Nivlen notices that Thurk is not engaging the enemy. He will use his movement to keep pace with Thurk. He will NOT yell out to the goblins but will be surveying the path and environs for usable crossbow bolts. He will ready an attack action to unarm attack any enemy that gets within 5'.
Elelyel is a little surprised at Thurk ignoring the band, making her wonder even more about what he has on the ship. She hefts her greataxe but keeps pace with him. She glances around to see where the rest of her party is. "Two per. Not bad. Wonder how many we'll collect."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If any goblins are within range and they looks like they are coming for us, then Elrik will Hex (STR) the lieutenant if within 90ft and throw a stone at the closest goblin 15 dealing 7 on a hit.
Sorry guys, been sleeping off a nasty toothache(bit down on a piece of candy the other day and heard it crack...this sucks...) for the better part of yesterday/today, ill try to hop on tonight and get some stuff posted for ya. Didn't want ya to think I forgot about ya, now I'm going to apply more Orajel back to sleep.
Ok guys I'm back in the game, sorry for the delay. As a side note, my teeth suck, and I apparently need a bunch of em yanked. Boo. Was hoping to at least make it to 40 years old before I needed dentures, oh well. Brush your teeth good, kids! Lol. Gotta hop on my desktop and post the lowtown map, and refresh myself to see what everybody is doing about goblins/stair-noises. It's raining pretty good here, so I should be home all morning, able to respond to posts fairly quickly, hopefully everyone is still into it.
Currently, at the LowTown docks, a group of 11 goblin minions(miniGobs) and their Hobgoblin Lt. has noticed the PC's making their way to the ship FCS Crowe (1 square=appx 5ft, I had previously stated 600ft to the boat, that was inaccurate, didnt realize i had changed my map scale when i used the measuring tool at first, so it's around 100 foot to the docks, and around 70 feet past that to the ship itself. If the PCs move along side Thurk the mindflayer at 30 ft per round, thats only 5-6 rounds of movement to get to the boat, not ten to twenty, if they dash, they can make it in just 3 rounds, Thurk will run to the boat with the rest of the party if they choose to do so.)
Although the map doesnt show it, the cliff side is filled with terraced walkways and fishermen's shacks, and several fishmonger stalls line the edge of the cliff and the pier. This is where the goblins have been busy setting fire and raiding. Most of the citizens of Androll are already gone from the area, having fleed for their lives.
Meta-Reminder/Update: EVERY ROUND (originally going to say 'every other round, but adjusted distance renders that moot) 1d10+2 miniGobs will appear on scene, 2-40 feet away from the PCs. The PCs can outpace the minions easily, so it is possible to get to the ship without engaging the miniGobs, if the they so choose. Any groups of enemies who are not killed before the PCs reach the boat will pursue the group at 20 ft/round, with their LT. behind them. All the groups of goblins have an initiative score of 2, and LTs have a score of 1, So PC's will always have the opportunity to act before the enemy in this combat scenario.
I think that sums it up, going to check for everyone's actions, and then post a round 1 summary if I have everyone's move(pretty sure i do)
Mallus, still mostly silent, is looking down the stairs, checking for traps, Perception 17
Mallus notices there are a few(3) large rat-traps laid out on the top few steps of the stairs leading down to the sewers(where you hear the scratching noises). They shouldn't be any harm to you, as long as you dont step on them.
Not slowing down, Tlak-Shik paces Thurk, easily avoiding the pesky rat traps. He thinks to the others, A wise hunter knows when hunt and when to seek better hunting ground. Not to mention it is hard to combat an infestation without the right tools. There is an old saying in my country: When you are up to your schlick-tik in flesh-eating lizards it is hard to remember you were trying to drain the bilges.

Ai'ryn will stay back and survey the room, looking for anything that may be usable to barrier off the stairs with.
Investigation: 17
You notice a table against the nearby wall, it looks as though it would fit across the width of the staircase nicely if you turned it on it's side. You also notice a few(4) unlit candles on the table, and a small tinderbox.
In case i didn't actually mention it before(last few days are a bit of a blur of pain meds, lol) BLUE denotes the Lowtown Group, GREEN is the group in the catacombs, just so i dont have to keep specifiying. I don't remember whose idea it was, but thanks! makes it a little easier to keep track of the action (i hope).
As you make your way past the trinkets and baubles left for the dead, the hall leads in a curve to the north. A set of double doors exits the room to the north, into a open hall filled with rows of chairs. A pedestal stands near the middle of the of the room, ready to hold the next departed soul's empty vessel during their memorial service. On the east side of the hall is a dark stairwell leading down, no doubt to the sewers beneath the temple. More Alcove's line the west wall, and a ten foot wide corridor leads north out of the room. From the stairs, a faint scratching sound can be heard, as though something is scuffling about partway down.
Righteousness makes motions to the party, warning them quietly that there's something coming down the stairs. something not human. he quickly lets out a divine sense ping and gets to cover where the creature can't see him, but he can see it. divine sense: 16 stealth: 2
The Paladin looks to the rest of the the group, thinking he is being sneaky, and says"SHHHHHHHHHHH!" loudly. (sorry, i couldnt help myself)
His divine sense detects no undead or otherworldly presence, indicating whatever they are hearing is most likely something rather mundane.

hating his mouth for that, he quietly makes hand motions to the party below to keep away from the stairs, and make their way to the other side of the room, he'll take rearguard action and position should worst come to worst.
