Callaphe looks at the group, whom she had only just met. "Well... I suppose this will be an interesting quest, if anything. I'll join you."

Areus looks at the group and then to Alexio "So it seems that we all agree to collect the other fragments. It will be an interesting quest for sure."

From behind Aleixo, comes galloping sounds, then a white haired female Centaur appears and stops in front of her, and stands in attention. She has long, nimble legs, and lean body. Scars in her body tells that she has participated in many raids with her band. She also has white vertical stripes on her hooves. “Hoptlite Saya reporting for duty, Sir. I came as fast as I could.”

Soren looks at Alexio, confused. "Who in Tartarus is this?" Then he looks back at her with a studying gaze. "Does she know what we are doing?"

"This is Saya, a member of the Reverent Army.  I summoned her to assist when the portents showed that you had retrieved the mask.  Unfortunately Calisto also read the portents and met us here before Saya arrived. She is a healer, and a worthy warrior in her own right. But since Calisto has gotten away with the Ainoe mask  I think I would like her to join you in your quest to retrieve the remaining fragments of the Elpis mask."

Aleixo explains.

"I can help get you started with that as well. The Twelve know of only one other piece, said to be in Arixmethes, the drowned city on the back of a kraken, which currently swims in Thyrmokles’ Eddies. Seek it there."

She the hands you each a bag of gold.

"200 gold pieces each as promised. You will need the funds on your journey."

She gives the same to Saya. "To help with expenses."

"May the god's good fortune be with you."

Never one to miss an opportunity Tisto says "well we better get kracken' then!" He looks over at Saya "how well can you swim?" 

“Elpis Mask...” Saya thinks to herself. (History: 7) She tries to remember what that is, though she is sure it is important. Before she can finish her thoughts, Aleixo hands her some gold. She is not sure if she is supposed to accept it, but she hesitantly receives it. “Thank you Sir. If needed, I will give my life for this mission. May the gods fortune be with us.”

Saya looks around and she sees another hoptlite, that makes her slightly at easy. She waits for Aleixo to leave. “Sooo. Would anyone.” She more looks at the other warrior. “Could give me a low down of what is happening?”

She has to down slightly when the Sartyr speaks. “Do you actually mean swimming as in swimming in open water?” She has a weird look on her face. “Well... I did some river closings with ease. I hope that counts...” Then she shrugs.

"That'll do. I hope you don't mind if I ride on your back then cos I hate the water." Tisto responds

Callaphe snickers, "Well, this whole thing has proven more interesting than I expected it to be."

Saya look inquisitively at the Satyr. “Suuure...” She thinks about it. She probably won’t even feel the creature on her back, and chances are she will do better in the water at any rate. She hopes.

“Gentlemen. Sorry to be a little bit of a downer, but I am still in the dark here. Aleixo must have had a good reason to pull me from my assignment to aid you in this mission of yours. I am sure that if the Elpis Mask is involved, it must be the utmost importance.” Saya slightly stomps her front hooves around impatiently. Small spark of electricity comes off at each stomp.

Soren sighs. “If we come across any water, I’ll do drown you myself. Let’s get a move on. Callisto will notice that she was tricked soon, and I would like to be as far away from here as mer-ly.....er, humanly possible before she comes back. We will fill you in on the way Saya. You will probably have to bash Tisto if you don’t want him to sing it.”

"That's harsh - that is! Would you prefer a soliloquy? Something along the lines of 'alas poor Elpis I knew her well, blah blah, blah .... " Tisto says to Soren with a grin.

“May Keranos’ wisdom bless our mission.” Says Saya solemnly. “And may Keranos grant me strength.” She thinks to herself, as her new companions go back and forth.

Areus thanks Alexio for the gold and nods to her as she walks away. He then walks towards the newly arrived centaur and gives her a Arkoan military salute "Khaire friend! I am called Areus, as you can see from my armor, I hail from Arkos. I am glad that we will have a fellow hoplite, even from a different polis, in this quest." 

The man in front of Saya is a medium build, muscular man with golden olive skin, long black hair tied in a topknot on the back of his head. He wears a Lektoi chain mail that has seen clearly some battle.

"As for our quest, I will leave the embellishments to our Tisto. With the exception of Callaphe, we all arrived in Meletis a few days ago for different reasons. I accompanied as a military escort a caravan from Arkos and I was enjoying my leave in a tavern when that woman, Calisto, under a false name, hired all of us to do a service for the Twelve. To recover a relic, the Ainoe Mask. Alexio, was informed of what we were doing and told us the prophecy of the masks and asked us to bring them to her. We found that and also a fragment of another mask, the Elpis Mask. Calisto bested us and took the Ainoe Mask. Now you know all the story." says Areus to Saya as they walk.

As you stand around discussing your next moves Aleixo leaves with Drakon.  Several minutes after that Spyro comes running up.

"We saw the commotion and feared something horrible has happened as we see it seemed to center on the place we guided you to to get into the tunnels under the city.  After things seemed to have settled down, well here we are.  It seemed safe to approach to check and see if you are OK.  So, everything OK?"

Soren smiles at the saytr “unfortunately we all survived, including Callisto »

"Don't worry," Callaphe says, "she'll get what's coming to her."

"So what now, did you find what you were looking for?" Spyro asks

Saya salutes the Akron back. “Greetings Areus. So our mission now is to recover the Elpis Mask? What about the Ainoe Mask? Wherever you go, that will be my next destination. Who’s the new Sartyr?” Says Saya referring to Spyro.
