((Sorry, I forgot to describe. Bad DMing on my part))
There is quite a scene around the walled temple gateway entrance - even at this distance. You notice at the front, there is a good number of cultists, mercenaries and kobolds jeering chanting around something. They are too excited and riled up at a generated commotion to notice anything...
The walls, while taller than most, seem scalable by everyone with aid of their abilities. But you all notice a break off group of the assailants are loitering by the wall...
Taking in the situation, Kano asks, "Should we try to bypass the assailants and sneak over to another section of the wall, or move up to them like we own the place and berate them for not finding the weak spot along the wall?"

(Since we can see the break-off group, that must mean they are outside of the wall, like us? So we'll need to take care of them before climbing said wall to get inside of the enclosure and perhaps to a back door? If that's right, then that's what I propose. Pim doesn't want to face the huge mob with no spells left...)
Striding up to the small group of cultists, his hands crackling with lightning and flanked by his impressive bodyguards, Kano barks at the kobolds in Draconic, "Why have you failed to get over the wall? Or even find a weak spot? Get out of my sight and report back to the main force before I electrocute you!"

They all flinch at Kano'scommanding voice in Draconic, with two imposing pillars of destruction that are Kuguand Tengar.
The cultists and kobolds scatter into the night and bushes leaving behind whatever loot they were divvying out amongst themselves.
Scattered on the ground you find 16gp, 24spand 59cpand an emerald necklace.

Skilfully you all hoist yourselves over the wall into the gardens of the temple. Even in the chaos of the attack, there is a layer of quiet that grants a sense of calm to you all.
However, the delicate quiet is shattered...
"Alright, gang! Do a round!"
From the north, the temple's gated entrance, you many hear cries of excitement, hoots that turn into basic chanting in Draconic, snarls of things that definitely aren't humanoid.

"Quick - hide!" Pimster squeaks to the group. He finds a nice bush to hide in - being a halfling druid he figures he has a pretty good shot at it! But he has an arrow nocked on his shortbow, just in case... (Stealth w/ adv: 21)

Seeing the others hiding, Karib starts to speak, "Wha..." then just shrugs, prays to Gond for help, and does his best to hide among the shadows and bushes.
Stealth: 5 + 2 = 7
He grimaces as his shield buts up against a tree then his chainmail clanks as it settles on the ground.
The half-orc looks around in confusion at his scattering companions and looks around, trying to find the source of their dismay. Shrugging, he jumps to the nearest bush: 6
The sources of the noise and chanting appears; a mob appears, Karib counting, ten kobolds, a few cultists and a couple of drakes march passed daring to go challenged. There are a few kobolds who look to the bushes at the sounds of clinging chainmail or shields making hiding cumbersome. But their attention is snatched right back as the marches on.
They turn the corner to the back of the temple and continue the march. As their march drags on and the pass to the opposite side of the temple, you make out lingering voices and few chirps of Draconic , the language Karib recognises the chants to be in. The voices come from the most southern side of the temple with yourselves being on the west.

Kano:
Also understanding Draconic, Kano tries to sneak around closer to the front of the temple once the parade passes by, trying to listen and maybe even take a peek if it is safe--just to see what is going on.
Stealth (still with advantage?): 23
Perception: 20
Edit: OOC: If there is a back door, Kano will head there instead--I am not clear if there is only the front entrance or not.
Pimster whispers to the group, "Weren't there townsfolk trapped in the temple? We should get to the back door and see if they are OK - perhaps even get them out of there and into the keep..all while avoiding the main body of the cultists and kobolds!"
The half orc nods at the halflings words, as he pulls some persistent vines and roots from his legs. “I agree. We should avoid that crowd for as long as we can,” gesturing towards the passing column of cultists and kobolds.
(( From where we are, can we see if the gate is clear, and can we see if climbing the wall is possible? ))

Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
Perhaps even ask them to report on why they haven't breached the wall and what the others are doing to fix that?
