Thraxstares in awe as the dragon shrugs off the attacks. He turns his attention to the army and watches them closely, he points them out to his allies. "Keep eyes on the ground troops, if they assault the keep we need to make sure we fall back to a defensible position. We can't hold like this for long if we're assualted from the ground and the air!"
He fires off another Sacred Flame if the dragon gets within range.

Thia crouches down behind the parapet and cowers in fear, her hands over her head, trying to blank out the screams and shouts around her, to let her focus. Pull yourself together! You are no help to anyone in this state!
Smoke will step out into the open, watching the dragon and making sure he is in view of the dragon as well.
He will not try to goad it but show the dragon a bit of their numbers on the roof, and that we are not yet backing down. He will take out a dagger in both hands twisting the blades to catch a ray of light to make the blades shine. Lennithon is not eager to attack it seems. Stand strong and show the dragon we will not go down without hurting it.
With these words Smoke will try to lift the spirits of those on the roof, giving hope. And Smoke in turn will hope he is right about the dragon not wanting to risk getting harmed so a horde of kobolds can raid a town.

Despite the fact that the dragon has not come any closer, Thia still finds her heart racing and her legs shaking with fear. Lennithon keeps his distance, whirling back and forth around forty feet away, snorting a huff of static at Smoke's display of bravado. Along with another hail of bolts, Thrax finally strikes the creature with Gond's radiant flame, but the divine light is almost laughable in comparison to the dragon's sheer size, and it doesn't react in the slightest. Two more guards arrive at the top of the parapet, listening quickly to Nighthill's orders. Another guard shouts out, "I'm almost out!"
In the courtyard, things have calmed down slightly. Shouts of "Is it gone?" and similar sentiments ring out along with the accompanying lack of dragon attacks.
As the archers are still letting their arrows fly, Rogram assumes the answer to the question is yes. "The dragon is still out there," the half-dwarf responds, not trying to sound panicked or frustrated, but wanting the people to remain where they are and vigilant. "I am going to go up on the wall to find out what is happening. Stay here. I will return as soon as I can with an update." He then heads for the stairs and up as high as he can get this round.
Feeling somewhat useless on the top of the fortress with her darts, Yevele will head back down to the ground level and prepare to defend against the troops attacking the keep.
Seeing Yevele descending, and realising there is nothing she can do up here, Thia follows close on the monks heels. Maybe I’ll feel safer down there and be able to clear this fog from my head.
Seeing the numbers go down on the roof Smoke will stay up there and remain in sight, ready to quickly run for cover if the dragon decides to attack again.
If anything he will try to keep vision of what is happening outside and with the dragon to inform the others if needed.

Lennithon roars, the great dragon keeping its distance as another volley of bolts and flame comes its way. Only a couple bolts land, as does Thrax's flame.
"What is it doing?" "Why isn't it attacking?" Questions are muttered by the guards as they load another round of bolts, but Nighthill shuts them down. "Keep firing! If it breathes on us we're all dead!"
Once Thia is out of sight of the dragon, she begins to feel a bit sturdier on her feat. She and Yevele cross paths with Rogram as they descend the parapet while the dwarf is running up.
Thrax turns to his allies, “perhaps we can speak to it? Dragons are intelligent creatures, it must know of our defenses and numbers... maybe we can learn why it seems to serve the interests of this ugly lot.” He gestures over to the mob-like army which had the city under siege.

As he meets the females running down, Rogram stops them to inquire as to what is going on on the wall. They tell him nothing much, and he continues up, wondering if the dragon is being used as some kind of distraction. Once up top, he runs around the top of the wall, looking in all directions for approaching danger.
Thinking of nothing else that can stop this immense beast, Thraxresolves that they should at least try to reason with it. Summoning up as much courage as he can to overcome the overwhelming feeling of dread Thraxsays a quick prayer to Gond and then steps forward and takes a deep breath as he looks to address the Dragon as it flies by on its next pass. "Dragon!" He shouts "Why does one as mighty as you torment us so! Why is it you have come with this hoard to Greenest!"

"Grraaaah!" The dragon roars as it swings low toward the parapet, diving straight for Smoke and Thrax, who stand most prominently upon the balcony. It opens its mouth, wind pulling at the pair as it breathes in, but when it exhales, no breath emerges to strike destructively. Instead, the booming voice shouts, "Silence, flies! You are nothing!"
Before the guards arise, having ducked low and shrunk as much as feasible, Lennithon has turned away again. This time, the dragon does not wheel around, soaring off toward the mountains.
Even more strangely, Rogram does not see any raiders approaching. The skies and ground are clear, and the forces besieging the keep are also focused upward at the dragon.
Yevele will walk around the floor of the keep, trying to keep a confident appearance and nodding to any of the people looking her way.
After walking once around the keep, and hearing the dragon roar its challenge, Yevele will walk up to the gate and ask the guards if there are spy holes that allow them to look out at the raiders.
Thia breathes a deep sigh of relief as the dragon departs. Thank the gods for that. I've never felt so frightened in all my years. I need to take stock.
Thia begins to mill around the courtyard, finally stopping to take a look at each of the people huddled in there. She's specifically on the look out for Talis. Is there any sign of her friend?
Almost frozen in his tracks Smoke stands still as the dragon lands. As he draws breath he takes a small step forward to hold his balance with the wind pulling him forward.
His impulses almost drive him to respond to the dragons insult but Smoke realises he is currently no match for it and remains silent. With the dragon flying away again Smoke sighs Pfew that could have gone a lot worse Thrax. he says looking at his brave companion.
After a moment he will turn to view the raiders in the distance and watch their actions.
Theax looks on with terror as the Dragon approaches and let’s out its powerful roar. He braces himself for what he thought might be the end, and then exhales a huge sigh of relief when it turns elsewhere. “Surely it was the divine will of Gond that protected us this day! We mortals are no match for this beast, but Gond has protected us! Praise him!”

"Back to your posts. Keep a dozen on the tower at all times. If that thing comes in sight again I want to know about it," the governor calls out. He shakes his head before leaving. "That's twice the dragon has attacked in that fashion. We should all be dead right now," he mutters beneath his breath to the party that remains. "Thank you again for your aid."
At the gates, a returning guard answers Yevele, "No ma'am. Those stairs will take you atop the wall if you'd like. There are gaps there which should allow you to see to the west. We're blind elsewhere unless you're on the parapet."
For Rogram and Smoke:
The raiders, strangely, are staying put. They remain in a loose circle surrounding the keep, and their numbers seem to have slightly inflated over the hours. Certain sections of the besieging force seem to be moving restlessly, but none are closing in on the keep at the moment.
For Thia:
None of the faces you see in the courtyard are Talis. In fact, the vast majority of the townsfolk are human. You do see one half-elf, but it is the priest from the sanctuary that you helped rescue.
