While Latrius is ahead scouting, Naivara says to Kierro, "I also remember knowing that you're... more... than human..."
Kierro nods. "I feel that I have some other power locked away as well, like some other spirit within me, but I can't remember it nor tap into it that much. Something called an... aasimar I think. I don't know that much about it other than that... one more thing to figure out, I suppose."
(He knows he's an aasimar, but doesn't remember his guide, and can't use radiant soul until level three.)
"I just didn't want to say it in town incase you wanted it to stay private," Naivara says, "and maybe once we have some more stuff figured out it'll come back."
"Well, you can't blame a girl for trying,"she says at Higgul's refusal, then laughs as he stammers his way through his attempt at a more equitable exchange. "That sounds fine with me, if you're not worried about missing your friend. I'm supposed to meet up with a couple other folks on the east side of town, where the Triboar Trail heads out to Neverwinter. I should get going soon if I don't want them to leave without me."

You get pushed out of the way. Now it is your turn, as Tessa rolled lowest on initiative.
”Just how far away is this little town of yours, Walter? We aren’t going to have to-“ she shudders and makes a disgusted noise “-camp, will we?”
"No we won't." Walter says with a shake of his head. "It is morning still and it won't take more than an hour or so to get back into town. We just have to head up here, then turn North at the bend..." He looks thoughtful for a moment. "I wonder if that was the bend I was suppose to meet Higgul at..." He shrugs. "Should be there soon regardless."
Mylene Durza
”Thank the gods for that,” Mylene says, thinking to herself, “whoever those are.” She continues on with Walter at a brisk pace, eager to put the wilderness behind her and find some answers to her current condition, as well as more fitting attire than a man’s tunic.

I'm supposed to meet up with a couple other folks on the east side of town, where the Triboar Trail heads out to Neverwinter. I should get going soon if I don't want them to leave without me."
"Seems good to me." Higgul says with a nod. "Walter is probably holed up nursing a hangover or something regardless." He glances to the path and then back to you. "Come this way, there is a faster way back to town, then to the Eastern road, than going all the way back to the road here." He takes your hand and pulls you to a small deer trail that leads Northeast. leading you along it, the two of you soon come to some of the new cottages in town. Higgul leads you on and you come out in town, near the Town Hall. Turning East then you head towards the Eastern exit of town.
As she continues along towards the town with Walter, keeping watch for his companion Higgul, Mylene again tries to struggle against the fog of forgetfulness, trying to decipher what has happened to her mind and her memories. She mentally catalogs the things she does know - which is quite a bit - and makes mental effort to recall the things she does not. She makes a mental checklist - language, basic norms and customs, the concept of economics, the notion of weapons, birth, life and death, the concept of transportation devices like a carriage, oaths and honor, pride and superiority - realizing she is far from ignorant of the world.
The fact that her personal history escapes her is still troubling, as well as the loss of specifics about the world, its history and places. It occurs to her that she might find a priest who could possibly help restore her mind, but she even struggles with this notion, as she knows of no specific gods by name, nor does she know why she believes such miracles are possible. She assumes the small town might not have a powerful enough priest, but again, clashes with the question of why she suspects that, while knowing nothing of the town.
Though there is still a puzzle to unravel, she takes pride in having used her wits, charm and gifts to see herself through thus far. An inferior woman might have been left violated and killed, left in a ditch in a remote area. She has already acquired weapons and armor, a set of bracers she still believes to be hers, and certainly magical, and at least one loyal minion. Things are looking up, she reminds herself.
She grows tired of looking for the burly man Walter described as Higgul, and instead looks for signs of civilization to try to gauge how much further they will have to travel on foot to reach the town.
You continue along the path as it twists through the forest. After a bit you hear some sounds off in the forest to your North, but they are moving away from you, not closer. Walter does not seem worried about them, and leads you on. Eventually you come to a sharp turn in the path, where it heads due North. "This is where I would have expected Higgul to be waiting..." Walter says with a frown. He glances to you. "Maybe he's busy or something today..." He looks confused, but heads on up the northern trail, eventually coming out onto a more normal road. As you reach the road you can see a small village off to your East. There are two shops at this end of town, and what looks like a town hall and inn further along.
You have a momentary pressure in your head, but it fades as you shake it away. Who do you aim the attack you posted against? Still against the original target or has things changed now?
"So are you from these parts, if you know shortcuts like this,"Honor asks as they walk. "Or do you just spend a lot of time in Phandalin?"
"I live here now." Higgul says with a shrug. "Moved in with the first of the settlers and have been helping rebuild the place." He leads you down the road East, clinking in his chain mail and not really paying much attention to the road. "Not seeing your friends yet, how far did you say they were going to be waiting out of town?"
(I am just going to assume, for ease of narrative, that you know they were heading out and would be going slow so you could catch up.)
The main group of you are about a mile from town when you spot Honor, and a huge bull-of-a-man, walking up the road behind you at a steady pace.
Honor, you spot the group ahead of you on the path at about the same time they spot you, maybe a bit later as they are actively looking for things. Latrious is no where in sight currently, but you see Naivara, with a strange man. "Those your friends?" Higgul asks Honor.
Well, I believe you were just pushed out of a chair, and your companion is still at the table, so you are all within easy range of each other. Tessa might have to adjust her position a bit, but she can still strike at either of you. I don't believe I saw anything about anyone moving away from the table. Tessa would need to make a 5 ft movement to attack you, while she can attack Sylcan without moving.
