Okay... Cool... I assume its back to my team, so..

Xeno advances further into the maze after clicking his heels together, and rushing forward on special heel wheels. Using the rest of his own power, he gets in close enough to fire a shot at the ancient, before rapidly retreating as much as possible.

Ba: Cast Expeditious Retreat and Dash as part of the spell to 12-C.
Ma: To 13-B.
Ac: Pistol Shot at Ancient.
Attack: 12 Damage: 13 magical piercing.
Ma: Remaining to 10-C.

Swigg will appear at i10 and play for Dorkas Heat Metal (9). As the crunchy distorted notes raise higher and higher Dorkas' half plate glows hotter and hotter.

 Heat metal has spell D.C. or do I take direct damage 

(I always try to include the spell tooltip when I cast so you can hover over it with your mouse but if that doesnt work. You just take the damage because you are wearing the armor. There is nothing to let go or hold onto in spite of.) 

Rubble: (Round 1)

Grianne strides forward into the battlefield to and casts her spell. A field of sharp Spike Growth appears in a wide area protecting the Ancient. Xeno can see the area transform before his eyes (and so does not need to roll to spot it.) Grianne falls back and shifts into Grizzlianne Cragrianne. (At i-12)

Dorkas moves up and rallies the Ancient.

Swigg appears from the shadows and plays a face melting riff. Dorkas' face begins to melt (Dorkas roll a DC 13 CON save to avoid disadvantage on rolls)

 Xeno considers running through the spikes...

Xeno darts around the spikes and tries to get a shot off, but he can't get an angle on the Ancient. He closes on Swigg's last known location, but the space is empty. (Using 60 feet of movement.)

Unless I'm missing something, the item the spell is from is not an actual one.

I can't find it in the database, and it seems some of the information on it is off in the actual description. Do you have Homebrew turned on Dorkus?

If you're under a campaign with content sharing active, then it's someone else's creation.

Which is fine. It doesn't appear to be /that/ broken of an item, and this can just be fixed after the match. So, taking the lumps as-is for now.

That ain't right. But, it was a 2 on the die, so +7 makes it not enough.

 I have removed the item I can no longer find it, could of been some else that now left campaign I’m not bovered by if you wanted to take the damage cus of the item 

I'll leave it as-is until DM ruling on the subject, and you're able to find another free uncommon magic item to replace it in some fashion.
