After smelling the alcohol on the sleeping individual, Yevele looks at the rest of the party before softly saying "He's passed out from drinking the wine. I wonder if he is really a member of the cult, or possibly a thief who snuck in here." She will look closer at the individual, looking for any signs that he might be one of the cult. Does he have a scabbard similar to the ones that were found in the previous room? investigation11
The man does not possess a scabbard like the guards in the previous room. There also does not seem to be any wine left, aside from a few droplets, in the bottles laying around the man.
For Karib:
Nothing seems to be directly wrong with the man aside from being deep in his slumber.
"Huh." Karib seems non-plussed. "Never seen this one in the camp. Doesn't look much a like a prisoner, nor a gaurd. Let's see what he's carrying, eh?"
He proceeds to rifle through their pockets and belongings, trying to make sense of the situation, while praying to Gond and thinking back on conversations in the camp that might relate to this stranger.
(( @DM: Just want to check -- (1) Does the man look wounded? (2) How are they dressed -- like a guard, like a person of importance (husband?), like a prisoner? (3) Did they have anything on them that would make this clearer: wedding ring, money, maps, notes, items etc ))
Karib sighs and says to Rogram, "That one's down a rickety ladder and maybe chatting to the roper. Not sure I want to tangle with them again."
OOC: No visible wounds, dressed in a manner similar to most of the cultists you have seen in the cavern (leather armor + scimitar), and does not have any personal items on his person.
Karib nods, "Aye. Let him sort through the mess when he wakes."
With a last quick search in the room, wondering why this man has his own room, Karib rechecks the bonds and gag of their prisoner and stands ready to leave.
(( No papers, no boxes, no chest, no backpack or trunk? ))
OOC: Everything that the party is able to see was described in #2161:
Smoke and Rogram lead the party into a mostly empty chamber, excepting a few overturned boxes, broken items, scattered coins, empty wine bottles, and one human man who appears to be sleeping quite soundly on the floor, splayed out in his leather armor. A scimitar lies by his side.
If the group is content and this human is sound asleep Smoke will move towards the corridor they came from and turn back to the group.
Perhaps we should move on, this seems to be a dead end. Lets try the other tunnel.
Assuming the others agree Smoke starts to move towards the split tunnels from before and tries to sneak into the unexplored tunnel trying to see whats up ahead.
Karib is as usual tagging along behind, keeping a wary eye on the prisoner and as soon as their muscles stiffen, or there's any sign of movement, he makes sure that they remain docile.
The other tunnel would seem to be a dead end as it wraps around, were it not for the bright light eking through. Wrapping around a cleverly hidden alcove, you emerge into the lower end of the large entrance chamber. The tunnel you've come through can only be seen while right next to it, as the angled view once you step back into the entrance makes the opening appear as a solid wall.
Sunlight from the cult camp floods through the opening of the cavern to the left.

Karib pauses in the doorway, letting his unconscious baggage slump to the ground out of sight of the sleeping person.
Among all of the items within the room, Smoke finds value in only 16 gold pieces.
For Yevele:
It seems like an educated guess to Yevele that the man is indeed in a drunken stupor. He seems much more unconscious than a typical sleep.
OOC: Added 4 gp to each character's inventory.

When the man seems unconscious, Karub frowns and drags his ward into the room. Frowning, he approaches the bed, examining the man's features.
He then bends down to examine him, wondering what might be afflicting him.

Rogram crosses to the nearest bottle and picks it up to see if anything is left inside. He sniffs it and wiggles the bottle.

(( @DM: Karib spent a while working as a smith in the camp. Has he ever seen this man before? ))
OOC: Sorry for forgetting that, thanks for reminding me. Was typing up in a hurry this morning.
Karib has not seen this man before.

Investigation: (passive 10)
Insight re past: (passive 17) + 1 (guidance)
The man snorts and shifts slightly as Karib rifles through his pockets, but remains asleep. He is carrying nothing of value, however.
OOC: Karib does not recall anything specific regarding this fellow.

Rogram throws a thumb over his shoulder. "Should we ask the kobold?"

Rogram joins Smoke. "Looks to me like the morning after a good party," the half-dwarf comments to the tabaxi. "Let's go see what's the other way."
