"Well, what if we are looking for trouble," calls a voice. Which is quickly followed by a soft thud, "Ouch!"

"Be quiet!", snaps another voice in a hushed tone.

Tagret tries to get a bearing on how far and the direction of the voices (are they apart, did it sound like they were on the ground or up higher in the trees themselves? Perception 6 ) before continuing with an assertive "Well, if you intend to do us harm then have at it....your death awaits" 

As he waits to see whether they act he will unsling his greataxe to have it ready after he lets fly with his javelin at the first person he sees that is not in cover (Readied action), noting that he will try to maintain cover himself

Hearing the conversation Damian will try to pinpoint them again.

Perception: 24

Tagret fails to figure out just where about in the trees they are. Though Damian does spot movement near one of threes near the ground (R4). Then he notices more movement by another tree (T4). Then everything is still. Nothing comes out of the tree line. The would be attackers remain in their hiding places.

Calling back to the others Tagret asks "Where are they?"

Rashana holds up her bo in a defensive stance and her eyes dart around. "I don't know. Wherever they are, I think they're coming toward us."

"I see movements there and there!" Damain spots movements and calles em out to Target. "Look if you're going to ambush us get on with it! If not then come out and quit playing these games!" Damian shouts out to who ever can hear us.

In response to the Damian's shouting eight goblins leap out of the trees, "Fine, have it your way."

Rashan immediately turns to the direction of the voice and readies herself for the battle.

Tagret did have a readied action of hurling his javelin - if you rule that this action can be taken as the goblins break cover then he lets fly at the nearest and then takes up his great axe to confront them calling to the others "Let's take at least one alive....."

Seeing the goblins, Tagret throws his javelin at the nearest goblin. The javelin soars through the air and strikes the goblin through the chest. It stands their loosing blood, close to death.

In response the eight goblins unleash a volley of bolts from their shortbows

Rashana - Attack: 15 Damage: 7 piercing damage
Saravena - Attack: 7 Damage: 5 piercing damage

OOC: Not sure if Tagret now gets to attack in initiative order, but will roll anyway

Ignoring the one he stuck with the javelin Tagret charges into their midst, seeking to disrupt their ability to use their bows, and swings hard at the nearest unwounded goblin, presumably they do not have any shields out....

Great Axe Attack: 22 Damage: 10

Tagret rushes in, and swings his great axe at one of the goblins. He catches it off guard and manages to decapitate the goblin.

Damain will cast Shield of Faith on himself then as his bonus action he will smash one of the Goblins in the face!

Rashana runs toward the goblins while dodging the arrows that are flying toward her. 

She spins around with her staff to build up forces using the momentum and hits one of the goblins on the head. Then she spins around the other direction and do a spinning kick on the head.
