(Is Kazri able to tell from which direction did the voices faded away to?)
Kazri informs the group of the Undead presence in the previous cavern, but she is more concentrated on the voices. "I heard whispers... I could not tell what was said, but I believe they may have been talking about me. I was, however, not able to see nor sense the source." She motions for everyone to quiet down for a moment. She closes her eyes and tries to hear the whispers again.

There is a hiss from up the passage as Krom shouts his command and Chill can hear the scrapping of claws on ice and can tell the creature that followed them recedes deeper into the cavern. Chill then throws the fuzzy ball into the fog and a moment later a scream from a large cat echoes in the fog. The sounds of a fight can be heard, as if between two large animals, but a moment later it is quiet again.
Kazri: (Is Kazri able to tell from which direction did the voices faded away to?) No you cannot and you do not hear anything more
Gorrah reluctantly heads up the passage found. It is now seen to be a formed staircase. Aside from the tower embedded in the west wall and the rubble around it, this 30-foot-high cavern is empty. Two other passages run north and east. (H7)
The following features are common throughout the Caves of Hunger:
Ceilings. Most cavern ceilings are 30 feet high and made of smooth ice. Tunnel ceilings range from 10 to 15 feet high unless otherwise noted.
Darkness. All areas are cast in complete darkness unless otherwise noted.
Echoes. Sound travels quickly here. All Wisdom (Perception) checks to hear sounds in these caves have advantage.
"Appears we got more tunnels to the north. One branching eastward, and the other on northward."Rhogar conveys to the others once Kazri had her moment and seemed no less self-assured of the source of her voice than before. "But not much of note aside from that so far -- well, erm, beside the back half of the tower we passed, that is. Not that one, but uhm... Y-you get what I mean." He finishes on a slightly flustered note.
"As for Lady Kazri's voices, as far as I can tell from the general vicinity, it was no illusion magic. None that I could perceive, in any event. Do alert us if it happens again, so we can at least possible confirm if distance plays a factor in it." A look of apology is all the dragonborn could give to Kazri in the moment, before then turning his attention to the others. "But in any event, we shouldn't linger here for much longer. You said something about keeping 'it' busy, yes, Chill? If so, switch with me on guard, and see to the chest inside the tower there. Once you've acquired it's contents or confirmed it being little more than debris, I say we move on northward tunnel. Could be we run afoul of another ambush, but I suspect that will be the running theme of this place until we find the city. And thus, we must do what we can to persevere."
"Whispers that only you could hear? Ghosts or some other spectral entities may also dwell in those caverns." replies Krom at Kazri.
"Anyway, as Chill's distraction and my hymn may have granted us a few more moments of respite, we should press on." The dwarf, for a moment, turns his head towards the southern passage before nodding to Rhogar. "Northward tunnel then."
Krom murmuring an hymn of guidance touches Chill's shoulder. "Your senses probably do not need a boost, but as we do not know what we will face, this should help you for a while." A warm sensation fills Chill as Krom finishes his hymn.
Chill nods to Rhogar and with another grin on his face he heads into the tower to look around. Spying the chest he takes a good look at it for traps and then tries to open it.
"Northwards sounds good to me Mr. Nimbatuul." Says Kazri as she nods for Oli to stay closer not to Uncle Rhogar. "I am not sure Master Krom. It could have been spirits... Not that i believe in those things, mind you. Maybe whatever it was, it may have been calling me. We should move on, for I no longer hear them."

Chill takes a look at the chest. He's certain it's not trapped. However the sliding bolt latch is held fast by frost. But he can quickly chip the ice away with a dagger and open the chest.
Inside are several bottles. Most of the bottles inside the chest are smashed, likely in the fall, but two potions of healing (superior) survived.
Chill can pocket them and then divy up a needed. As a group you move through the cavern Gorrah scouted and the passing by the eastern passage you continue north.
A flat, slightly canted slab of stone rests in the center of this twenty-foot-high cave. One side is rough, as if the slab had been torn from a larger structure. The slab is eight feet long, four feet wide, four feet high, and covered with frost.
Rhogar camn sense an aura of divination magic around the slab.
"Good find Rhogar, Chill. Considering what we will be facing, additional sources of healing are indeed a welcomed boon." says Krom as Chill retrives the potions from the chest.
As the group enters the other cavern and notices the stone slab, the dwarf points at it with his warhammer "What do you make of that? It's a bit too obvious for being a trap, still it's a bit suspicious." Krom, paying attention to remain at least 20ft from it, takes a few steps towards it to have a better look.
"Back in Chult when I spent my time borrowing goods from the old ruins of ancient cultures these sort of things were always important. No one cuts a big slab of stone for no reason. There is always some sort of writing or hieroglyphics on them. I'm sure if we remove this frost we'll find something like that here." Chill says as he looks over the large slab.
"But I'll watch our backs unless you need my specific skills. In my experience those more in tune to, what did you call it? Oh yeah, the weave. Your more likely to unfastened understand it."
Chill positions himself at the end of corridor leading into this cavern where it meets the previous cave.
He turns his attention to watching for trouble.

He slips also slips his hood over his head and settles into the shadows.

"But depending on the more exacting purpose of this magic, it could grant us some insight on where to look next somehow." Rhogar admits as he, with Gorrah once again returned to his shoulder, stepped up closer to the frost covered slab as well.
"Vellyne. Let's see if we can find any sigils or 'gyphics' as Chill has put it on the slab. Much as trying to melt or crack the frost might help, I don't want to disturb it too much and accidently break something in the process." "In that case Rhogar, Vellyne allow me tohelpyou in your examinations." replies Krom trying to aid the dragonborn and the wizard as they examine the stone slab.
"Kazri, Chill if you see something approaching us in an hostile way, let us know."

Scraping off the frost on the slab reveals Draconic script etched into its top, with an open eye carved above it.
Rhogar can read the words.
“Take the free, self-guided tour of Ythryn. Press the eye to cast the spell.”
"Should we press the eye? Even if the city crashed and most of its buildings are now in ruins like that tower or dome that we passed, we could still gain useful information." says Krom as Rhogar finishes to read the script.
"It should not be a trap, but if we decide to press the eye, maybe we should not stay too close to each other. Just in case." adds the dwarf.
"I see no trap interwoven in the magic I sense, as usually such things are purview of the schools transmutation, abjuration, evocation, and sometimes even illusion and necromancy."Rhogar said confidently. "At worse I'd imagine any nefarious intent behind divination magics may at best trap the mind for a brief time with visions places beyond here. However, it would subside fairly quickly, and leave not but headache!" He declared, brightly grinning. "But! I hear you, Master Krom. And if the rest of you wish to step back a bit, I shall I indulge this curiosity, and see what it has to offer." With that, he waits for the others to comply before pressing the eye on the slab; his confidence never wavering in the face of seeing comrades retreat. Gorrah, however, stays nestled about his neck, ready to confer some of her inherit resilience to the dragonborn should the need call for it.
