Lucas remembered why he ran away from home. A dream and desire to explore the world, to see its beauty and wonder. He nearly died right off the bat, saved by the passing kindness of his master who took him in and showed him the ways of the wilderness. After that, he believed he was ready, but his master warned him that there would be many horrors that would still scar him to come. Lucas was so sure, that he knew better....then he failed. He tried to save Byrn Shander, to warn them, to do something...and it was all for nothing. The dragon came, and so did the army. He fought teeth and bone, taking blows for others in hopes that they would live. And then he was buried alive, surrounded by death and pain.
Lucas though was filled with rage, but he was sure that there wouldn't be another moment that the bar he set for the world, would fall even lower....this did it. Looking at the carved-up bodies of the various people, likely refugees or innocents judging by the number, he felt the same burning in the back of his throat as he felt sick. However, that fire in his mouth turned to fuel the rage in his heart. He clutched his gloved fists and waited. His hands unconsciously moving to his blades as he glared up, not at anyone in particular, but just in general.
The shaman crumples to the floor at Sobek's strike, her wolf mask falling to the floor. The channeling ends.
The Great Warrior emits a horrible scream, and immediately about three hefty guards grapple Sobek, restraining him. The rest of you are surrounded by armed tribal guards, weapon points nearly touching you. One false move..
The shaman gets up and peers into your eyes, she notices something about you. Even though the heat spell has ended, you can still feel it. "This one is different..."She looks you over, physically, carefully, magically. "Yes. A false image. I can see youuuu."
A massive woman approaches. This one is obviously the Chieftain, Sangra. As she approaches, the tribe makes room for her approach. She is a young woman, physically powerful, and is marked with blood on her face, dried. Her hair is black, matted, and her eyes are a piercing green. She is dressed in furs, carries a staff, and wears massive antlers on her head - or..are they coming from her head? Just by looking at her, you can tell something is very, very wrong. When she nears, she looks at the Shaman, and the shaman turns to Sobek with a possessed look.
"Outsiders!!!"she screams. "I am Sangra!! Why are you here?!!?"
Sobek turns to face Sangra, still relaxed. 'You've taken the clan down a dark path. Along with this one.' he gestures sharply to the shaman. 'You have failed your people, tarnished them rather than following the path of the wolf. Rather than travelling to where there is food you have stayed in pride, eating the flesh of people, and embracing the dark arts. I will return your people to their spirit animal, once the corruption is cleansed.'
He takes a deep breath. 'I walk with the wolf spirit, and I will lead the tribe back into balance. You may leave, with your tail behind your legs, or you may die, now.'

At this point, I will describe what is happening, and at any point you all can act and/or intervene. If no one does, I will progress.
Sobek, the Chieftain looks away, raises her hand, and two massive stones erupt from the ground, like obelisks, but rougher. With a gesture, you are being muscled/dragged to it. There is rope around each of the stone, and it appears you are about to be tied between them.
Everywhere you all look, you are at least outnumbered 6 or 7 to 1.
The shaman you struck is preparing some sort of blood mixture in a clay bowl off to the side.
The entire tribe is chanting in words you've never heard before.
Beneath her cloak, Vetis's hands move in a simple motion, and suddenly she flings her hands out. With a howl of wind, a blizzard spontaneously manifests in the area, the snow driving forward and blinding everyone for the briefest of moment. When your eyes clear...they don't. Radiating from the tiefling in a 20 foot radius sphere is the pure, silent, unbroken darkness of being buried deep below the snow. The ground begins to tremble beneath the camp, and Vetis's voice booms through the area. "Time. To leave."

Lucas, suddenly having his sight robbed, hear's Vetis' voice, and tries to find out what direction it is they're walking in based on the sound and feel of the air.
As you all flee, Sangra holds up a hand and none of the tribe members make a move. For some reason you can't imagine at the moment, you are not pursued or attacked. However, you get the feeling you have not seen the last of Sangra.
The snowy tundra and the sound of the wind is all that you hear as you flee the encampment. After a while, the snow covers your tracks and it's like you were never there.
Vetis stops moving as they get out of sight of the encampment. She turns to face the party, her icy armor still in place, and says in a calm, level voice. "Can we please stop just attacking people when we are outnumbered ten to one by their allies. A duel is one thing. What happened back there is entirely another."
A massive creature erupts from the snow next to you, it's nearly three times your height, easily. It's completely black, slender, and appears three dimensional, like an artists rendition of a nightmare. Gangly limbs with sharp claws at the end, it's like a living, alien shadow with solid form from the depths of the cosmos. It is completely featureless and gangly, with black antlers atop it's head. For eyes, it has green solid circles with lines like large veins that travel from them down throughout it's body. It takes a step forward and screams at you, shaking your bones and your very soul with a sound you've never heard before.

"A reasonable request, although it would also be a nice change of pace if we stopped being in situations where we're outnumbered 10-to-1 by hostiles period. Now I suppose we should get back to the survivors, tell them to keep an eye out for the Wolf Tribe and head over to Yselm's Way."
Percival looks at the creature's eyes and its' antlers and looks at Sobek. "I think that you'll get to take a shot at that chieftain after all."
Sobek seems slightly deflated, but still stands tall ‘I’m sorry, I was driven by the anger of the wolf spirit. I didn’t realise they were so far gone into corruption that they wouldn’t honour a challenge. Or maybe I did it wrong? I was just a child when I lost my tribe...’ he deflates a little more at the memory, but jerks upright a moment before the eruption of the horror, gripping his maul firmly and stepping in between this corrupt creature and the rest of the group.

Kai’s gaze is immediately diverted upon the horrific sight, choking back some bile from the back of his throat. “Oh gods...”
Upon Kaz’s suggestion, he manages to stomach it down and give the Druid a nod in confirmation. “Y-yep...”

The nature one wants to stop me. How cute. Oh, and they've begun plotting against you.
I'm shocked it took this long.
Vetis waits until the group gets into a fight to do much, but she does cast armor of agathys, ice forming over her robes into frosty armor.
