Gotur goes back for seconds on dinner, and washes it down with a few of Glowkindle's assorted brews. Sure it's more than he usually spends on an evening out, but 25 gold is quite a bit more than he usually gets paid! That's weeks worth of bouncing and carving, all for just a few hours of kicking around a basement and not dying.
He'd been hoping to talk business with Glowkindle, but the fellow seems a bit too drunk at the moment. Gotur has a look around the bar to see if there is anything that is obviously broken and in need of mending.

((Gotur had been in town for a while, but not sure if he'd been at the Spring Shoot, or had found other lodging. He'd have been trying to keep living costs down since his carving hadn't taken off like he'd hoped.))
Alton doesn’t have anything he wants to purchase, but let’s just say for the sake of simplicity over the course of night and morning at the brewery/spring shoot, he spent a total of 5 gp.
Gotur, while you don't see anything that is actually broken, you do notice more woodwork inside the brewery than before when you first arrived. Perhaps it was your nerves earlier... who knows. Anyhow, the entire bar, all of the stools, handrails and most of the furniture is all made of fine wood, although the construction seems a touch amateur-ish given your experience with woodwork. The furniture and wooden items seem to function just fine, and the patrons seem to have no problems with it, but there's just no... flair to it. It's just blah, boring wood furnishings that you'd expect in a pub or inn.
Glowkindle is indeed drunk, although you could still approach him about business tonight, or another time that you might see fit. You definitely know where the Spring Shoot Inn is given you've been in the city awhile.
Alton, money well spent. You quite enjoy the food and drink and accommodations over the course of the night and morning at both locations.
(As we get more into this game and start stringing adventures together, I feel the 'homebase' will be this city of Neverwinter.)
Thorvin, you walk around the streets and various marketplaces, and get an idea of how big this city actually is when you're on foot. You can smell the ocean from the sword coast, and realize that it would take a good few days to get around this entire city. That being said, you're able to find a temple maybe a half mile away from which you can only assume is a Temple of Tempus given the statues all around the entrances. They are of a huge beastly barbarian looking figure on an equally beastly looking horse, in various poses, who you would of course know to be Tempus himself. The God of War.
The only problem, is that the temple seems abandoned. You are about a half mile away from the others. (no one came with Thorvin, right? Or even know where he might've went?). It is also getting dark now.
((If he'd made his plans known, Gotur might have tagged along, but for now he'll go find a place to sleep for the night. He's camped in parks and the like before, but he'll splurge for a full bath and bed at the Spring.))

OOC: if you where with Anton and I on the way to the inn you would have heard Thorvin asking about the Temple's.
Thorvin replies: "My friend, worshiping is done in many ways as you know. How you worship is just as important and equal to all the pomp and circumstance that goes on in Temples. A Cleric of Valkur is much the same as you practice.....there are not many Temples aboard a ship. The reason I am searching out a Temple of Tempus is I wanted to take part of what I received and donate to the temple. It is my understanding that Tempus being a God of War is that his Church helps warriors that where grievously wounded in battle and have no means to support themselves. I just thought I would take a small portion of my gains to help a worthy cause."
"Ah, friend Thorvin, I was not criticizing your worship, just saying that I find my connection in the nature. After good food and drink, I could use a walk, if you'd like company, but if not, I wish you well and will see you in the morning."

((Ok, it seems that everyone has accompanied Thorvin to the Temple of Tempus, which has been abandoned and basically destroyed and looted. Alton is remaining outside of the broken temple, and everyone else is up closer to Thorvin.))
Thorvin enters leading the way and yells out. His voice does not echo. No one responds. You hear some birds flap away, likely bats as it's almost nightfall by now. Say 8pm. Alton can still see as it's not pitch black, and there is light from the distance street lights shining in and over the broken walls. (see the image in the above post)
If anyone else is following him inside the broken abandoned temple, and was beside him when he yelled out, please make the same check. Alton remains back closer to the street and entrance to the temple.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Thorvin says to Gotur: "I know you were not criticizing friend. I also think you are right about what it will take to put this Temple back on track. I wonder what happened here. Maybe Alton will know who to ask. Well I think I have wasted enough of every ones time and for that I apologize. What say we go back to the inn and have a few drinks?"
"It's a pleasant evening for an after dinner stroll, no need to apologize. I no more like to see a temple like this fallen in to disrepair than I would a sacred grove defiled and polluted. I suppose I could find room for another round or two."

Venovar and Thorvin, you also both see the bats fly away. Venovar, you think you might've seen something fall away into the shadows closer to the back of the temple, but at this point in the evening it could've been anything. Could even be the fatigue. Or the lager.
So it seems you all are about to head back out of the temple...
At the same moment, a Neverwinter city guard approaches Alton who is back closer to the city street. It is a male human guard, rather large for a human, and he seems to be wearing light armor. He wields a spear and is flying the Neverwinter colors. He looks down at the halfling, points his spear, and says:
"Hey, you. What are you doing poking around this place? Wait a minute... haven't I seen you poking around the city like this before? Answer me, half-pint."
The guard doesn't immediately see the others yet because you all are a bit inside the temple in a dark shadow, about to come out (I think?). Let me know what everyone is doing and Alton how will you respond in the moment?
(also please level up your character sheet if you haven't already done so. The level up would've happened during dinner at the brewery. Juuuuust in case the off chance there is an encounter right here...)

I guess Alton is staying outside the temple keeping watch, but not going in.
