"It was indeed Rhogar." replies the dwarf as the dragonborn examines the fallen giant. He takes a couple of steps towards est and pointing at the bonefire adds "We found more than a pair of tracks, the other giant should be further inside." As he waits for Rhogar to finish, Krom walks back to the burial niches and chanting an hymn of guidance, rapidly examines them (Perception20) +1), before rejoining the rest of the group.
While Krom examines the giant's body, Kazri remains alert for the other giant. She stands guard at the entrance of the area where they are.

Chill watched as his companions executed the ambush perfectly and the giant was quickly taken down. Curiosity getting the best of him he ventures north to explore the back cave where the stream comes from.
Rhogar examines the body of the giant. He sees that it is a Verbeeg which are giants, but not of the main giant races. Perhaps more akin to large humans of giant stature. Not as strong as hill giants but probably smarter.
The giant has nothing of value on him.
Krom inspects to tombs but they are very old and the few remaining bones hold no secrets.
From where the main party is you can see the curved ring-shaped excavation leads north with another passage.
Chill moves north into the next cave following the water. The frozen stream ends at a seven-foot-deep frozen pool at the back of a dark cave. Trapped beneath the pool’s ice is a stone statue of a smiling young man, naked except for a well-placed oak leaf, with his face turned toward the sky.
In the corner of the west side of the cave a bear sleeps. So far undisturbed and unaware of his or the parties presence.
Rhogar fairly absent mindedly makes mention of his own findings over the course of the investigation. Chuckling, he then adds, "While it's not entirely impossible, for a while I thought the claim of a giant was a bit of an exaggeration. Or at least, the culprit themselves not being a true giant or giant-kin, but someone altered by the winter mistress' mischief." As he finally looks up and sees no sign of Chill, Rhogar looked worry for all of a moment before sighing through his nose.
"Do we wait for Chill, or see what's to the north of us a bit? 'cause as how another giant hasn't rushed in roaring at us, I believe we shouldn't expect company for a bit more at least."He asks of the others.

Chill has very keen senses, I'm sure that he will be able to find us." continues the dwarf before adding with a chuckle "truth be told, we are not very quiet."

"Is that... is that perhaps a coffin?"Rhogar asks, blissfully unaware of of Kazri's troubles for the moment. He did however become quickly aware he'd been blocking Rekuberk's entrance into the room somewhat and shifted over to the right most corner to let the Half-Orc inside it. A look then goes to Krom as he adds, "What do you make of it?", before being side-tracked again glancing at the pictographs about the room. Not really to study them just yet, but absently "read" the story depicted while the others examined the room.

Krom takes a closer look at the stone block "Considering the size of the giant we have just fought, it could be a coffin, but I do not see a lid." the dwarf checks if the block is made by a single piece of stone ( Stonecunning12). "It could be an altar." says the dwarf as he also checks for markings or symbols of the Frostmaiden. (Investigation22)
Chill enters the room and finds most of his companions.
"Be careful to the west. There is a sleeping bear. Best not to disturb it. There is a also a frozen pool with a small statue in it. It may need closer scrutiny but I didn't want to wake the bear up so I left it alone." He says as he looks around the room with the others.
"Where is Kazri? Have you seen her?" asks Krom to the tabaxi as he finishes examining the stone block. "She mentioned that she was going to follow you into that chamber." the dwarf points to the west. "She can take care of herself, but it may be better to regroup before further exploring the rest of this complex."
"Hmm..." Rhogar cups his chin. "I... have faith Lady Kazri can handle a single bear. But in case she's run into it, if you could quietly double back to check Chill, that would be appreciated. For knowing her, she might try the carrot approach, and it would be most unwise for all of us to go and further worry the creature, undoing her efforts."Rhogar requests. "But if Master Krom insists on going as well, then so be it. I at least intend to stay behind here and further study the decor here until you've all returned."
