The man gestures to the whole camp with his sickle blade. "This clan was disloyal to the Wolf tribe and so they were culled. But my people failed to complete the task and I am here to see the job done. Send the boy out and you will live."

Rhogar eyes narrow, but some of the aggression left his stance. Yet, he'd keep his hand on the ivory staff and still held it with some readiness to defend himself if the need called for it. "Is that so?"He asked, but hardly waited for an answer before carrying on with, "The nature of their disloyalty must've been rather extreme then to require this answer then. Something... the ice maiden would be proud of I suspect, if only for your dedication to thoroughness."He said, pausing for a moment to gauge the man's reaction to being tied to Auril.
Noting the reaction, if any, Rhogar goes on to say, "But surely the child is not responsible for whatever disloyal act warranted this response. So on his behalf, we will have to insist upon things being settled a different way. A chance for the boy to perhaps repay whatever debt left owed not in blood, but in service or rite of atonement. IF you however insist... upon your OWN demise. You and whatever kin you may have lurking near, at that, then... so be it." He says, as an airborne Gorrah takes his word as cue to keep a closer eye for any movement beyond the edges of the camp.
Intimidation: 19. (not sure if I can swing the above as persuasion instead. But if possible, then add another +3 to that roll)

Krom's expression harden as the man states his intentions and the reasons behind them. As Roghar finishes to speak, the dwarf, keeping his war hammer ready in case of hostile reaction from the man, says "This boy is a cub, the leaders of his clan may have been disloyal, but he had no part in that. As a member of a pack he just followed his leaders. Leaders that your people already punished. Let the boy join your pack and, as my friend said, let him show you his loyalty to Wolf Tribe, by service, not by blood." Krom gestures at the corpses all around him "This has been his trial of blood. Abandon your current intent and avoid making this, your trial of blood." (Persuasion18)
Kazri moves next to Rhogar, in case the wolf-man decides to attack. “The child is currently under our protection. I suggest that we discuss his fate. Enough blood has been spilled already.”

The man spits on the ground at the mention of Auril and it takes no deep insight to understand his disdain for the goddess. "I care not what she, or her emissaries think. Hand him over and I will consider your request for him to be my servant as I am Isarr Kronenstrom, king of the Wolf Tribe."
Rhogar narrows his eyes a little more, before then risking a glance back at the other, trusting their ability to ready others more than he. Gorrah, however, would continue to flutter on high and keep an eye on the man for any other sudden moves. "We know what will happen once this... trial is complete. And by all accounts, there are no second chances." He warns the party, cutting off any suggestions or ideas of leaving with the boy by some means.

Krom studies Isarr as he speaks to understand better his intentions (insight, 17). The dwarf nods in agreement to Rhogar "Indeed, Rhogar, there are no second chances." The dwarf takes a few steps towards Isarr says to him "King of the Wolf Tribe, if indeed you are going to keep your word and cause no harm to the boy, we can release him into your custody." Krom places his hammer deep into the snow "However, be warned that if you harm him, you will make an enemy of Krom Firebeard, Smith of Moradin and Keeper of Axeholm."

Kazri holds onto her shield, but lowers her sword. She concludes that the boy has the best chance of surviving with his King.

Krom thinks back to the words of this man, of culling the clan and he being there to finish the job. Krom is fairly certain that the man is not being honest of his intentions with the child.
Krom shakes his head and pointing his war hammer at Isarr while murmuring an hymn of transmutation (thaumaturgy) says in a booming voice "Do not take me for a fool Isar Kronenstorm, I can see through your lies. You intend to harm this poor boy and I will not allow it!"
Kazri is a little surprised by Krom’s reaction. She brings her sword back up, and brings her shield to the front. She moves to be between the King and her companions. Giving him a target if her decides to fight.

Rhogar initially grimaces at the declaration from Krom. But then with a grim chuckle, he sets his eyes back on the king. The smell of ozone begins to almost immediately fill the air as Rhogar growled out, "Neither shall I, King of Wolves. If you cannot temper your bloodlust and misguided vengeance, then we shall do it for you. Permanently, if we must."He states as he'd again reaffirmed his grasp on the Ivory Staff and stared down the man. From on high Gorrah chirped her agreement, and readied her self to dive bomb the king.
