Leto shrugs in response to Mylene saying "She attacked me and was punished, perhaps not harshly enough, but I see no need to continue at this point." Then looking to Latrius says "Your boots are on the ground over there" pointing to near the orc where he'd taken the boots off a minute ago, continuing "perhaps I will take yours if you don't need them. They likely will fit better than these from the orc... and hopefully smell less foul..."

He then looks around the group and says "After this issue with the halfling is taken care of perhaps more proper introductions are in order... It seems you all know much more than I about our..." adding a slight questioning inflection on 'our' and pausing searching for the correct word, lands on "situation."

"Your pet, Mylene, shot me, when I merely took from his hand the wand that belonged to me. It did not allow me to participate in the battle. If you are going to muzzle every rabid dog around here, you can begin with him, otherwise it is not a justice you are delivering, but a selected vengeance".

"Not surprised, though. You wanted us to share our memories? Well, consider this my parting gift: I had a memory of you. And you are the very thing you are now - a bandit queen. Though back then you were more careful and did not announce your criminal allegiances so openly." She smiled sweetly to Mylene: "Oh, and you are considered noble, that part is true. No title, not a respected name by any means, but still somewhat noble. now enjoy your little town pillaging here and good buy".

"Sylcan, shall we go?"  

Sylcan Naïlo:

Shrugging at Mylene's rebuke (?), Sylcan replies indifferently, "You lost me at generosity, honestly. Why do things for others when they aren't your allies?" Turning to the tiefling woman who had previously said she had remembered Sylcan, he grins and throws up a two-finger salute. "You said we were best friends, so if you need anything, let me know. Honor, right?" With that, Sylcan nods to Latrious, conveying the same thought, and walks toward Vilana. "Ah, and one more thing - " Sylcan turns to look back at Mylene "If you want my memory of your friend, Leto, you'll have to trade for it - I'm not going to give away valuables, you know." With a wink, he turns back to Vilana. "At your command, my lady", Sylcan says with a mock bow.

Leto simply laughs and says "Such feigned offense!" Then looking to the others says "These are the type of people you allow in your group? This one is little different from the halfling. Attacking without provocation. Though at least that one doesn't hide their intentions." Turning towards his attacker saying "Anyone here could see that you attacked me first. I didn't realize it was allowed to simply take whatever you want from whomever is at hand at any time; and now you're ready to run away under someone else's wing and plan who else to hit when they aren't looking it seems."

Vilana sized him up: "And a liar too, of course. I offered you a trade - a focusing crystal (my crystal) for a wand (my wand). You refused, and I took it - just took it from your hand. Then - yes, everyone saw you attacking me".

She turned to Mylene: "He is as mad as this little halfling, one day he will bite your hand too. Not that I care, but be ware."

With that Vilana turned around and walked away with Sylcan.

Naivara:

"Ya... I mean... um," Naivara looks to Tessa, "you can't just do that Tessa. He was helping us... and you can't just rip things out of people's hands either... we kinda had a bigger issue to deal with than our memories at the time," she looks around, "maybe we should take this conversation somewhere else? In case more orcs decide to appear..."

Latrius:

Latrius nods, and goes and pulls on his boots.  He'll toss Leto his.

"You can hardly call someone grabbing one of their own possessions from you attacking you—that's all she tried to do, and you nearly killed her."

He then nods to Sylcan.

"Likewise."

Kierro looks to the two about to leave, and calls out:

”Villana, before you go, my memory was of you - I remembered me helping you when you received an injury and you assisted me in return. You were reliable, and while we didn’t agree on some principles, I still respected you.

I’d ask you to stay with us, but if you’re set on going back with Sylcan then I’m sure we’ll meet soon enough.” He nods. “Do be safe.”

Turning back to the group, he says: “We should follow back to Phandalin shortly; this place might have more orcs.“ He then turns back to Tessa, awaiting her response.

Latrius:

After putting on his boots, Latrius addresses the group.

(This is assuming he’s not still in combat with Tessa)

"I must take my leave now as well—I have an unpaid debt back in Phandalin I must take care of."

Naivara:

As Naivara straps on her bracers she looks up at Latrious, "Wait... um... I thought you said something about remembering me?"

Latrius:

Latrius pauses.

"Yes.  I do.  You’re a peacemaker, you prefer the company of animals to people.  I . . .found you frustrating at times, but we got along well enough."

 OOC: I agree, some of this has shifted from “heat of the moment dialogue during battle/tense scene” to “packing our things to leave” post-combat dialogue. Perhaps we should skip to Tessa’s initiative and resolve that first? She’s the most likely to have a defining action right now. 

(Yeah, I realized after I posted that we were still waiting for her.)

(I'd posted because I was going to bed, in case somehow whatever Tessa did wouldn't cause Honor to react, however unlikely that was. Normally I wait to post.)

“No one is going anywhere. We’ll sort this treachery of Tessa’s and then finalize our agreement. We were a breath away from confirming our third counsel person when the orcs attacked, if you’ll all recall,” Mylene reminds them. 

Mylene waits to see whether Tessa will surrender, having been ordered to do so.

Mylene
Moves forward and attacks one of the two remaining orcs. Her first attack misses, the orc dodging, but her second takes the orc down.

Naivara
Shoots at the remaining orc, her arrow striking the unwounded orc in the shoulder, causing it to curse in rage.

Sylcan Naïlo
Drops the last of the orcs with his own well-placed shot, his arrow driving into the orc's right eye and dropping it.

Kierro
Heals the redbrand. He then prepares a sacred flame if Tessa continues to attack.

The redcloaks start stripping the orcs of their gear, content to let the others figure out what to do with Tessa.

Vlune frowns at having no one else to attack. He glances to Brun, growling as he sees the grizzled warrior regarding him. He moves to one side of the battle field and leans against a tree.

Vilana
Vilana starts to walk away, Sylcan prepared to follow.

Moves back to Honor's side, not sure who he should be trusting just now.

When Tessa attacked him he used his reaction to move 15 feet away from her (skermisher.) He then shoots at her with his bow on his turn.

Attack: 20 Damage: 8

sneak attack: 8

Damage is non-magical so you take half-damage on it.

Tessa ... please post action.

Tessa is now at 5 hp, so she is badly wounded.
