"I think there's been enough scouting, goblin." Chantrea moves up beside Nelly, ready to follow their small, green companion in to the unknown. "Lead on."
The group re-enters the cave. Lowblo leads the way followed by Nelly then Daeris (assumed since they have Darkvision).
Chantrea comes next followed by Ruvaar.
The wolves seem to have taken no notice of anyone so far.
The passage here climbs rather steeply and the side passage to the west (ahead) has a rubble strewn steep climb and then levels off onto a flat area then seems to climb again.
The bridge ahead is about 20 feet above the passage, the walls of the cavern are rough but slick with spray. (They could be climbed but it would be difficult.
The goblin pauses for a moment as he approaches the river bank. Taking his sword, he probes to see how deep the river goes and tests for the resistance against the blade by the moving water.
(How deep is the water and how fast is it moving?)
Chantrea moves up to peek into the room where the wolves are chained. She does NOT like being told to "stay", so she scuffs her feet on the stone floor a few times, exhibiting her impatience. She speaks softly to the wolves. "You'll be okay, beasties. I'll make sure you're fed and freed."
With a slight scowl, she moves ahead some more and then elbows Nelly in the shoulder.
"Do you think that greenie knows what he's doing?"

Lowblo heads off across the cool stream and up toward the passage to the west. Making his way up the rubble strewn passage he finds the platau. (one extra stealth roll for advantage: 14) It seems to be rather unstable and he is glad that he is lighter than most. Peeking over the top of the next steep climb Lowblo sees that there is a passage at the top that runs east and west roughly. To the west he hears goblins arguing over how to keep the cooking fire properly lit and a passage that looks to open into a large room.
Daeris follows behind Lowblo across the stream and starts to carefully climb the first embankment (stealth: 19 . Getting to the top of the ridge to the plateau she pulls herself up, the edge of the plateau giving way: (Dexterity saving throw 8) Daeris falls from the ledge as gracefully as possible but still tumbles on the loose rocks on the bottom wrenching an elbow. (damage from fall 1 / halved for making saving throw).
Suddenly you notice a loud roaring sound coming from down the passage (main passage with stream). You realize that is is the sound of rushing water - a lot of it! Up ahead you see the passage flood and come rushing toward you!
Everyone let me know what you want to do.
Nelly could dive into the passage across the stream in time (depending on saving throws etc.)
Chantrea and Ruvaar could safely dash up the steps toward the wolves or attempt to exit the cave mouth. (the wolves can't move much from where they are)
Lowblo and Daeris are likely safe where you are but you can chose to move it you would like.
Everyone is caught by surprise and has about 10 feet of movement (each square being 5 (even diagonal for simplicity)). I had to fudge this a bit do to the Play by Post.
Upon hearing and seeing the rushing water coming straight for both himself and Chantrea, Ruvaar quickly decides to dash into the Wolves' cave. Not being one to retreat or run from danger, he doesn't even consider leaving the cave -- he'd rather pick a fight with a hungry wolf over running away any day.
(not sure if any rolls need to be done, let me know if I need to do any!)
Oops yes (Dexterity saving throw - adjustment is on your character sheets). Anyone wanting to "dive" out of the way into the passage or the wolf room. It is DC 10 so you want 10 or higher on a roll. You can use the die roller. . then edit your post to describe your "dive" if you would like :)

"Dive" role (Dex Save): 22
After having decided to dive into the wolf cave rather than retreat from the greater cave all together, Ruvaar goes to jump into the cave (thinking he better act fast) however as he makes the jump his feet slip out from underneath of him due to the general wetness of the cave, resulting in a bad jump with no distance travelled.
[since I didn't reach the needed 10 let me know if my description is enough or if anything else happens as a result of failure]

Nelly Stonebottom~ AC 18 ~ HP 12
Rolling first, describing after roll... 20
Nelly sees the water coming, and suddenly, the entire world slows down. Each splash of water against rock separates cleanly into individual sparkling drops of water. Nelly walks forward towards the water, her gait unhurried and casual as she approaches the dangerous flood. She smiles at the water, then turns and slides into the passage ahead, fractions of a second before the water rushes past her.

Daeris prepares herself by chef going equipment, daggers etc then moves to follow.
Lowblo can you do another stealth and perception.
Everyone else can role a stealth check and perception as well. If you don't in time I'll roll for you ;)

The stream is about 2 feet deep. . slow moving but cold. You could easily wade through it.
Lowblo wispers to the group, "Me scout path over there." He points to the passage on the other side of the river. "Yous stay."
Not waiting for a reply, he wades into the water, letting out an almost imperceptible yep when the cold touches his skin.
Sneaky, sneaky (just rolling d20, so feel free to add the things): 8

Just spending a little extra time with family. Will post tonight and move us along :)

"Welp, I'll never do that again."
Not being able to see what is making the loud sound, Loblow freezes in place. He prepares his crossbow in case of trouble.
