Callaphe moves in with her blades and though her first strike misses her second catches mummy with a stinging blow. Saya is right behind her feeling ineptness she manages to drive the spear into the creature. Both see that their attacks don't injure quite as much as they had hoped. Tisto's ball of energy slams into the mummy with good effect.
Soren smiles grimly "I thought my skin wrinkled underwater, but looking at yours I realize that I got lucky"
He raises his hand, and says a single word. Power floods through his veins as he marks his opponent for a second death (hexblades curse). With a hissing noise his blade flies free from its scabbard, and he attacks the mummy.
Attack: 23 Damage: 18 If it hits he will smite adding 14 radiant damage

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
So I'm not sure what you all have going there. If that's a longsword attack its made with disadvantage underwater. You also added +8 to the damage but your damage should be +4 to damage (CHA modifier) and +2 for the Hexblade Curse. You also have an extra 1d6 added to your damage but I don't see where that came from. I'm thinking maybe Hex but you can't cast that as its a BA and you already used your BA to do Hexblade Curse.
At minimum roll another d20 for the disadvantage on the attack,
When making a melee weapon attack, a creature that doesn't have a swimming speed (either natural or granted by magic) has disadvantage on the attack roll unless the weapon is a dagger, javelin, shortsword, spear, or trident.
A ranged weapon attack automatically misses a target beyond the weapon's normal range. Even against a target within normal range, the attack roll has disadvantage unless the weapon is a crossbow, a net, or a weapon that is thrown like a javelin (including a spear, trident, or dart).
Creatures and objects that are fully immersed in water have resistance to fire damage.
(The plus 2 damage is from the dueling fighting style, and you are 100% correct, the d6 is from hex. For some reason my brain forgot that hex is not active on the new opponent 😅. Here is the d20 21)

OK, that makes more sense. You hadn't actually selected Dueling on your character sheet so it wasn't showing properly. (I went ahead and made the selection so its good now.)
Soren sweeps his blade around and while the mummy seems to be resistant to the edge of the blade the ensuing blast of radiance that hits causes major damage to the body of the undead.
The mummy, seeing Soren to be the biggest threat, turns its Dreadful Gaze on him
succeed on a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw against this magic or become frightened until the end of the mummy's next turn. If the target fails the saving throw by 5 or more, it is also paralyzed for the same duration. A target that succeeds on the saving throw is immune to the Dreadful Glare of all mummies (but not mummy lords) for the next 24 hours.

Action Spear attack using Distracting strike if I hit.
When you hit with a weapon attack, you can expend one superiority die to add the total to the damage roll and the next attack roll against the target by an attacker other than you has advantage if the attack is made before the start of your next turn.

(On Saya’s turn)

With a few quick strokes you are able to finish off the mummy and it drifts away in the water, limp and dead, not just undead. Tisto's final spell is unneeded as his compatriots before him finish the mummy off. (I credited Tisto back 1 lvl 1 spell slot). The hero in the mural has also slain the mummy.
With the mummy threat removed you peer into the altar and see a passage that leads downward.
Areus is bit frustrated that in the last two fights he barely managed to score only one hit, "Good job everyone, shall we proceed?" The hoplite points to the newly found passage "The water-breathing spell of the Oracle will not last forever, we have better to hurry up, but let's be more careful as I suspect that that mummy was not the last trial."

Following the passage downward, you arrive in a vestibule. The chamber is 300 feet high, and you enter it from the ceiling.
The long, vertical shaft opens into an extensive chamber as a hole in the ceiling. In this room, a gigantic statue stands next to a door of a similar size. In one hand, the statue holds a spear, stretched out into the room, as if warding the entrance. In the other hand, the statue holds an iron chain that extends from a hole in the ceiling into the floor. The door is built into the corner of the room, forming a double door with a mural on the wall. Like in the other rooms, the mural shows a mirror image of this grand chamber. The hero has also arrived in the mural of the chamber.

Does Tisto recognise or has heard of who/what the statue represents (History = 10)?
The statue appear to be made of metal. Tisto doesn't recognize it as anyone in particular. It is just a generic statue of a man. Callaphe sees nothing else of note.
"Maybe there is something terrible behind that door. Maybe we, and by we, I mean us and the hero, needs to open the door at the same time?" Says Saya, not sure if that made any sense.
(Just for curiosity. How long is the spear that the statue is holding?)
