OOC: The two kobolds that are wounded had disengaged last turn. I'm assuming Karib doesn't want to risk opportunity attacks from the winged kobolds that are attacking him, so I'll assume that his attack is directed for one of them.
The winged kobolds attacking Karib will be dead before Yevele's attack, so redirecting her arrow toward another winged kobold.
Karib's mace snaps into the neck of a winged kobold as it dives toward him. The creature bounces off of the cavern wall, scrambles in an attempt to get back up, then meets the blade of Rogram's sword as it slices through its wings and torso. The skies near the cleric are soon freed entirely when Smoke cuts down the other winged kobold in his space.
Yevele sends an arrow into the wing of another flying kobold, which pays no heed to the missile as it dives toward Smoke, leading with its dagger. The tabaxi is grazed by the fly-by, but avoids the stone its companion flings down toward him simultaneously. Having seen Karib's bonfire subside, the fleeing kobolds choose a new target. One braves a charge at Rogram, and the half-dwarf brings his blade back to keep the rushing creature away; the feint, however, succeeds, as its companion's sling launches a stone that explodes upon Rogram's head. Dazed, his legs buckling and turning to gelatin, he tries to maintain consciousness.
Round 5 Order: Players <===== Enemies
Placement: Two winged kobolds and two kobolds remain. One kobold is engaged in melee combat with Rogram. One winged kobold is engaged in melee combat with Smoke. All combatants are within movement range.
Health: The winged kobold attacking Smoke is lightly wounded. Both kobolds are lightly wounded.
Rogram is grievously wounded. Yevele is severely wounded. Karib is wounded. Smoke is wounded.
Cut by the dagger Smoke tries to put his weight on his other leg tilting him away from the flyby. To late for avoiding the dagger but managing to get out of the rocks way.
Drawing back his rapier he thrusts it forward to the winged kobold in front of him, determined to take them down and rid himself of these winged horrors.
Movement: None Action: Rapier attack vs engaged winged kobold tohit 23 for 8 dmg (see diceroll thread)
Karib growls at the kobold atacking Rogram, and brings his staff down on it's head with as much force as he can muster (which isn't much given his weakened state).
Attack: 14, Damage: 5
(( If the Kobold is dead before he strikes, then he runs to the one with a sling, unless that would provoke an AOO, in which case he attacks the weakest nearest enemy )) ))
Rogram shakes his head, which is pounding. He fights the urge to feel the back of his head, which he knows is bleeding profusely. Once these creatures are finally put down, he's going to be longing for one of his mother's tonics.
As his companions fight about him, the half-dwarf picks a still-standing target and attacks through the haze threatening to blind him.
Rogram sees Yevele's arrow drop the kobold before him, freeing him up to charge the remaining kobold. He and Karib close on the creature before it can drop its sling and defend itself with its dagger, ending its life as Smoke impales the flying kobold above him.
Seeing its flying companion flailing in its death throes, the remaining winged kobold makes a mad dash away from the fight, fleeing rapidly into the descending stairwell and out of sight.
In the mere moments that have passed, you find yourselves standing above eleven kobold corpses, the battle subsided.
Area Description:
The landing you are on sits between two stairwells; one behind you, choked with rubble, descends back toward the drake nursery, while the one ahead ascends toward the dragon shrine.
To the side lies a dark chamber, where the kobolds surged from.
OOC: Each character has received 112 XP for defeating the kobold cabal.
Karib sags to the ground, breathing heavily. Before checking his own wounds, he examines the kobolds wondering if any might be stabilized. In his anger after being knocked unconscious he had not thought to try to subdue them.
He then looks over his companions wounds to, tending them as best he can without magic.
Finally, he nods to the west, "If there were more, they'd be here, and that one would have fled in a different direction."
While the others gather their strength, Karib cautiously moves a little south-west, then throws a glowing stone into the darkness to see what it reveals. If nothing comes out to attack him, he repeats the process.
Nothing disturbs Karib after the stone is thrown. The light reveals thin mattresses of straw covered with badly cured furs that form small beds that are haphazardly positioned around the chamber. Rats and small lizards scurry away from the stone toward the food scraps and moldy wine skins littering the floor.
@DirtyDog: Damn. Oh well. While I would like to explore, I really doubt Karib has a huge desire to do so to any more...but could be up for one last hurrah.
Rogram gives Smoke a quick glance before bearing his teeth and swinging again at the nearest winged kobold.
Attack: 22 Damage: 12
Let's see if he's inspired: 2
Yevele will shoot at one of the winged kobolds attacking Karib: Attack: 24 Damage: 5
For her bonus action, she will spend a ki point to use patient defense. All attacks against her are at disadvantage.

Yevele will make another shot with her bow, this time aiming at one of the kobolds attacking Rogram: Attack: 13 Damage: 11
If she hits, she will use her bonus action to make it a kensei shot, doing an additional 2 damage.
(( @DM are there any ground-based kobolds that are next to each other? My reading suggest not. I'm looking for a two-target bonfire if possible. ))
OOC: You have it correct, the grounded kobolds have split up, one is fighting Rogram while the other stayed back with its sling.

Rogram's arms feel like jelly, and he can't help by drop to his knees as his vision swims.
Karib confirms that none of the kobolds around, winged or otherwise, are clinging to life.

Karib stares in stunned silence at the remnants of so many lost lives, albeit evil ones. "Such waste..." he says quietly.
He stares at the still-breathing form of the kobold he has been dragging with him and shakes his head.
"Enough," he says. "Shall we just get our prisoners and leave? The darkness here is invading my soul."
(( @DM: I think we have now explored everywhere, correct? ))
@Ereshion: There's still something past the roper that we haven't seen.
@DirtyDog: Damn. Oh well. While I would like to explore, I really doubt Karib has a huge desire to do so to any more...but could be up for one last hurrah.
Smoke looks to the others to see how they are doing and notices they are in bad shape.
Should be continue to bring this meat to the cave creature? It might be able to give us information.
Taking a moment to pause
But we have been here a long time, and are not sure if others still roam these caves.
