The blonde human lass bounds up the steps and ducks quickly into the wolf cave, shrinking back against the wall to let the water rush by. She winces when she sees her new male companion attempt to reach the safety of the cave, but fail.
The water rushes through the tunnel crashing against the walls with a roar. Daeris jumps back toward the ruble she just tumbled down as the water pours past the opening leaving her unscathed. Lowblo pulls out his crossbow and hunkers down, noting the sound is coming from below him he can hear the spray of water slightly. The goblins in the room do not seem to notice.
Nelly flings herself to safety landing close to Daeris' feet. with a smile.
As Chantrea makes it into the wolf den she glances back to see Ruvaar stumble as the water crashes into him. He reaches out desperately and tries the grab the cavern wall (sorry should have had you all do a strength test DC 15 (difficult) as well just in case: 13 not able to grab the side Ruvaar slips with the water out of sight, being bashed against the passage wall as he is deposited along with the water outside of the cave entrance. The water dissipates quickly enough leaving him sitting soaked and battered. Ruvaar takes 3 bludgeoning damage.
Chantrea looks to the wolves. .. who are looking at her. . their lips quivering and beginning to curl back. She notices that the room ends where there is a pile of food that must be tossed down from a hole above to feed to the wolves at a later time.
Don't worry. You will all get your change to do some damage soon :)
Feeling slightly embarrassed, Ruvaar pushes himself up and gets back on his feet. He winces as he does so and makes a mental note of the pain emanating from the right side of his ribcage.
"The others...!" He thinks to himself and then runs quickly back into the cave to check to see if any of his new found companions were harmed in the flash flood. He draws his sword in the process in case danger lays beyond the entrance.
[I'm assuming the water has dissipated enough for Ruvaar to reenter the cave]
You can see down into the passage but it is fairly steep. You can't see much past the bottom. imagine a bout a 45 degree angle with that little plataeu in the middle. . then 45 again. . so you can see a horizontal slice of below. You might have seen the water if you were looking. I would assume you would have actually since it was quite loud and obvious.
Ruvaar: You bet. . it is a little soggy and the stone passage is soaked but it was fairly wet to begin with.
Ruvaar enters the cave and sees that Chantrea is not where they last were, he then ducks into the wolves' cave to see if she managed to seek shelter there before the flood hit them.
Seeing her he says, "Seems you faired better than I did. Do you know what's become of the others?"

Lowblo heads down the passage carefully after seeing where Daeris loosened some of the edge. Daeris is peeking around the corner looking down the passage after signalling to Nelly that she is going to do so. (Stealth with advantage for peeking only 4 Perception: 17 DM rolls 162). Daeris spots a goblin on top of the bridge peering down the passage. He glances across the bridge and holds up his hand palm out and fingers raised as if to tell someone to stop or wait.
As Lowblo approaches Daeris she holds out her hand and signals to him that something is ahead. . pointing down the passage and up as well then holding up one finger.
Lowblo peeks around the corner as well. (Because Daeris is "helping" Lowblo the check is with advantage (stealth check already passed) 17)
Lowblo notices the goblin as well.
As this is happening they see Ruuvar enter the passage from the opening, soaking wet and dripping, water still running out of his armour in tiny streams. He moves toward the wolf den to find Chantrea there.
The golbin on the bridge seems to have shown some interest but is not moving and continues to hold his hand in the same manner.
The wolves in the den continue to snarl and shift around on the floor resettling on their haunches.
Daeris, looking around the passage for her new friends, sees Ruvaar start the enter the pass. She tries to get his attention and signal, pointing toward the bridge. She holds up one finger.
Chantrea and Rovaar can both see Daeris signal (if they would like to).
I will actually let everyone respond to this situation before continuing. We will go with a round by round approach. So think about what you can do in about 6 seconds and what you might want to do next and share both if you feel like it :)
When Chantrea notices Daeris and her signal, she stops short, and then hisses to Ruvaar to halt (if he hasn't already). The human woman looks to the bridge and quietly draws and loads her crossbow, ready to attack if the situation warrants. She delays her action until the goblin or her companions act first.
Looking around as he enters the passage Ruvaar sees Daeris giving her signal. Not a moment later he hears Chantrea's warning to wait. Giving a silent nod to Daeris to convey that he and Chantrea have seen and understood her signal, Ruvaar follows his companion's lead and switches his sword out for his crossbow. He sets his sights on the enemy in the distance, and waits.

Seeing the enemy, Lowblo nods at Daeris. Always having his crossbow at the ready, he peaks around the corner again and takes aim at the sentry on the bridge. Once he has a clear shot, he lets the bolt fly...
Nelly moves away from the water, taking a moment to glance both ways down the T-intersection found further into the cave system. Always best to be sure there are no surprises.

Apologies for the delay.
Lowblo aims and fires at the goblin on the bridge, Daeris follows close behind. Since you were hiding, could brace yourself and aim the shot well and he wasn't expecting it I am going to say you have advantage and get a second attack roll:18) The crossbow bold just misses the goblin as Lowblo hears Daeris whisper something and a now familiar blue beam of light passes above you and to the side toward the bridge (stealth 17 attack 16 damage 8The beam hits the goblin and he rushes to the east across the bridge waving his arms madly and screaming. Anyone speaking goblin knows he is yelling "now!. . now!" He disappears out of site to the east.
Cantrea and Ruvaar see Lowblo lining up his shot when they hear a sound on the opposite side of the wolves den. There is a slight sound of clattering as a goblin gracelessly slides down what must be a fairly steep chute into the room onto the pile of scraps and bones. He begins to run toward the wolves when he notices the two of you. Stopping for only an instant he rushes to the closes wolf and reaches to grab the spike holding the wolves chain into the stalagmite. You were both ready but not expecting someone from this direction. You may both choose to fire at him. It will be a straight roll plus your regular bonus to hit and then roll damage just in case. You can also take any other action you would like.
Nelly doesn't notice any movement or changes the the general sounds coming from the passages.
I will post a follow-up tomorrow night describing exactly how everyone ends up :)
Chantrea's save - 16

Realizing what happened, Lowblo relaxes a little and stows his crossbow.
OOG: Just to clarify, is where I standing a cliff that looks over the passage that goes roughly east and west?
Lowblo:

"Hm, maybe no go that way," Lowblo says to no one in particular.
He heads back down the tunnel to rejoin the others and report what he's found.
"Step slope, maybe too slidey. Hear voices argue about fire...stupids."
The goblin then decides he wants to see what if further up the main hall and heads off into the direction.

Turning to his companion Ruvaar says,
"We should return to the main pass and find the others. It were best that we did not get split up."
He then turns on his heel and re-enters the previously flooded passage, looking around for his travelling companions.
Chantrea nods when she sees Ruvaar return after the flood. She moves toward the entrance, away from the snarling wolves.
"It all happened so fast!" she says, in response to his question, then nods again when he mentions finding the others.
"Aye, Nelly can handle herself, I know. But I worry about where the rest ended up."
With a last glance back at the hungry beasts, Chantrea follows Ruvaar out into the passageway.

Just need to ask Emmy one thing and I will post tonight.
