To join, you need a Level 1 PC and a Minecraft account. The reason for the account is because we meet on the Hypixel server, on a Housing.

The Half-Tabaxi subclass, by Walrock Homebrew on DMsguild (Pay What You Want for the entire product) gives the following racial traits:
+1 Charisma & Any Other Score
+30ft Speed
+Medium Size
+1 Language

Credit to Walrock Homebrew for Half-Tabaxi, there are four other awesome Tabaxi subraces in that product too, so I’d recommend checking it out.
The novelization of the campaign has begun!! *laughs* I’ve decided to try and make the Curse Of Strahd campaign into a novel, and I’ll post it chapter-by-chapter here occasionally for you to read. I’m only an amatuer writer (i’ve written a few short stories and things, but that’s really it), so it might not be *too* good compared to Mortal Engines & things, but it’s something!
Anyway, enough jabber, here’s the first little bit. I’ll try and have more up by tomorrow night.
Chapter 1
The dense fog swallowed the small village of Hets Hallow, a sharp wind cutting through any defense worn to stop it. Glowing lanterns floated above the barely visible gravel street, doing little to keep the creeping mists at bay. Shadows of buildings loomed on either side of the path, rectangular portals to warmth marking the presence of life in the otherwise silent riverside town. Very occasionally a door opened, the sounds of cheerful laughing, boots dancing, and glasses clinking floating out into the night to deny the gloominess wished by the environment, before closing to keep the happiness alive.
Stepping through this door revealed the tavern called The Tipsy Tiefling, a humble establishment set up by the well known bard Tempo after her retirement six years ago. A bar stretched the back of the bar, curving around to the west side before stopping at a small performance stage. A grizzly leonine tabaxi manned the bar, his large mane fading silver from age to match the drinks he poured. A cheery tiefling with aqua skin and solid orange eyes sung and danced at the stage, her tail reminiscent of cascading waves at it swung around. Oval tables stood a few feet from each other, their occupants varying wildly from the last. At one sat a drunk party of dwarves clad in spiked armor, singing a drinking song as they swayed back and forth; twin half-elves sat huddled, black cloaks acting as shadows as they whispered to each other; an owl aarakocra claiming victory after victory in an arm wrestling championship, a wide grin splashed across his face.
Near the back of the tavern, by the staircase leading up to the rooms, was a lone tiefling scribbling words madly in a owlbear-leather-bound journal. Her magenta hair fell down her back in a long ponytail, ending a few inches from where her tail began, her horns spiraling up out of the dark pink. Next to her was a young adult female, blue eyes peeking out from under her short cyan hair, which was pierced with catlike ears, acting as horns of her own. A large puff of a tail fell from underneath her jacket, falling off the stool and grazing the ground. A few tables away, near the door, was a high elf flipped through a heavy tome displaying various conjuration spells, his blonde hair pulled into a bun to avoid getting in the way of his reading, a hooded cloak fallen over his shoulders. And finally, at a table in one of the few shadows the tavern had to offer, was a teenage girl, her grey eyes staring at the few inches granted by the fog out the window, a raven perched on her shoulder like a fragment of shadow come to make friends. Her dusty red hair was pulled back in a loose pony that fell to the base of her neck, her legs hovering a few inches above the hardwood floor.
The door opened forcefully for a foot, which stepped to the ground to carry a large man, wearing multicolored clothes that fell in folds around him, his hat askew over his eyes, hiding them from sight. He brought with him the silence from outside, cut only by the heavy thumps of his booted footsteps and the jingle of coins in a sack strapped to his belt. He beelined to the table containing the tiefling and the girl, stopping a few inches away with his arms folded tightly.
“I have come to deliver this message to a Michiru Kagemori, a Wren, a Lauricie Veldesha, and an April.” He announced in an accented voice, staring down at the tiefling and the girl. “You are them, I suppose?”
“Yep, I’m Wren.” The tiefling nodded. “I’m assuming this is Michiru, that’s April, and that’s Lauricie, although I’ve never met them before now and are basing these guesses on looks only.” She pointed to the girl next to her, her ears perked up; the girl in the corner, who had turned her gaze to the man; and the elf, who watched the scene curiously.
“Excellent. If you be creatures of honor, then you will come to my master’s aid at first light. It is not advisable to travel the Svalich Woods at night!” The man pulled a sealed letter from his tunic and slammed it onto the table, the wood creaking from the force. “Take the west road from here some five hours march through the Svalich Woods. There you will find my master in Barovia.” The man stepped back, around, and over to the bar. He pulls the bag heavy with coins from his belt and drops it onto the counter. “Fill their glasses, one and all. Their throats are obviously parched.” With that, he turns on his heel and leaves the room, taking the quiet with him. The dwarves immediately stood and lined up at the bar, continuing their song, the half-elves quietly slinked upstairs, the aarakocra challenged a goliath migrating to the bar, and April & Lauricie transferred tables to join Michiru & Wren. The four stared down at the ruby wax sealing the letter shut, the strange stamp containing the adventure of a lifetime.
As requested, I've put together the theme's lyrics and will add the tune on tomorrow (piano notes marked up in an edit) — but I've finished the lyrics and I'm really happy with how they turned out after a 10-15 minute effort, most of which was figuring out the last couple lines. Without further ado, I introduce to you the CoS OP - Unnamed as of yet, but share your ideas.
--------
Into the forests where wildflowers bloom And wolves rip to shreds under slivers of moon Humming along to the beat and the melody of hearts with nothing to lose
Mourn in the halls filled with grey light warped glass Cry for the years now three hundred have passed Cling to the present as time slips away too fast
Waltz with death itself and come out with nary a scratch Follow the roads, wolf, take your old life back Know you're a traitor but save another nonetheless Steel your heart with words and know that music's all you have left One more bullet point there's so much left to learn about The breezes won't listen, find the wind and give a shout Silence eats up ev'ry word it's your chance to break it now
Although it may take more than blood You'll find a way to get out
--------
Hopefully this can be mixed with other instruments, it's likely this is more of a soft song with increasing intensity in the third section and a sudden stop a few beats after the end of the last line. Here's how I did it: the first couple "paragraphs" are quick versions that set the scenes of what we've done so far, and the third has a basic idea of all the different characters (one per line, the last two in p. 3 being general). Mind you, this spewed out of my brain while washing my hands and staring out the completely dark kitchen window and was written on a creative high lasting approximately 20 minutes.
I’ll try and get the church organ bits today (that’s a must), plus also the kazoo (for that, I’m thinking something a bit mischievous, like the beginning of Birthday Party, but a bit more spoopy and halloweeny) and other.. things? A bit of synth, maybe?
Also, I *might* try and make an animation for the intro (I like to think I can animate & draw, xD), and I have a few ideas if I do.

Will not be able to make it tonight, power's gone out all through my region
In a twist of events, I'll probably be out of the house until... 7 pm? Maybe? I'm not really going to be able to make it today
Will not be able to make it to today's session, on a call at 2 and then leaving the house for a few hours right after
I'm not going to be able to make it tonight, the number of events in today's schedule just shot through the roof
Hey Mei, schedule just filled up, I'm going to have to miss today's session
Edit: scratch that, I was looking at the wrong schedule
