Kierro Chysen considers his answer before responding. "I will be honest." he finally says. "You, and many you travel with, seem honorable and good. Some of them," His eyes stray to the new dragonborn figure, to Leto, and on to Tessa. He includes the Chaos dragon, the Stone Dragon, Tessa's Yellow Dragon, and even Emmy in his glance around the chamber. "Seem less so." He shrugs. "There is little I can do against these if they turn against you, but I will spend my life to protect you if need be."
"I appreciate your honesty. I'm mostly focused on getting us all back to our homeworld, and I feel that's an easier task if we travel together. Failing that, I suppose I'd start looking to help this world as I did mine. You've been very kind and helpful to us all, and I thank you for accompanying me."
Kierro raises an eyebrow as he follow's Chysen's gaze. "Really? I can understand the others, but Emmy?... perhaps not honorable, but I assumed spirited toward good, if very much carefree. That's a bit surprising to learn."
"Perhaps in the opposite direction of where we're headed?" Naivara thinks outloud. "That way they don't appear to be working with us."
"That seems best. I'm sure whoever sent the storms probably knows that we worked with them, but as long as we aren't travelling with them I feel that they will be safe. Speaking of travelling..." Kierro retrieves a map and attempts to find where his pull might be (Chysen providing help, Kierro casting guidance. Survival: 17)
Honor Higgul has an ale in front of him as you move to speak with him. He nods to you, and looks to where the other dragonlords, and dragons-in-human-form, sit around the tavern. "Been quite the trip." He says when his eyes return to Honor. "Feels a bit like getting tossed into what you think is a puddle, only to find out that it is a bottomless well." he sighs as he takes another swig. "Morgan seems to enjoy this, and I have no real complaints either, but I feel I am well in over my head here, and that I don't really know where, and what, this will all lead to."
Honor nods. "I'm not sure where it will lead either -- I'm still figuring things out as we go as well. As long as you're happy to stay, I'd be glad to have you. If it goes beyond what you feel comfortable with, or what you feel is right, know that I'd have no issue with you wishing to return, or even to simply part ways. You did a kindness to a stranger, and I'd not see that go unrewarded."
"My deception was only to ensure my safety, but being that we are all seeking similar goals, for now, I believe it would be prudent for us all to travel together going forward. For that reason, I would like to travel alongside you in this form, which you may call Caradran." She pauses for a second to catch her breath and give a quick glance at the other dragon lords present, "If you will have me until we retrieve our items."
"Hiding who you are is a fine way to discover how people feel about someone who isn't actually you," Honor says dryly. "Now you introduce yourself as someone who has lied to us. Even if you in turn did nothing to cause us harm, you must know that you will have to work in order for some of us to trust."
"Why don't we just buy a boat? We have the funds, I am sure. The dragons can take it in turns to propel the boat using their wings, and rest in human form when they get tired."
"Do we need another boat, at that rate? How many additional people do we have, would it be possible for the dragons themselves to carry us and we simply fly?"
"Do we need another boat, at that rate? How many additional people do we have, would it be possible for the dragons themselves to carry us and we simply fly?"
"We don't even know how far away it is," Naivara says. "They will need rest as well."
(Dragons can fly you 8 hours per day, but then will need a rest, as would any creature who is not immune to exhaustion. You would thus need to find a place to camp out, and to spend the night. Finding such places is not likely to happen all the time, so what do you do when no place to rest presents itself? I am not against it, you just need to consider how to make it work...)
Honor "I am here for you." Higgul says honestly, holding Honor's eyes for a long moment. "You, and only you, have my loyalty." he turns his eyes away, lifting his ale again, leaving it at that.
Kierro "Chaos is the antipathy of order." The gold dragon says, glancing to Emmy and the Chaos dragon again. "There is no way to tell if they will stand at your back, or stab you in that back, they have no idea of law and order."
Kierro would also find that the only real land in the direction the pull indicates is climpart. It is well over 2400 miles to the South and East
Kyrian shakes his head at Chysen "It is totally possible, and practical, to do both. I have never tried to stab someone in the back from in front of them before, but it sounds a little finicky."

(I don't see how it would. If you can tell me how, then we can talk, but I really don't think it would work. It does have a floor (as I know some DMs don't have that,) but even-so...)

Caradran gives a dry laugh at that statement. "I would venture to say that none of you truly trust each other. Save perhaps the two goody-two-shoes over there." She points at Naivara and Kierro. "The rest of you are only here for convenience." She glances at Leto and gives a subtle nod as she finishes this statement. "I'm not here to gain your trust. I'm just here because it benefits the both of us to be working all together."
As the conversation in the morning comes around to transportation, Caradran offers her two cents worth. "Why could the dragons not just carry multiple of us and other dragons in human form as well? Most of them are quite large and would have no trouble with it. It would allow for the dragons to get some rest in between as they ride on other dragons."
(OOC: I think someone else pitched this idea at some point... but I can't figure out why it wouldn't work, so I just wanted to bring it back up.)
Kyrian looks thoughtful "I don't believe I have ever seen Fratty in her draconic form. Not that it matters, I am sure she will transform when she wishes to."
At this statement, fratty gives a wink to the rest of the group.
She was in her true dragon form in the room with the lightning trap and those dog-like cockroach things. Where you yourself got your item I believe. She changed form so she could use her breath weapon until she spat out lightning, so she could walk through the chamber with lightning immunity.

(I doubt this'll work, but can dragons fit in the space created by rope trick?)

(This I really don't think would work, but would it be possible to use Leomund's Tiny Hut and turn it upside down or something?)

Even if we use two huts to create a sphere, it only got limited space and with dragons we are way beyond that. Is the castle available?
(I'm regretting not picking up Instant Fortress, though if we're flying over the ocean none of this really solves where to land.)

The castle is definitely available, but is going to be slow, 100 days to travel, as posted in the OOC.
