Kierro replies as he glances sadly at the equipment left behind. "The same person who put all their spare time into designing this death-trap in the first place. It's unnerving to see the reminders of how many have attempted this before us... how many will come after us."
He closes his eyes a moment, head bowed. "...may they rest well."

Kyrian turns to what's left of the group "My item is still further east than south. I have a way to transport my way to the east door, but no way to bring anyone else. I would rather not split up however, so I am open to suggestions."

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
Jump to South, then jump to East, as long as everyone has enough of a STR score to do so... Straight East is going to be 30 feet, so Misty Step will be needed. The water is boiling, so is going to cause damage if you are in it. The Gold Dragon, at the very least, is immune to fire so would be unharmed by the hot water.
Yes. Both the room you are in, with the open door that led to the water chamber, and the hallway to the South, have room to do the ten-foot start. The problem is going to be for whomever jumpst to the East door first, as that door is closed, so it is going to be a more difficult landing there. Once that door is open though the landing will be easier for the ones that follow. Remember several of you can cast Dimension door at will, so that can easily get you across this chamber as well.

I will help to Dimension door people over to the other side, but i can only take one at a time. As for the Items, since we don’t know where we will exactly land there is a chance that the spell fails, because something else is already there. Also we don’t know what kind of trap or guardian may be there so going with only two people can be risky. The risk is most certanly worth it if it saves us time finding a way through the labyrinth, but as long as we are geting closer to the items, i would advise to move the traditional way.
Honor looks at the water. "I can also jump across it easily, and can probably carry someone." (Her Channel Divinity adds 10 feet to her jump distance, making it 35', and you only technically need a running start, the 10' desired on the landing side is for the running jump on the return; and her CD also doubles her push/pull/lift amount to 1500. Carry capacity doubles to 750 also, so she could definitely take someone with her if anyone (aside from probably Emmy) wanted to try it.)
Everyone manages to get across the chamber without issue. Through the door to the East you find...
room ... Rectangle, 20 × 30 ft Portcullis, locked, to the South. In North wall, Secret dor, one way, can only be opened from the North.
The chamber has nothing of interest in it. As you move to the portcullis though those with a passive perception score of 20 or higher would notice an arcane rune carved into the portcullis itself. If the portcullis is opened the Glyph of warding will activate.
What do you do? On the far side of the portcullis you can see a tunnel that runs South, reaching another tunnel that looks to run East and West. This is not a big obsticle for you guys, as dispel magic will shut down the ward or dimension door can easily get you beyond the door.

(I assume this isn't near any of the areas of the dungeon that Emmy mapped, and we'd know what's ahead, right?)

Emmy did not get anywhere close to this area. She never even reached this level of the dungeon before.

The door opposite, as well as the passage to the south, both have steep ramps leading up to them. The water is bubbling from the heat and steam hazes the air above it.
(Two questions: Are the items still eastward or just south now and is the gap to the passage jumpable?)
“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
Stilll quite some distance East and South. Likely more East than South still.
The distance to the South passage is about 15 feet, so jumpable if you have a high enough strength score.
(Sorry for all the questions, but is the east door opened? Does it seem the person carrying the items went east or south from this room?)

The person with the item is East and South. There is nothing to say they were ever in this room. The East door is closed.

(Kyrian's strength is pretty low.... for a dragonlord. I needa do the maths real quick 😅)
(Edit: The rules are far more simple than I thought. As long as the hallway counts as a run-up, Kyrian should be fine)

Is there enough room to get the 10' headstart needed for long jumps? For both jumps, in each direction.

(If we are using dimension door, we might as well teleport to the items directly, like Kierro and Nadarial did)

(That made more trouble than it started, TBH. Dimension Door across the chamber seems safer, plus it can be used multiple times to get everyone)

Kyrian nods. "I shall teleport across, and open the door. The rest of you can then jump safely, or teleport with Nadariel"
With that, Kyrian splays his fingers and disappears. He reappears a moment later on the other side, swinging the door open (misty step).

"I would rather go across with Nadariel than jump, if possible." Leto says, though would let Morgan and Saint jump if they are able.
