Hello Everyone, 

I really haven't been very good on keeping promises lately. Things have come up in my personal life that have required me to take a leave from D&D Beyond for a couple weeks. I'm glad to say that I'm back now, and I haven't forgotten about you guys. Is anyone interested in continuing the campaign? 

I am interested! No worries - it's been a rough few weeks, for me as well.

So, is the party choosing to take a short rest outside of the Hideout? And if so, are you doing anything before so? 

I think so.  Nothing else for me.

We've left quite a few bodies lying around. Do we risk getting caught tossing them all into the crevasse to hide the fact we've been inside or just leave them where they are and go get some rest?

I think the fact that they’re gone will be just as conspicuous, so it’s not really worth it.

Hey guys, 

It's been a while- a few months- since I was last on the forums. And while I was struggling to keep the campaign alive back then, it was never my intention to just abandon it. I remember LordShadowThorn mentioning that he disliked when DM's "just disappear off the face of the planet without saying anything." That's exactly what I did. I believe you guys deserve an explanation as for why. 

Mentally, I wasn't in a good place for the last few months. While I did want to continue the campaign, I was facing other difficulties in my life which I was dealing with in unhealthy ways. While I've managed to pull things back together now, it's been a while since I had to confidence to return to D&D Beyond. Well, here I am. 

It's been my dream to bring this campaign to a solid conclusion, or perhaps even finish it. I don't know how many of you are willing to continue as well, and I perfectly understand if you don't want to. But if you do want to keep playing, just let me know here.

No worries—I totally understand.  I’m game to keep going if the others want to, but I’m also fine just stopping it here.

I need to apologize as well for my ghosting. My son's surgery in October had complications and everything that wasn't critical to his care or just the process of living was set aside by my family. We are just getting some level of normalcy back in our lives 6 months later. He still has a long road to recovery; but we are starting to move forward now.

I have rejoined one campaign I was in and would enjoy picking this one back up, if that was acceptable.

I'm glad to hear you're in a better space (both of you). There are a few campaigns that just ended and I removed my character after a couple of weeks, but for some reason could never bring myself to doing that to this one, even months later.

Might take a little bit to remember what was going on here but I'm in if everyone else is.
