A shake of the head in the negative is all Rhogar gives Krom, before glancing to Kazri with some concern on his face. Though rather than insisting on anything regarding the paladin, trusting that she knew herself well enough, the Bronze Dragonborn instead regarded Rekuberk with a half-smile. "So what do you think, my friend? What would be your poison next, as I've heard some bartenders call it."

Kazri concentrates for a moment, and her hand glows with divine radiance. She touches her shoulder, and her wounds heals instantly. (Lay on Hand to restore 30HP). “I thank you Master Krom. I am fine. We should proceed to the next challenge.” Kazri nods to Rhogar, thanking him for his concern, then looks to Rekuberk.

Krom takes out from his pack the Tankard of Plenty and after speaking the command word, drinks from it. "I would not call it a poison, Rhogar, but a blessing." says the dwarf with a toothy smile. He nods at Kazri and walks next to Rekuberk.
Rhogar smirks. "Figures a dwarf would say as much, considering how well known your people are for the drink and its accompanying merriment."He jests, before then looking to Rekuberk's choice. "Hmn. A fitting choice given all we have faced so far, friend Rekuberk. Let us see what this maiden has yet in store for us indeed."With that, the Dragonborn moved to fall in line behind the half-orc with a fair more pep to his step.

Krom smiles at Rhogar "As All-Father's blessings, ale has been created to be shared." and quickly finishes his drink before following Rekuberk and the dragonborn "Let's see what does Endurance mean for the Frostmaiden."
Chill takes out his Luckstone and flips it in the air as he follows behind the others. "I'm having a grand ole time, I know that. This Auril is a wicked god. Do these people's lives play out this way for everyone who tries these tests? Or are new ones contrived as new people come along? What I mean is, what if some of us don't take the test? Say we stay with Oli and don't go to the next room with the rest. Do we stay behind? And if we do and the rest come back can we then go try the test ourselves? Would it be the same test, the same people, the same lives? Not that I want to split the party, I'll stick together thank you, but it just makes me wonder."
Just like the previous rooms, as you go to open the door your surroundings vanish in a flurry of snow and ice. When your vision clears, you find yourself in a raging snowstorm, standing at the edge of a Reghed tribe’s camp in the process of being dismantled. The snowflakes are back above your heads. The nomads work feverishly to tear down their tents and pack them onto dogsleds. A few of them spot you and brandish their weapons. A tall figure standing among them calls out, “We shall not lie down and die for your pleasure, emissaries of Auril! Begone, vultures!”
The very first thing Rhogar notices, even before the man speaks or anything else happens is that Gorrah suddenly winks out of existence, his connection to her lost.
Chill realizes that he doesn't feel quite so lucky and for the first time, in quite some time, you hear the crunch of snow below his feet.
Krom, Kazri and Chill also feel the cold for the first time in a long time.
Rekuburk and Kazri nearly slip on small spots of ice as they don't feel they have the traction on the ground they used to have.
Rhogar gritted his teeth behind closed lips having braced himself for anything as the snow hit the group. The sudden loss of Gorrah had not been one of them, and prompted much frantic looking around for possible assailants. Yet the tall stranger would have his attention soon enough, as well as earn a glare from the Bronze Dragonborn.
Just as he begun to feel his Dorsal fin begin to rise with anger, he huffs through his nose and calls back, "Fortunate for you all an easy death is not on the table. Nor have we a desire to take what you possess. But we would entreat with you all the same!"He called out over the winds with a naturally deep yet habitually loud voice.

"By the All-Father's Flaming beard, it's really cold!" says Krom as the snowstorm hits him. Noticing Gorrah's disappearance and how Chill and Kazri are also reacting to the storm, the dwarf says "It looks like that our magic has been somehow dispelled." Krom concentrates on his connection with Moradin trying to understand if something or someone is blocking his powers. As the nomads shout at the group, the dwarf places his hand on the war hammer's head.
Kazri steadies herself, surprise by the sudden change. Not used to having to walk on ice thanks to her magic boots, so she tries adjust to the new situation. "Humm...." Shivers the Paladin. "It is... Cold..." Also, not used to this adverse temperature, she tries not to think about the freezing temperature assaulting her body. Her hands goes for her sword, but she finds that it is slightly numb, and it very stiff from the cold, and she also has to get used to it when handling her weapon.
(FYI. Last weekend, when we went skiing, we experienced a real raging snowstorm. Snow was coming "down" literally horizontally. On the second day, it was about 20F at the base, about 10F at the top of the mountain, and prob below 0 with the wind, and the wind was wiping that day. As we got closer to the top, the chair lift was like a swing, but going sideways. Also, we knew it was going to be cold, so we all double layered the internal warmer, which we never do. Even with the double layer, we could still feel the cold. Also, I could feel my hands and feet going numb a little, which never happens. My wife and daughter had to get hand and toe warmers, which again we never do. In one of the run, the visibility about 15ft. I could only see the person in front of me, and the next person would literally disappear in a wall of white stuff. Good thing the friend we went with knew the trails well, and got us down. Then, by the time we took the lift back up, the sky cleared, and it was a beautiful day from that on. Crazy.)

Rekuberk will draw his greatsword and call forth the flames in an attempt to bring about even a small amount of warthm. As he steps close to the rest of the party he will, keep a wary eye about them.
Rekuburk draws his blade, but as he calls out the words that activate the flames he finds that they do not light. His sword is just a plain piece of steel, no flames flicker along its edges.
The man, in response to Rhogar's words calls back. "Then put away your swords if all you wish is to speak. We leave this place and follow the reindeer. The herd is migrating eastward, and where go the reindeer, so goes the Elk Tribe. You can help, or you can leave."
Chill was assaulted by noises and feelings that had been gone for some time. He was used to hearing the sound of the others footsteps but his own? They had been so quiet for so long they nearly surprised him.
And the cold, that bitter cold wind was awful. He removed the ring of warmth and put it back on. Nothing changed.
"Well, this will be a test of endurance if we have to put up with this cold." He remarked
"I say we go with them. This is a test. We gotta endure somehow. It might as well be with them."
Unable to hear the drawing of steel before, Rhogar looked genuinely surprised in hearing the man's claims and glanced over in confusion at Rekuberk. Yet with Chill's words and the reaction of others finally taken fuller note of, the pieces began to fall into place for the Bronze. "So it would be, my friend. Though the cold alone may not be the only thing we must endure."
With that bit of cryptic concern laid out, Rhogar turned to Rekuberk and gestured for the blade to put away, before then finally regarding the man again. "We shall journey with your tribe, and provide what assistance we can! And... we would know as well what your kin knows of the Cave of Hunger's whereabouts by the end of the maiden's test of us."

Krom nods in agreement "Running will at least help us fight this cold." He then gestures at his hammer and then at the rest of the group "And if we will have to fight something else our Fellowship will be ready!" The dwarf then chants an hymn of evocation attempting to light up his shield before walking towards the Elk Tribe. "In case we get separated, it's better to have a Moradin's light to guide us."
Krom attempts to cast a simple cantrip to create some light in the darkness of the blizzard but even this simple spell does not work. You begin to realize that all magic seems to be dampened, or stopped. Your gear that has magical properties work like ordinary gear and your spells do not work.
Presuming that Rekuburk sheathes his sword as the remainder of the party agrees to travel with the Tribe of the Elk. The men, and their leader relax, as it is clear to you they did not wish to fight the ambassadors of Auril. They treat you with deference, and insist that you do not need to help but are welcome to travel along with them. If you insist on helping they show you how you can help, or give you packages to carry. Soon the entire camp is packed up and the whole group moves out. The pace is slow and there is little chance that anyone is unable to keep up.
The darkness fills in around you and the Tribe of the Elk push on into the snow and darkness. For eight hours they march with only a couple of short breaks. There is not enough time for a short rest, just enough time to pause for short periods. The march drags on into the 9th, 10th and 11 hours as the tribe shows no signs of stopping.
