While you continue to munch on cookies and food she heads into a back room and returns with a small pouch.
"100 gold pieces, as promised. Ekemon will certainly be disappointed. He's been trying very hard to find that moose. I am sure you have proof right?"
"You are still welcome to try your shot at fixing up the old inn if you wish also. My attic is available to rest in tonight as well."
"Pretty sure big man here brought something back, just don't take it out in the house eh Rekuburk! That's kinda gross. But yeah, we have something. The moose was awakened by a druid who serves Auril. Her name was Ravisin and she wanted to destroy Lonelywood because some hunters killed her sister a while back. But we took care of that. Lonelywood is safe for now. We have other business to attend to that we can leave in the morning for so I don;t think we'll be trying to open and inn anytime soon. But thanks, at least on my part, for the offer."
“Very well Chill. I will take bow, and use it to the best of my abilities.” Kazri respectfully take the bow. “So I guess I need to get myself some arrows now.”
When the group gets back to town, Kazri will share her cookie with Oli.

Probably safe to assume you left them stabled in Lonelywood as your mission was an out and back and having them in the forest probably wouldn't have benefited you to have them along.
As Kazri mentions that she will need arrows Krom says "Do not worry, I will craft you some before going to sleep tonight." the dwarf turns towards Nimsy and taking the reward says "Your attic will be sufficient, thank you. I would really like to fix and repair that old inn, but as Chill said, we will leave tomorrow morning." As he speaks, Krom divides in equal parts the reward and gives it to each member of the Fellowship.
“Please take your time Master Krom. It is not urgent that I need ammunition for the bow.” Kazri turn to the speaker. “I would like to thank you for your hospitality Ms. Huddle. Perhaps, on our next visit, we may take your offer to restore the inn. This is, after all, a good location in Ten-Towns.”

Rekuburk takes Nimsy outside and shows her the trophy he brought back of what he took from the moose. Satisfied by the evidence shown she gives you the 100 gold pieces (20 each). You spend the rest of the evening enjoying the warm fire with dinner and cookies. The children play with Gorrah and the shrub and you get a full nights rest safely in Nimsy's attic.
The following morning is clear and cold but the darkness still settles on the area from the spell Auril has cast on Icewind Dale. You head north out of town, following the directions given to you by Copper Knobberknocker back in Bryn Shander. Following the edge of Maer Dualdon you reach the Shaengarne River. Rhogar rides his axebeak, the other in tow carrying supplies you easily follow the frozen banks of the river for a few hours. It is shortly after noon when you reach your destination.
Perched on the edge of a snowy ridge above a gorge is a black lodge on wooden stilts. Whatever path might have led to this ramshackle retreat lies buried under snow.
Icy steps climb to a snow-covered walkway that clings to the south side of the structure. The building’s slumped posture and sagging, snow-covered roof, coupled with the broken windows and loose, flapping shutters, suggest utter abandonment. Large snowdrifts huddle around the rotting stilts and engulf a nearby woodshed and outhouse. Only the wind visits this sinister place.
Both Rhogar and Gorrah shuddered uncomfortably upon seeing the structure, before then side-eyeing each other. Nothing is shared through the link, and yet both were aware that the most recent reaction may have had little to do with the oppressive cold for a change. "This is worse than I feared. But still, we need to get up there, and search the premises. It could yet be that our 'friend' is perhaps hiding somewhere inside." Rhogar said firmly, even though internally he felt the complete opposite.
"Chill? You up for scouting ahead and taking a peek inside? Assuming the weather alone isn't responsible for the damage, it's best anything hostile yet lingering doesn't learn of our presence too soon."He suggest after hoping down from duchess

Chill looks at the cabin from afar. "This doesn't look good. Yes, I will scout ahead. Wait here."
Chill draws his cloak over his head and moves forward into the darkness to scout the building. The silence of his boots and the cloak of white drawing him into the landscape he moves with ease towards and around the cabin to get as best a look as he can get. After getting closer he'll take sometime to watch carefully for a short while looking for movement and any signs of occupancy.
Rekuberk as usual lets them do the talking, taking his portion of the gold before moving to rejoin the others the next morning as they head out. As they come upon the strange building he readies himself, reaching back for his weapon as he waits for confirmation to go ahead from Chill.
Before resting for the night, Krom spends some time to craft Kazri 10 arrows for her new bow. To add a more personal touch to the arrows, Krom uses some of Oli's discarded feathers as fletching "I will try to make some more tomorrow" says the dwarf as he gives the newly crafted arrows to Kazri.
As the group reaches their destination, Krom shakes his head and says in a lower voice "I do not like this, I do not like this at all." The dwarf's eyes follows Chill as the tabaxi scouts ahead. Waiting for Chill's confirmation, Krom readies his shield and war hammer.
Kazri wakes up refreshed the next day, and she sees that Oli had a good night of rest as well. She helps the owlbear to wear his armor, and as she is helping him, she can tell that Krom put great care on crafting it. After that, she wears her armor and weapons. She then inspects the magic bow and she can also tell that it is a fine piece of equipment. She thinks for a moment that in her younger years, she would probably have appreciated it much more.
Kazri goes down with Oli to join the others for breakfast, and receives the arrows created by Krom. She recognizes Oli's feathers in the fletching. "I thank you Master Krom, for again, you create marvels with your master craftsmanship." She stores the "Oli-arrows" into the magical quiver. "If you will excuse me gentlemen. I will return shortly." She goes to the local store, and buys some arrows. She wants to practice using the bow. It has been a while since she shot anything from a bow, and she did not want to waste any of the arrows crafted by Krom.
When they arrive at the cabin, the Paladin agrees with her companions that things do not look right. So she uses her senses to see if there are any foul evil about in or around the cabin. (Kazri uses her Divine Sense)

Chill carefully moves forward to scout the cabin. He can see that the Black Cabin has two stone chimneys that rise several feet above its sagging roofline. The rest of the lodge is made of rotting wood. The stilts that elevate the structure are 20 feet tall.
It’s clear that part of the ridge it rests on fell away some time ago, leaving the westernmost section of the building hanging over the gorge. All of the cabin’s doors are closed, and its windows are big enough for you to climb through.
There is a small building that looks like a wooden outhouse that is half-buried in snow.
Nothing appears to live here.
Chill is gone about 15 minutes and then returns to report his findings.
As you move closer as a group Kazri reaches out with her divine sense but it reveals nothing to her.
Not one to stand entirely idle, Rhogar tried to look around for a place to leave the axe beaks nearby, but never quite can settle on anything particular location. Assuming, in any event, there were even trees just close enough at hand to tie them off on prior to an inevitable investgation. Once he's back and the group moved close enough for a personal look, Rhogar grimaces upon taking a closer look at the walkway.
"I do not know about you all, but that walkway... I don't trust it. At the very least, we should be mindful not to stand too close to one another once on it, least our combined weight brings us down. Maybe with some rope though it won't be so bad.."He warns. Then, if there's no other suggestion for taking a different route, Rhogar intended to make his way up from the south east snow banks on onto the stairs, volunteering in action to test the way up
Chill returns and makes his report. "The place is eerily quiet. Looks like our gnome's friend is no longer here. It looks abandoned, and I rough shape. Let's take a closer look.
He moves forward with the rest if the group.
"I can climb in a window if you want. I don't think anyone is home."
Krom, follows Rhogar as he walks towards the stairs. As the dragonborn is about to climb on the stairs, Krom says to him "I agree Rhogar, it may be better to use a rope, just in case." The dwarf takes out from his pack a rope ties one end to his shield arm and offers the other end to the dragonborn.
Tying off with ropes Rhogar starts up the rickety, snow-covered walkway, the steps and boards of which crackle and creak underfoot. He reaches the corner and turns, a door and window on his right.
Looking in the window you see that frost covers every surface of this abandoned workshop. The workshop contains a set of smith’s tools and a set of tinker’s tools spread across a wooden table along with some twisted bits of metal. You don't see a door that leads into the rest of the cabin from the workshop.
"I do not sense any evil in the area. Perhaps it is abandoned. We should proceed with caution." Kazri will to help the others getting to the cabin.
