OOC: Midnight took 7 points of damage as the post clearly states below; I crossed out the crazy damage; no clue why the site rolled that much?! Also, everyone's attacks have an advantage because faerie fire is still up!!
Midnight needs to make an athletic check to climb while Harok is about halfway up the wall.
OOC: Gotcha, I wasn't 100% sure what that was. I'll apply the damage. I made my roll above, and failed with a 2 and will have to try again.

Midnight and Harok do not advance. Midnight remains on the ground below while Harok actually begins to lose his footing, DEX save to remain ten ft in the air.
Round 5
Wuldric is up!
Feldspar on deck!
The cavern is eerie silence as the only echoing sounds made by party movements.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Wuldric runs up closer to the ledge and uses minor illusion to create the sound of someone screaming and falling from 30 ft up, trying to lure the beast out. He then uses his remaining movement to distance himself from the ledge (not sure if we can step in the holes or not, so he'd go back to G6).
Feldspar tries to take cover behind the chest, and checks in with his mind spike. Has the chimera moved anywhere? He also keeps his 2nd level magic missile readied.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Feldspar senses the beast is moving, pacing, above. From the damage the party did he knows it's near death.
Harok rights himself on the face of the ledge and begins to climb again.
OOC: Milo wouldn't know but he can investigate as an action on his turn.
Midnight looks around the cavern unable to climb the ledge and screams in frustration almost in combination with Wuldric's illusion.
Medb holds her shots.
The Chimera then appears in flight using its breath weapon targeting Harok and Midnight. Midnight then falls prone at the ledge's base!! 34 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The wounded beast they attempts to escape flying 60ft towards the exit of the chamber and is 40ft off the ground!!
Harok DEX save DC15.
Midnight DEX save 13; takes double damage. The party sees the half drow burst into blue flame turning into a heap of ash in seconds!
OOC: EVERYONE holding a ranged attack, THIS ROUND, with 40ft of distance DO IT!! Remember advantage because of faerie fire!!
Medb takes her two shots Attack 1: 31 Damage: 8; Attack 2: 19 Damage: 6

Milo's last arrow brings down the beast as Elijah's radiant strike goes wide! The Chimera let's out a near deafening trio of roars and screams as it plummets falling 40ft onto to D7. The carven then fills with another eerie silence as the flames crackle and flicker on Midnight' s ashes as Harok tries to cling to the wall 35ft feet off the ground!
Harok roll a DEX save to stay on the ledge. DC 13 if failed Harok takes 4 of fall damage.
Combat over, post at will.
OOC: There will be another skill challenge to remove the items from the Chimera. Everyone please use the group PM to discuss your PCs contributions before posting!!
„Secure the cave, someone check what is up there before we relaxe.“
Milo lights a second torch and lodges it in the rock somewhere near the entrance. He picks up the one he dropped and checks the pool for any more surprises.

Elijah is up!
Harok on deck!
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
That is my plan - I'll keep trying to climb until I succeed or the chimera reappears above/in the lower chamber.
