Dartor speaks in a low tone in an effort to be quiet, " aye, you're right dragon, somethings off. And I agree, someone should scout ahead, I might struggle with stealth thanks to my armour so I don't think it should be me doing the scouting"
"Stealthing seems like a good idea. I'm happy to just let you go. No point us all risking our lives. And if it goes south, the three of us should be able to handle the three goblins from here"
DMs note: Just FYI, Akra also has heavy armor and would roll with disadvantage. Blade is a Halfling and has a +4 Stealth and Nordan is a Rogue and has +5 Stealth.
(Nordan goes up the corridor, using his stealthy skills, and comes to near the mouth of the tunnel. With his back to the wall, he manages to take a use a mirror to look around the corner. Something is there, just to the left: Not a Goblin or humanoid, but more likely a beast of some sort, from the dark fur you were able to see. The Goblins start to move around, so Nordan is forced to stop looking and come back to the party and inform them of what he saw.)
"Well, it doesn't look like we have much of a choice, unless one of you can think of a better idea," Akra says quietly. "Should we just rush in and fight them?"
She is glad that at least they now have a good idea of what they would be running into.
Dartor readies his axe, gripping tightly with both hands, "Aye, we have equal odds in numbers... but in force? well that's something we'd have to find out one way or another" He glances at Nordan," I want to hear the elfs choice of action, before we jump in".
nordan says we could try to find out what the beast is first or we could sneak attack with a distraction whats about while silently rummaging through his bag pulls out a bag of ball bearigs and says what if one of us throws one to the far end of the room and we could surprise attack or sneak pass it
DMs note: Just to clear a couple of your options up: 1 of you can sneak attack, but whoever does would have to get in front and would be the most likely person to get attacked. The slower you are to get out of the corridor, the greater danger you're in, as you can become trapped. There's other options that rely on your specific abilities, but I won't try to influence you all.
Akra nods. "Go ahead and make the first move then, Nordan," she whispers, resisting the urge to impatiently attack and give away their location with the sound of clinking armour. "My axes are waiting to knock out more goblins."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
nordan acknowledges akra and nods then he slips pass blade and sneaks towards were the beast was and peers around the corner with his bow like water draws his bow and lets the arrow fly
(Nordan sneaks back into the corridor and jumps out with his Bow and Arrow blazing! The arrow, unfortunately, misses wide of the beast that you now see is a Wolf! It starts growling aggressively, getting the attention of the other Goblins.)
"We're under attack!"
(The Goblins all grab their gear quickly as the rest of the party comes forward into the corridor.)
(sorry for the recent absence)

The Wolf is only about 5-10 feet from the entrance and the Goblins have moved so are about 40 feet away
