Rhogar nodded to Runa, but before leaving the presence of the Speaker(assuming he hadn't already parted ways on his own), the dragonbon gives the man one final respectful half-bow at the waist before parting ways. The eventual and unfortunately fortunate discovery of Huawar is one Rhogar can't take his eyes off for a good while after the fact. Instead he held a hand on his chest and gritted his teeth behind closed maw.
Gorrah tried to comfort him with calming thoughts and nuzzling along the side of his head, but eventually a warning growl from the dragonborn sees her stopping and hanging her head down low. "... of that I do not disagree Chill. No, I... I most certainly do not." He further affirms. With that said, he leaves Gorrah to keep an eye on the body while he stepped inside to speak again with the Speaker. Although if redirected to a steward to answer questions about funeral arrangements versus the preserving and delivering of the dead, he'd see to that next trusting the freed cultist to 'cause no further harm. Not with at least two of his compatriots seeing to their departure.

Krom stands silently next Huawar looking at the boy for a couple of long minutes "I could attempt a ritual to call back his soul..." says in a the dwarf in low tone of voice "If Levistus has not claimed him yet and he is willing to return, the ritual could work..." "It requires expensive materials that I do not have, but maybe the Speaker does..."
The remaining cultists are freed of their bonds and head out the gate of the castle. They cause no trouble and wait outside for when Runa us finished. After Runa is finished finding Huawar she also heads for the gate. She stops for a moment when Kazri approaches. Taking the greatsword back from her she nods in respect. "We will see what the future holds." She says as she turns away to join the others.
Chill watches from the walls as the small group makes its way into town but they are soon lost in the faded light that is the curse of Auril's Everlasting Rime.
As Krom stares down at the body of Huawar he notices that it looks like the body is beginning to freeze. This catches his attention and upon looking closer he realizes that yes, the body is starting to freeze. Looking at the other dead cultists he sees the same. The bodies are certainly freezing, and unnaturally so.
Rhogar speaks to the speaker about funeral arrangements versus the preserving and delivering of the dead. "With this cold we cannot bury our dead, we have resorted to burning their bodies, the ground is too frozen to bury them."
Rhogar nods, and then after a looking away thoughtfully for a moment, he asks, "I am sorry to trouble you and yours then, but... if I were to point out one to be burned separately so that the... the ashes can be collected, that would be appreciated. I... we still need to look him over again. See if, uhm... see if he has any personal affects to identify him by. As his mother, you see, uhm... she made a request of us and... while we can't quite fulfill it anymore, we owe it to her to see to his return to her all the same." He says to the Speaker.

Krom shakes his head as he notices the unnatural phenomenon on the cultists "It seems that the archdevil has taken all the necessary precautions to collect their souls..." After Rhogar's request, the dwarf also addresses the Speaker "While we were exploring the keep, we encountered an eldery dwarf woman recently dead, was she a member of your staff? She was not a cultist, or at least we did not find any proof that she may have been one in life."
Kazri brings Huawar's frozen body to the courtyard. Since she is wearing the Boots of the Winterlands, she does not feel the sting of the cold from the body. She respectfully leaves in the courtyard. She informs Krom and Rhogar if they would like to do anything with the body before it is cremated.

"Rhogar, if you allow me, I'llhelpyou searching the body for any personal effects to bring back to his mother." asks to the dragonborn.
The speaker answered Krom's question with a sour look on his face.
"This one I do know. Her name was Hethyl and she was a heartless creature. Not cruel out of spite, just blunt in a mean, uncaring way. She didn’t hide the truth or mince words, as if she knew her soul was going to the Nine Hells when she died. She was certainly one of them. Her death will weaken them for sure."
He then continued,
"As for your group, you are welcome to stay here as long as you need. Our hospitality is yours. This would give a base of operations if you need one."
You find nothing personal on the body of Huarwar. Even in time when you search the personal items of the cultists that were left behind you find nothing that connected him back home. None of the cultists seem to have kept anything personal.
"I'll attempt to speak with her spirit tomorrow. If she was indeed a cultist, she may have information useful for our quest." replies Krom. "Thank you for your hospitality, I do not think that we will stay too long as we have a runaway wizard to catch and a lost city to find, but I truly appreciate your kindness."
"It looks like that we will have only sad words to bring back to Huarwar's mother." says Krom as the group does not find any personal items on the corpse of the young cultist. "From the lack of personal belongings, it seems that they all wanted to cut ties with their past."
"It has been a long day and there are many things to be seen to. Do we leave today yet or rest and head out tomorrow? We have a general idea we have to go, out to the Reghed Glacier to find this lost city and hope to end this cursed darkness and the hold Auril has here. The focus of out mission becomes sharp."
Chill says after some time.
"I am still weary from our rush here. A nights rest would do me wonders. And as good a tracker I am, I cannot track a woman who flies. I would say we lose noting by resting."
"Agreed Chill. A good night's rest will do us more good. I will go check on the sled dogs before retiring." Kazri goes to town with Oli to make sure that the dogs are taken care of.

Krom shakes his head at the dragonborn's question "I will be able to speak with the dead only tomorrow morning. By that time, I'm afraid, Huarwar's body is going to be completely encased in ice and unable to answer our questions." "We still do have some hours left before nightfall, I'll spend them trying to repair and mend as much as possible the damage caused by the dragon and the cultists."
The simplest lodgings would be at the castle. They would be sparse but adequate for a night's rest with food provided and no costs. Or you could head for the inn to see if they have rooms.
Either way, if Krom checks on Hethyl's body he finds that it is also freezing solid. This confirms she was a cultists.
Krom can use his spells to fix the main doors and other minor damage around the castle and end up leaving it in better shape than when the group arrived.
The dead are taken care of over night and the ashes of Huarwar are collected by Rhogar.
Kadroth is hung from the main wall as a warning to others.
As the evening progresses more people arrive to the castle to bolster the defenses. These people also bring word that the remaining cultists left town without issue. A few others had joined them as there were there cultists still in town.
You can long rest and do anything else planned for the evening.
"That settles it then," says Krom with a frustrated tone of voice as Hethyl's body is covered in solid ice, "She was indeed a cultist. It will not be possible to learn anything from her now." "But I have learned something today, "continues the dwarf in a more cheerful tone "Always prepare the hymn for speaking with the dead as you never know when it could be useful."
"I doubt that it will be the last time we hear of those cultists, Levistus still has plans for Icewind Dale. Our Fellowship probably made a powerful enemy today!" says the dwarf when the group, after a day of work, finally regroups for the evening meal. "But he will regret it!" he adds with a laugh before gulping down a pint of ale.
Kazri will check on the sled dogs, to make sure they have an adequate place to stay for the night, then she will go back and find the group and find out where they would like to rest for the night. For her anything works.

"Typical."He mutters, before with a shake of his head departing long enough to check up on his Axe Beak, making sure all was well prior to finding his own rest.
