"A name? No she did not give me a name. What is a name? And you wish to speak to me? I enjoy speaking though few seem to want to speak with me. You are still unhappy about me attacking the boats? " The creature answers Rhogar
When Krom mentions the mutton he gets a grin on his face. "Mutton? That is meat? I like meat!"
Rhogar isn't one to hide his feelings, so he admits frankly, "Less unhappy, and more... perhaps disappointed -- BUT, I understand where you are coming from. And as far as I'm aware, you haven't done any physical harm to the people riding those boats, so... it isn't all bad."He again smiles a little before continuing on. "As for a name, it is something we use to distinguish ourselves from one another, especially in larger groups. We do not quite the same... benefits as other beasts might to make the process simple. I, for one, am known as Rhogar Nimbatuul. But you may call me Rhogar... And perhaps if you have a name of your own, others may wish to speak with you a bit more." He suggests.

Krom smiles to the creature and gives it the mutton "Here, enjoy some meat", the dwarf's expression darkens a bit as he says "I share the same feelings of my friend Rhogar " Krom pauses a moment before adding "You have been given this boon of awakening, it seems to me that it's wasted if you use your new gained intelligence and wit to harass those poor fishermen. You could help them by herding the fishes, you could the protector of this lake. I bet that if you start helping the people of Bremen you will find out that many will gladly talk to you." The dwarf waits a few heartbeats before concluding "If you wish to talk to more people, you should have a name. I'm called Krom Firebeard."
Rhogar looks up and away, seeming to consider the question for a moment, before looking to the beast again. "... Generally speaking, it is the honor and privilege of one's sire -- one's mother or father -- or their guardian, as the case may be, to bestow a name. In your case, this duty... should have been fulfilled by the one to awakened you -- BUT... but, there are no rules against being named by another or naming yourself." He explained, tone and even slight mannerism shifting towards that of a playful or amused teacher.
"If you would permit me -- er, us-.."He makes a sweeping gesture to the group. "We can offer suggestions for a name. Something to go by until you've come with your own."He states, and after given some indication of a go ahead, he scratches his chin in thought for a moment or two before saying, "How about... hmm... a nice strong name like Gonzales Ingo or Blumin? Or Blumina, if you are, uh... of the female gender?"
Rekuberk watches quietly as he keeps his eyes trained on the creature, not speaking as he lets the others do the talking since they are better at such things. For the time being he keep his arms crossed and away from any weapons since the beast seems at least willing to talk for the time being.
(Well it is only a cantrip that you could mutter very quickly almost like a quick prayer to help yourself before you speak so I'll allow it. to speed it up I'll roll 1)
The plesiosaurus nods its head. "Hmm, hmm, Ingo? I think I like that name. Yes, you may call me Ingo." The creatures dives under the water for a moment and then splashes back out again. You sense its mood is better than before.
"Yatta! That is good to here, my scaly associate! No, Ingo now isn't it?" He chuckles mirthfully. Then deciding to seize the moment now that Ingo's mood had improved, he muddled through in draconic again magic of Vixix to help better his words. "Now that you have taken a new name, and your fate by extension into your own flippers... What say you Master Krom's earlier words? About becoming something of a guardian instead? Though it would take time as all good things do, you will not -- or so I imagine, feel as alone in this world with others out there to not only talk to, but even foster friendships with. Instead of this terrible and frankly self-abusive path that Druid had led you upon."
"A name does seem so much more noble does it not? I am no mere stupid creature who does as others order it to do or acts only in ways that are instinct. I will consider your words and suggestions. I will at minimum cease attacking the boats. Fair thee well. I will go ponder my future."
The plesiosaurus rolls onto its side and waves a flipper before diving under the water and does not reappear.
"Well done Rhogar! I'm glad that we could end this problem without bloodshed." says Krom after a few minutes "I'm sure that in due time, Ingo will become indeed the guardian of this lake." The dwarf looks at all his companions "I suggest that we return to Bremen to inform them that they can now fish in peace. We should also consider our next destination, but that kind of talk it's better done after drinking a few ales."
"Even so I think we should at least tell them to be careful around him for a time. We do not know what may invoke the wrath of the creature." Rekuberk says before smiling and nodding at the though of more drink.
Rhogar goes from breathing a sigh of relief to regarding the others with a toothless grin. And though Rekuberk suggested the urge caution to those back in town, neither relief or cheerfulness would be diminished in the Bronze. "Either way, it shall have to be enough. From here, I believe, we give both sides a chance to find equillibrium once more."Rhogar states, and Gorrah chirps in agreement from the shadows of the hood. "Now! Onwards back to town... 'less of course any of you are tempted to test the truth of our new friends words?"He adds, holding out his fishing rod and grinning more broadly.
Come what may though, he takes back the paddles in due time and set a course for town again.

Krom nods to Rhogar "Let's go back, there is no need to stay here out in the cold, as you said, now there is a chance to have balance once again in the lake." The dwarf too turns the boat towards town and starts rowing.
"Yes and let us hole that we do not have to return in more unfavorable circumstances." Rekuberk agrees, sitting back down and waiting for their time on the lake to be at an end for the time being.
"Well done indeed Mr. Nimbatuul." Says Kazri with a slight sigh of relief. She wasn't looking forward to resolve this "issue" with violence. "Perhaps, we could suggest to the townsfolks to offer muttons if Ingo is sighted, and if possible, to try to strike a conversation. For it seems that the creature likes to talk."
