on another name, that's totally fine. I just thought this was a cool and simple name. Thanks!
Dunk is precisely my naming aesthetic when it comes to D&D animals. Thumbs up from your friendly neighborhood cleric.
Also, Funderburk, Sthara and Boosey: definitely remember to add your 5HP and increase your HP max accordingly. Aid lasts 8 hours, so even if you suffer damage in this fight, your max HP won't go down to normal till we make camp for the night. :-)
ooc: Dunk’s a good name - especially now Funderburck is getting on so well with it! Thanks for the buff, I suspect we may need it before this is over. These little roads look like pesky little blighters
Are the bushes here providing cover and/or making it difficult terrain?
Sorry, was out and about. Sthara is immune to both poison and being poisoned btw.
"Do not touch their skin!" Sthara shouts as she begins to gesture with her hands, hissing out a chant as she does. With one final jerk of her hands, a shining white war hammer appears next to the small green frog directly in front of her (spiritual weapon). She pulls both hands down and the head of the hammer–the upper jaw of a tyrannosaurus–comes crashing down at the frog-creature (7 to hit, 9 damage).
She holds a hand out to her left and the weapon moves in front of the other, swinging to the side as it does (14 to hit, 9 damage).

Assuming that the yellow fellow doesn't do anything horrifically horrible on its turn. After it goes, Boosey will move to L21 and attack frog N18 with his crossbow Attack: 14 Damage: 9.
Once he has made his attack, he shouts "Cut these swamp spawn to shreds," to Allister giving him bardic inspiration (one use 1d6 inspiration die which can be added to add to any ability check, attack roll or saving throw for 10 minutes)

So far we use Discord mainly for ooc chat or posting questions. It’s easier and faster than forum posts, especially on mobile

Their weapons are poisoned, so I need Allister and Sthara to roll a con save vs that.

17 Nenne
16 Green
14 Sthara

ooc: Hey DM, Nenne moved to N22 when she took her turn. Just to update the map.
//Thanks and sorry. Doing it now.\\
Ooc: Sthara, your turn, in case you couldn’t keep track
