"A dragon-slaying blade eh? That certainly sounds like it would be useful for our current troubles. I hate to dig up old graves, little good seems to come out of them, but this sword might be an exception." He takes a sip as he listens to Nimue. "Well I think the real question to ask Nimue is why there are only great warriors going to slay dragons and never wizards." He laughs a bit here.
"Then you've faced the dragon already!?" Halia replies, her face expressing shock but hiding intrigue. "Hmm...Don-Jon was also investigating something related to our current threat before the last mission...I do hope we can confirm whether he is still alive..." she continues.
Halia turns to one of the town militia. "Have dragon sightings been witnessed in his area?" she asks.
The man looks up from his food and stands. "No, ma'am!" he replies with a standing salute. This is followed by his wiping off a bit of food that was running down his chin from his lip.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Well if we have not seen the Dragon here, it is possible that Don Jon was able to slay the beast!" Nimue laughs a bit a the idea. "Well I guess our only option is to find a shiny sword."
Nimue then turns around and says to Leo "That's probably cause good wizards pass down their knowledge and artifacts instead of selfishly burying them with them. Weapons on a corpse don't help anyone... Oh except necromancers. "Nimue leans in closer and whispers "Which is also wizards..."
Nimue then leans back up and walks out towards the front entrance. Time permitting, she will send Magis and Numquam on scouting missions in a few mile radius to see if there are any signs of the Dragon.

Nimue looks at Leo and says "Oh you poor thing. Little lion... Do I look like a wizard to you? I understand magic is not your forte, but the wizard world was never for me. Somethings are just not meant to be. The raven queen holds many artifacts beyond our power. I will please her one day, and then I will gain her trust to use her relics."
"Oh... You are right. I have never been one much for magics. So the raven queen gives you power? A cleric then? Like Dusty? The Raven Queen certainly sounds like a mighty power."
Nimue looks at Dusty briefly before looking back at Leo. She squints her eyes and says "Yes. Exactly like Dusty except without all the boring parts like praying and 'Tempus this'" Nimue jesters her hands in the air "'Tempus that'" She laughs to herself and says "What about you lion? Is your echo your attempt at magic?"
" One of these days I will get a hang on the names of all the gods and powers of these lands." He drinks and takes a few bites as he listens to Nimue's reply and question." To be honest I don't really know what it is. All those years ago when we came through the gate into this world and the god Heliod intervened with our escape. I ran back into the portal to try to hold it open for the other half of my tribe to make it through into the world, but the door of destiny slammed shut upon me all the same. Ever since I can sense them. These parts of me that might be, decisions that I could make. Sometimes even parts of me that are already ahead of me, in the future. I can reach out and make them real, bring them to where I am. And take their place even. Honestly, I'm still figuring out how it all works."
Nimue looks as confused as Leo trying to explain it... "Well the world is a mysterious place... Where did we put that helm?" Nimue will retrieve the helm and put it on. "How do I look?" she asks as she turns around to the group.
Nimue pulls out her wand and casts some fire works. She turns to Leo and says "Well I was never a good at entertaining people. Maybe it is best if they stay away from me..."
The festivities continue late into the night. The adventurers eventually retire in the bedrooms above, now made more hospitable by the Stonehill Inn staff.
Magis reports to Nimue that there is no sign of the dragon. Storm clouds have also obscured its vision. Numquam eventually makes it back to Nimue in the middle of the night. "Squawk squawk," it says, reporting mostly the same.
...
The next day, the heroes set out for the Dragon Barrow in accordance with Halia's directions. A cold wind blows from the coast assails them for most of the trip, bringing occasional rain. They eventually make it to the rolling hills and grasslands between the High Road and Neverwinter Wood.

A thirty-foot-high hill rises ahead of you, its top too flat to be a natural occurrence. Jutting from the grassy hilltop is a row of ten-foot-tall, bone-white rocks that arc toward the stormy sky like outstretched talons.
Nimue looks at the area and says "Eyes in the sky, Magis!" Magis will leave her shoulder and turn invisible as he flies into the air in an attempt to get a better view and a sense of direction on where to go.
From its aerial view, Magis can see that the barrow has a distinctive dragon-like shape. The pale rocks resemble spikes protruding from the dragon's back.
The sun starts to go down as the adventurers make it up the hill. In the distance near one of the stones, they can see flying balls of light circling around.
The grass rustles as Krash approaches, causing the glowing orbs to retreat - seemingly into the ground below the stone.
Krash makes his way to the stone, noticing that there is an opening beneath the base of the rock. It looks as if it could be toppled with a significant show of strength.

Leo pipes up interested. " Is that so? What powerful artifacts have been passed down to you them Nimue by the great wizards of the past?"

"Yes, I surely know that."
Leo is actually a little started by Nimue's appearance. " You look quite formidable and intimidating. Is that what you were going for?"
Nimue pulls out her wand and casts some fire works. She turns to Leo and says "Well I was never a good at entertaining people. Maybe it is best if they stay away from me..."
Leo chuckles, " You are intriguing if not entertaining, but I think that is for you to decide. Or your queen."
Torin walks by and gives Nimue a staredown.

with catlike finesse, krash crouches low as he approaches the glowing orbs careful to stay hidden in the shadows.

the monk calls out to dusty with a low grunt and motions at the rock.
”willing to demonstrate that old man strength?”
krash will help dusty with the rock
" A good test for those new gauntlets." Leo will say, moving to where he can watch and help if needed.
Dusty slaps the gauntlets together and stows his mace and shield.
”Let’s see what these babies can do.”
”Tempus guide me... Dusty whispers.
Dusty gets low and shoves the rock.
