Chill listened to Rhogar and then said, dispassionately, "You know if you leave it alive it will only pillage and threaten the nearby villages. Ogres aren't very smart, they just know how to steal and wreck things. Perhaps the verbeeg did a better job of taking care of things, maybe acting a bit smarter, but in the end we can't leave this brute. He will continue to cause problems here. Best we tie him up if you really want to speak to it. Their purpose seems clear to me. This was their home and from here they raided the nearby towns. The ogre won't stop doing that."
If in agreement, Chill will help Rhogar tie up the ogre.
Krom carefully examines all the room searching for the stolen mead "We have found it. At least the verbeeg and the ogre did not drank all the mead. Now that the threat to their village has been dealt of, they can arrange to have those casks moved back to Good Mead." The dwarf, checking the basket that holds the coins and the gems says, "I bet that those were stolen from the villagers or some other travellers." He then rejoins Chill and Rhogar at the cave's entrance. "I found the stolen casks of mead. Two are still full, but they are very heavy." says to the rest of the group.
Rhogar grimaced. "I do not wholly disagree, friend Chill. It would certainly require a concentrated effort to convince this one to take a different path in life. Time that... sadly we do not necessarily have." He grudgingly admits. "But I would still hear them out before passing judgement. For by your own statement, it perhaps would not take much for those others to have convinced this Ogre to go along with their plans."
Having said all that, Rhogar broke out what rope he had on hand and more than happily accepts Chill help in hog tying the giant so that he couldn't run away again with ease. As for Gorrah during all this, she largely sat proudly on top of the giant's gut for the most part, before remembering her elemental friend and flying back over to keep them company. That is, if they stuck around up this point.
By the time they are through, Krom's return and heralding of new findings brings a broad smile to the Dragonborn's maw. "Good! Though I wager we can carry the lot of those keg well enough by hand, the villagers aughta to be informed instead, so they can bring their own equipment for retrieval... Although..."Rhogar looks down to the still unconscious Ogre. "Perhaps seeing to their return would be an opportunity for this Ogre to make amends and perhaps discover a means to better aquit himself. After all, the townsfolk are down several guards by my reckoning."

Rhogar and Chill bind the arms and legs of the ogre. While the others are still inside the cave searching the ogre comes back to consciousness. Ogres are as lazy of mind as they are strong of body. And this one is strong. Its temper flares seeing the dragonborn and tabaxi standing over him. With a show of immense strength it rips its arms apart and tears the rope apart freeing itself.
"Kill you I will" it bellows and it tries to get to its feet.

(OOC: There goes Rhogar's Hempen rope. Thankfully, he has some rope to spare!)
Rhogar unflinchingly meets the Ogre's outrage with a stern look knowing full well anything less would only encourage the creature. He also threw up a hand in a halting gesture for Chill in feeling certain the Tabaxi had quickly leveled a weapon at the Ogre. "Take it easy, big guy! You've already been beaten once, and quite swiftly at that! Do not seek your own death next in vain."He states firmly, though not without internally wincing at his own tone in the moment. "We just... /I/ have questions for you. Answer them, and you may yet live."

Chill had indeed readied a weapon, his rapier clearing its sheath faster than one could see, however he held his attack per the gesture of Rhogar. But he was ready to strike if the ogre chose to attack rather than talk.
Ogres are notorious for their quick tempers and this particular ogre was pretty amped up. I say was because very shortly it was dead. As it climbed to its feet it moved towards Rhogar raising one of its great fists about to strike. It yelled "Me friend!" just before Chill darted in and ran his rapier through the side of the great brute and pierced its heart. But you are certain he wasn't claiming to be your friend. Probably just as well, what could a dim-witted ogre tell you that wasn't already plain to see?
"We should head back to Good Mead and informs them that everything has been taken care of and that they can send someone to retrive their mead." says Krom to the rest of the group pointing at the dead ogre. The dwarf adjusts his weapons as he speaks and starts walking, "The duergar's fortress is still far away and we do not have too much time left."
Rhogar's grip had tightened on the staff in hand from the bellow, but he'd stood his ground, confident things would be over in moments. And in moments, Chill proved the dragonborn right. After a sad sigh escaped his maw, Rhogar couldn't help but mutter, "Loyal... in his own way." Looking to a return Krom next, Rhogar opened his maw as if to say something, only to close it and simply nod in agreement.
He nonetheless meandered off/followed whoever else at that point wished to check up on Kazri and her bear situation, assuming her interrogation of the beast hadn't been just as swift as the felling of the Ogre, and she hadn't thus returned by then.

Kazri, with her sword sheathed, sits in front of the bear with legs crossed. She brings up her hands, making a peaceful gesture. "Listen, as stated earlier, I mean you no harm. It is your choice. We can talk, or I may have to put you down, so that you are not a threat to the town. I prefer the first choice." Before the bear is able to respond. Kazri looks to the frozen pond. "This looks like it used to be a temple to Silvanus. Do you happen to know anything about it?"

Chill grimaced as he cleaned his rapier before returning it to its sheath.
"Sorry Rhogar, I just don't think he was going to talk. Ogres aren't very bright, he probably did what the verbeeg told him to do because they fed him. The towns are safer now."
When Krom and the others return he nods in agreement.

They fed me, if gone I will not harm you. Let me go. This is just a cave
The bear responds in halting words. Clearly the bear knows nothing of what may have used to be in these caverns. To it is just another cave.
I will not harm people, never harmed people. The giants raided, I watch the cave.

"Very well. I trust your words are true." Kazri unbinds the bear. "You are free to go, as long as you promise to leave the townsfolk alone." When Kazri is done removing the bindings. "Well, would you consider having an arrangement with the townsfolk? They could feed you, and you could watch over the town." She pauses for a moment. "We would have to discuss this with the town first, of course."
