Milo looks up into the sky to estimate the location of the sun and to estimate the time of the day, before he pulls his cloak closer around himself to stay warm. (Con save 21/ second try because diceroller glitch 15) Milo starts to shiver heavily as he starts to carefully look for a save way down the hill. (Acrobatics with disadvantage: 13)
OOC: Question on the climb down.....I have a hammer, pitons, and 50' rope. does anyone else have rope? If so how much of a climb is it to get off the mountain? if we have enough equipment will we roll with advantage or what do we need to make the descent easier?
"I thought it might be handy. I have a rope tied to a bolt. " Harok fires strait down between his feet about 3ft from the edge "I think multiple lines, a main and a safety may be better" Athletics 20 Harok loops the free end around himself and starts to work his way over the edge.
Wuldric also seems unphased by the colder weather (I chose [item] ring of warmth [item]). Rummaging through his bag, Wuldric takes out a bundle of hempen rope and tosses it to Elijah. "I also have 5 pitons," he adds. Remembering how difficult it was to get up the mountain, he pays extra attention to where he places his feet, making sure he has a firm grip on the ground before descending further.
OOC: Climbing equipment would give everyone using it advantage.
Working together even with Feldspar's labored pace the party reaches the bottom of the mountain at dusk. They know the Vesper Timberlands are treacherous at night and finding a good campsite is vital to their safety. They also know assembling an effective watch is also very important. Taking their horses, which they are glad to be reunited with, the party moves on. They make it away from the mountain pushing to travel another two-hours leaving a half an hour of daylight to make camp.
"I think we should all take a watch but I will take the first," Medb says pausing uneasy with her wounds but shrugging them off. "I... I am grateful you choose me," she adds looking at each of the party members. "I hope we return without another incident like last night," she reminds everyone next about their first night on the road. The ranger then hobbles her horse, feeding, and watering it before she speaks again. "I'll go catch us some dinner," she explains setting all her gear down but her bow as well as her satchel before disappearing into the trees with Henwyn's dim light at her shoulder.
OOC: We need survival check to set up camp and a watch order for 3 shifts!

Feldspar sees Medb is labored due to her injuries and carries the loss of life on her shoulders. The ranger returns a half hour later with food, rabbits, she easily skins and cooks. The party eats and the party having decided watch without Medb present. The party asleep are safe in knowing at their shift start they will be awakened.
First watch ends without trouble. Medb is silent only occasionally moving when Henwyn flits off towards a sound. Medb and Elijah end their watch with Elijah entering his trance and the ranger waking Wuldric before she going to rest.
Second watch begins as Wuldric doesn't notice anything amiss and wakes the remaining party up for their watch to begin.

Y'all can go before Elijah and he will cast guidance on each of you. add a d4 to your rolls.
I just didn't know if the rope/piton would also give an advantage or maybe lower the DC check?
