Init order reminder: Nivlen, Elelyel, Elric, TlakShik, Jhoni, Mini-Gobs(The Hobgoblin and Bugbear are still too busy directing the chaotic little green monsters to attack directly themsleves)
MetaGaming Note: I know it's not strictly RAW, but since this scene is pretty much a chase scene, I'm going to assume that all combat actions actually take place simultaneously within the movements of all parties. So unless any of you specifies that you want to break away from the group, you'll all move 30 feet down the stairs toward the docks and the ship while performing whatever actions you declare. The groups of goblins continue to pursue the group 20 feet each turn, attacking with melee weapons only if they reach the party after their movement, even as the new ones appear from around corners and inside buildings. Initiative order still applies in regards to whose action takes place first, additional goblin groups will share the same initiative as the first group(they go last).
Since I'm finding a combat like this one a bit more difficult to resolve than when i ran it at a table, I'm going to simplify it a bit, hopefully this makes sense:
In order to avoid making a few dozen attack rolls each turn, each group of goblins will attack with one roll (to hit) and a percentage die (to see how many of them made the hit) For each hit they'll roll a damage die (d6)and distribute it accordingly to the PCs individually. This is meant to give the impression that you probably shouldn't let them catch up to you, as a group of these things could tear a PC apart pretty quickly with these "Nickle and Dime" attacks. Also, as a reminder, I'm not keeping track of these kills, make sure to mark your xp as you go, honor system is in play on this one, i trust you guys to be cool about it(I mean, who really cheats at D&D? What would the point be? LOL)
I'll be back on later tonight, hoping for lots of goblin killing! One last thing; the last map of Lowtown above is after movement, not before, the group is around 110 feet from the ship at this point if they continue down the stairs and across the docks.
"Yeah I'm being careful, it's not often you see tattooed rats appear - I'm thinking that I might be able to communicate with it so it will let us past without harm, if they're not going vto be hostile I don't see the point in harming animals needlessly"
OCC Are there any rocks, rubble or other projectile like objects lying around?
If there are any throwable things lying around, Tlak-Shik will start throwing them at the Bug Bear.
Attack: 12 Damage: 3
If there is nothing, he will not slow down. "To ship!"
Elric offers his magical stones for others like Tlak-Shik to use while also tossing one at an enemy withing 60ft 27 dealing 10 magical bludgeoning damage on hit.
((magic stones are +7 to hit and deal 1d6 Magical Bludgeoning damage))
Ai'ryn watches Tegid intently, not sure why he's trying to talk to rats.
"I suppose since they're leaving us alone, we may as well leave them alone. It's probably more important we spend our time finding Mib, and conserving our energy for whatever else may be down there, then bothering with rats."

Hey guys ill be on later to post stuff, sorry been a hectic week, had to play a lot of catch up on the farm the last few days, just been too burnt out by the end of the day.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lowtown Stairs, Round 2 recap:
Nivlen half clambers/half is pulled up to Elelyel's shoulders, balanced at his hips(free action on the part of both Nivlen and Elelyel's efforts combined). He has free range with his hands to use his crossbow with his magical bandoleer, and since he is elevated well above the heads of the goblins, he gets advantage on the first attack each round. He is attempting to target the [Hobgoblin?, Bugbear?] lieutenant{ooc i need attack rolls for these.}
Elelyel, conversly, is now carrying a person acoss one shoulder, and because of this, gets disadvantage on attack rolls and dex saves. She fires off a firebolt and [hits?misses?, will edit in...]
Elric Throws one of his magic stones, hitting another goblin dead.(I Think? if not, please let me know if i read the page wrong, lol)
Jhoni sticks a dart into a goblin, killing it, and TlakShik throws one of Elric's stones as well. Thurk follows suit, each stone strikes another goblin dead.
Apologies, time zones and shift work make prompt posting challenging. Jhoni will keep pace with Thurk and will sacrifice another dart to thin out the goblin horde forming. Attack: 14 Damage: 4
another dead goblin minion!

Round ?
If Nivlen is hoisted in a way that allows, he would like to shoot over the heads of the goblins, aiming at their leaders.
(DM will need to let me know if I can get more than one shot off in a round and confirm the shot(s) are with disadvantage, if possible at all.)
