When Anzir strides up to the table of Commander Breakbone then Sister Cyas loses all color in her face. Ord takes a step closer, but Perne does not. She says in a very raspy voice, "Three got eaten by a very large dinosaur, one disappeared into the night and the last two are in the medical tent." She coughs and spits something large and red to the ground. "I have... recovered."
She pulls aside one of the flaps of the tent and Breakbone points towards the door. As Anzir takes a look he can see several people standing outside the tent a few feet away. Another thing he immediately notices is most of them pointing a crossbow towards him and his group. Undril gasps audibly.
Poole steps up to Sister Cyas and leads her outside, Aurok follows and so do the rest. The tent is actually surrounded by fighters who step aside as you make your way through the circle. Sister Cyas takes you to one of the medical tents next to the main one and Poole asks her questions.
She replies, "Everyone is doing their best and this is no unnatural thing. Unless the whole damned jungle is cursed. Niles... Command Breakbone is doing his best, but we lack all kinds of resources to do anything by slowly wither away."
The tent has 6 cots, all of them filled. One patient is fully tied down, the other five are not restrained but instead in various stages of lethargy. Between all of them they could possibly prove a match to a large duck at best. The is almost no medical supplies in sight. Sister Cyas continues pointing to the restrained patient, "She used to be better, but we had to tie her down yesterday. Don't really know what to do with her in this state. The rest of them all have in common that they went swimming in the river over the last couple of weeks. Then came down with whatever this is. They are not the first - we have lost three people to this before and some have recovered, including Perne."
"The other tent has 5 people and we know what happened to them. We had a swarm of giant hornets come through a few days ago and they got stung. The effect is blurred vision, disorientation and drop in body temperature. They are shivering even throughout the hotter days."
She slumps down on a small stump and hides her face in her hands. "I have done everything I can."
Irma just stares at this bleak scene and is speechless at this point.
(Anzir has an option to continue the conversation with Commander Breakbone or follow the others)
Anzir makes no move to aggress. Seeing the soldiers prepare out of the corner of his eye, he merely straightens himself, saying, "It's time you admit you all are in over your head."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Undril just shakes her head and sighs, "You should have just asked."
She goes to each of the lethargic people, holds their hand and prays silently. They all react in their own way, but life returns to their eyes visibly. "They will need to rest a few days, but the sickness is gone." She examines the restrained person and says, "I might be able to help her .. and the people in the other tent tomorrow."
Irma says, "I might be able to help a couple of them today." You all follow a very thankful Sister Cyas to the other medical tent and Irma uses similar magic to rid two people of disease who seemed to have the worst symptoms. They calm down visibly and fall into a restorative sleep.
Sister Cyas calls over Ord and Perne who were observing this from afar and converses with them. You can see her smiling face pointing your way several times and hear the name "Undril" mentioned repeatedly.
Perne goes back into the command tent. Qawasha walks up to you and says, "I thought you were dead for sure when they started to gather around with weapons drawn..."
"AIRBORNE, SOUTH SIDE. WASPS!!".. a shout can be heard from the southeast watchtower. You can see a woman and a man point their longbows over the wall and take a shot, then start leaping down the stairs.
Attack: 5 Damage: 7
Attack: 19 Damage: 5
You don't see anything just yet, but a slight droning sound can be heard approaching from the south.

The camp erupts into organized chaos as everyone rushes to find cover. Spears are tossed to people who previously had only swords and shields and attention is fully directed to the oncoming attack.
A gargantuan (for a bug) fly-like creature is the first to crest the wall, easily double the size of a fully grown eagle. It dives down to one of the terrified goats and (15) pierces it with an appendage.
Another such creature crests the wall near the west end of the camp and dives down to the first available target, a veteran fighter hiding next to the watch tower (8). She manages to redirect a similar appendage with her shield and is readying herself to fight this monstrosity.
Three giant wasps follow along the middle section of the southern wall, but don't make it all the way to a target as everyone in that area has backed away and taken some kind of cover.
Three giant wasps are in the air near the south wall, about 7 feet off the ground heading towards the tents. Two different monstrous bugs are hovering in the air as well, one in the goat pen in the southeast area and one next to the southwest watchtower.
Everyone is up!
People with stealth checks 11 or higher can consider themselves hidden.
Aurok runs out of cover, pulling a bit of rotting food from a jar in the pouch at his waist. He whispers words of arcane power and an [Tooltip Not Found] is conjured in the direction of the three wasps flying in the air near the south wall.

He then assumes his odd stance with the scimitar. Keeping his elbows high as he prepares for enemies to come his way.

Anzir unstraps his war pick and charges at one of the wasps. He lines them up as best he can, then blasts them with his fire breath (5' x 30') for 8 fire damage on a failed DEX(13) save. Half damage on a success. As a bonus action, he casts Compelled Duel (WIS(12) save) on the wasp that is the second-closest to him.
Poole targets the farthest-away wasp with her shortbow, tongue between teeth, and releases her arrow from what she thinks is a decent hiding spot.
Attack: 18 Damage: 9 plus 8 sneak attack damage
She'll then dart between two of the sleeping tents and attempt to hide again with her bonus action. She'll try to do this within about 25 feet of Anzir if possible, since he seems to be goading wasps to attack him, and the poor fool might need some backup.

Dex saves of wasps against fire breath: 7,11, 22
Irma runs towards the southeast corner, aiming to assist the fighter engaged with the monstrous bug. She casts Toll the Dead on it for 1 damage on WIS12 save (17).
Undril sends a Guiding Bolt at the other one attacking the goat: Attack: 14 Damage: 20
It takes a solid hit and glows with bright light and then the goat it attacked falls over dead. Its chests bursts open and 2 huge bloody maggot crawls out of it and jumps at the next goat (11), attaching to the belly of it and chewing itself halfway inside.
The monstrous bug flies directly at one of the tribal warriors on top of the gatehouse, this time just biting it twice: Attack: 19 Damage: 3. The warrior tries to angle himself defensively around one of the wooden posts holding up the roof, but has no idea of the reach of this thing attacking him. The bug quickly stretches itself around the post and rips out half the neck of the poor warrior. It then jumps the next one: Attack: 21 Damage: 7, but she's already halfway down the hatch in the floor and manages to avoid the gruesome fate of her fellow. The bug now has half cover from anyone on the ground outside the tower.
The other bug at the southeast corner will switch to biting as well: Attack: 10 Damage: 7, Attack: 8 Damage: 9, but it's up against a veteran fighter who so far is able to rely on her reflexes even against this unknown foe.
She takes a quick look around to see this fight getting attention and decides to focus on Dodging instead of dealing damage, positioning herself to the side of the bug to open up avenues of attack.
Same with the other bug, adding in a few crossbow bolts as well: Attack: 6 Damage: 2, Attack: 23 Damage: 3, Attack: 18 Damage: 2, Attack: 15 Damage: 2, Attack: 9 Damage: 2, Attack: 14 Damage: 4, Attack: 5 Damage: 2, Attack: 21 Damage: 5, Attack: 22 Damage: 11, Attack: 23 Damage: 16, Attack: 20 Damage: 7.
Both are hurt, the one on top of the gatehouse badly.
Many spears are thrown also against the three wasps, but they all sizzle and smoke and with an arrow sticking out from one of it fall dead.
The droning in the air should have lessened, but instead it intensifies. 6 more wasps make their way over the wall and going for the nearest targets, half for Anzir and half for Aurok.

Anzir swings back at the wasp, but it bobbing up and down in the air makes it difficult to hit.
Aurok shows what he is capable of, employing magic to block majority of the attack. He cuts one of the wasps in half and prepares to face the other two. (The acid isn't affecting any creatures at the moment, the three that got hit all went down in the first round.)

Poole on the other hand tracks the movement of the monstrous bug on top of the gatehouse and lets loose just as it's deciding what to do next and hits it exactly in the head. Given the angle and the power of the shot it's pinned right under the roof of the gatehouse, hanging limp.
The other big bug at the southwest watchtower tries once more to lay eggs inside the fighter facing it: 21, but she is prepared in the defensive stance and avoids it easily.
The single maggot borrows it's way fully into the goat, which screams horribly and then dies. The maggot exits from near where the heart was and is looking for a new target.
Some heavy crossbows thrum and several bolts shoot towards both the bug and the wasps (2 for bug, 5 for separate wasps): Attack: 14 Damage: 4, Attack: 23 Damage: 12, Attack: 21 Damage: 9, Attack: 18 Damage: 11, Attack: 14 Damage: 9, Attack: 17 Damage: 7, Attack: 4 Damage: 5.
