Gotur, your staff has so much velocity that it actually cuts the last centipede in half. All of the centipedes and centipede-halves have fallen back down into the water below. *splash * splash *
"There could be hidden passages in these rooms. Shall we quickly search for any, or should we go back?" Venovar will start looking for any irregularities in the surfaces of the walls and the floor.
Yep. Alton will search the furniture for any valuable items on the furniture, and ask the rest of the group on their interest levels of going down/up the well shaft.
”What do you guys think about the well. Is it worth to explore further?”
Venovar, you don't find any irregularities in the well room walls or floor, other than the gaping hole in the ceiling which seems to lead outside.
Alton, the tableware for the most part is ruined, but you do find a few plates which seem to be made of tarnished silver. With some polish and care, the plate set would be worth at least 50gp at a merchant in the city, you assume from your... experiences in life.
Gotur, you scan the room. You hear more birds chirping from outside, which you likely quite enjoy (if I am learning Gotur correctly, I think he'd very much like the songbirds). You do get a good idea as to the depth of the well. It's about 50 feet deep, and the water below seems to be deep because you can't see the bottom. Or, it's just dirty. You're not sure.
(Each of you feel Thorvin's aiding magical energies as you perform your checks. Nice!)
Gotur smiles at the birds, especially after the rather less friendly wildlife down here.
"It's about 50 ft to the water, and who knows how much after that. I'd be more suited to helping Thorvin with the rope than going down myself.", he says, slapping his belly.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Our job is done, but I feel no reason as to why you should go down the well with the dead centipedes. I mean, there could be something down there, but the odds are low. Let me try to look down the well." Venovar will look over the well and see if he can see anything at the bottom.
Venovar, you stumble. When you try to use the well to catch your balance, one of the bricks comes loose. You almost topple right into the well, but manage to use your other arm to stop yourself at the last moment.
You don't even get a good look because of all of that. You only see the water and some floating giant centipedes.
"BY THE GODS!" he exclaims as he catches himself and his breath. He then gets on his knees and whispers a small prayer to Helm. Afterwards, he turns to the party and says "I'm aright; I don't know why I was so reckless in looking down the well. I am sorry. Let us... go back."
Thorvin says: "Aye, I think we have done all the damage we ca do. I too think it is time to go back and talk to Glowkindle. We do need to keep our eyes open for anything else on the way back though."
(Alton, did you take that set of silver plates in the well room?)
You all breathe a sigh of relief (mostly Venovar!) as he pulls back from the well, and you all return back to the cellar entrance, back through the mosaic hallway.
You push open the hatch, and return to Glowkindle, the owner of the establishment. You see him bustling about in the brewery, serving clients and helping his bar tends as it looks quite busy right now. It is approximately 4 in the afternoon, and the brewery is getting ready for the switch over to the evening proceedings where they serve complete meals to its patrons. You assume it took roughly 2 hours down in the cellar and subsequent buried wizards tower.
"Ah yes! My hired help! Damn it seems ye just left, although I've been runnin' around like a gnome with its head cut off since y'all been down there... happy hour is nearin' so it's getting qutie busy lads! Anyhow, glad to see ye back."
Glowkindle only now gets a good look at you all after his rambling. He sees the vast amount of rat blood all over you, as well as some other various goo's. "Good lord, are ye all ok??? Is that your blood or the vermin's? I trust those gosh darn creatures are dealt with? What did ye find down there??"
The gnome looks at you all with wide eyes after he finishes his ramblings.
(You have all reached level 2! Feel free to level up your character and converse with Glowkindle, and in the meantime I will set up the hook and intro for our next adventure. Do you all still want to continue?)
(OOC): Sure I would love to continue, and yes, I forgot to mention the fact that Alton grabbed the plates.
Ok the way back up from the cellar, Alton will pop his second good berry in his mouth to top himself up.
”Yeah. We met a whole menagerie of things down there. Rats, centipedes, spiders, and even some wizard skeleton. I think the main problem was a spilt growth potion in one of the rooms that the animals were getting their hands on. We’ve got a couple of items you may be interested in,” Alton says as he turns to the rest of the group, “did I leave anything out?”
((I leveled up taking average HP, and am going Circle of the Moon. Do the Giant Rats, Centipedes and Spider count as Giant versions for purposes of wild shaping?))
((Edit: Actually... Land (Forest) isn't as strong, but it's more on theme for his character... Think I'm going that way instead.))
((Roger that about Gotur's circle! Yep totally, the giant creatures in the basement definitely count as being seen. Heck, I'd even be open to allowing backstories of Gotur seeing creatures in his past which he could now wildshape into if it makes sense. Within the land/forest circle wildshape parameters, of course.))
((Perfect about the plates Alton))
