Krom chuckles as Gorrah sends him the image of the steak "Ok, ok, we will get you a steak bigger than yourself Gorrah." As Rekuberk offers himself as Kazri's body guard, the dwarf says "Sounds like a good idea." The dwarf, sipping another ale, says to the rest of the group "So it seems like that we have a good plan of action. Chill tonight will do some recon on our target, tomorrow evening, our lass and her mute body guard with Gorrah will approach him while Chill stay close to them and me and Rhogar stay at safe distance ready to intervene." The dwarf, walks next to Kazri and placing an hand on her shoulder says "Even if I do not think that it will not be necessary, I know an hymn that will enhanceyour charm for a while. I will prepare it tonight and cast it on you tomorrow evening."
Kazri was going to object to Master Krom's suggestion to craft her a dagger, but then she figured that she would be in an (very) unfamiliar environment operating without her armor and only wearing civilian clothing. She was also going to object to Rekuberk's suggestion, and she went through the same reasoning.
"Then it is settled. I shall play as bait for this Sephek person. I thank you Mr. Onc for offering to accompany me, and I will try my best to play my part. I will probably need a lesson or two on how to act appropriately, though." She looks at her fellow warrior. After Krom's plan on magically helping her. "I also thank you, Master Krom. I could use all the help that I can get for this mission." She says with some apprehension, as her halo glows slightly brighter.
Addressing the party. "I would suggest that Mr. Onc and I only reveal ourselves when it is our turn to act. If anyone will visit them tomorrow morning, that is."

"Don't worry little one." Chill says as he reaches up and scratches Gorrah behind the ears, "They'll never see us. But I have something that will make you stronger."
Chill takes off the gauntlets he has been wearing and fits them onto Gorrah.
"In about an hour those will fit you better and will increase your strength. I've enjoyed that strength for a while but this ring suits me better and I can't wear it over those gloves."
After dinner Chill will go up to his room and concentrate on the ring for an hour, helping Gorrah do the same with the gauntlets.
He'll then head out to the Clam to see if he can find this man they seek, slipping the hood of his cloak over his head.
"You will do just fine lass! Do not worry!" replies a smiling Krom "Now if you all excuse me, I will retire in my room to start crafting the dagger and preparing my hymns for tomorrow."
The dwarf enters his room, takes out his smith's tools and chanting an hymn of creation starts to hammer and chisel the basic components for Kazri's dagger. After an hour, the weapon is completed. The dagger has a small, but sharp blade that ends with a slight curvature. Floral motives are etched on both sides of the blade. A dwarven rune of friendship is etched on the strapped sheath of the dagger.
Satisfied with his work, Krom walks to Kazri's room and after knocking a couple of times, he enters the room and give her the dagger saying "Take it lass, I hope that you will not have to use it for tomorrow. This time, I named it myself: Maiden's Kiss".
Being scritched about the base of the horns (as she lacked any visible ears) elicits some content purring out of Gorrah. When given the gauntlets after, Gorrah looks at Chill funnily, and hadn't seem to convinced by his claims. Yet much like the helmet, which she still wore at the moment, Gorrah took his advice and kind of tried to get comfortable with the ungainly gauntlets until the *Fwoop!* shrunk and molded to her forepaws! Fortunately, she spends so much time after marveling at the silver and gold new equipment that nothing gets broken about the inn from trying to test out the new equipment. Not before Chill comes to collect her for the mission, which she now more than happily followed, and even kept snuggled up to him.
While all of that is going on, Rhogar just quietly finishes his meal and says, "I'll be in my room and awake for a while. Perhaps even do a little reading by some fire. If anything happens with the team though, I will make sure to wake you all."He said, prior to retiring more or less for the evening.

As you settle down to continue making plans Marta remarks that she has a few odds and ends that need fixing but nothing major. Krom is easily able to mend a few small items here and there that leave her overall operation in better shape than before. She is very thankful for the aid and as it has now saved her some expense to have those items fixed or replaced she offers you rooms for the night at no charge.
Eventually Chill and Gorrah head for a room to rest for a little bit and acclimate themselves to their new equipment. Chill soon finds that the cold is now bearable and feels much better. Gorrah has to be restrained from punching everything with her new found strength and Chill notes a few things in the room that Krom can mend the next day.
Chill and Gorrah then head out into the darkness. With his cloak pulled over his head, and Gorrah snuggled warmly within, Chill has no problems finding the Blue Clam. Settling into a spot that he can watch the doors Chill is virtually invisible in the darkness. Patrons come and go but no one notices the tabaxi wrapped in his cloak watching from a distance. Knowing the wait could be a few hours Chill is surely pleased with the ring as the cold no longer bothers him.
Shortly after Chill sets up watch Sephak is easy to spot making his way to the Blue Clam. He has an olive complexion, dark hair pulled back in a ponytail, and no facial or body hair. He is dressed in a stylish vest with matching pants and boots, similar in style to those worn by mariners of the southern Sword Coast, but wears no armor or cold weather clothing and doesn’t appear to be armed. His most striking feature is his eyes, which are as blue as a frozen lake.

Chill, having attuned to the ring, felt better than he had in a long time. Even the relatively better weather of Phandalin was cooler than he liked as it was so far north on the Sword Coast.
After picking his spot to watch he's pleased to see his prey arrive. Now that the cold isn't bothering him he is prepared to watch for as long as needed. He'll wait for Sephek to leave and watch where he goes.
Kazri retires to her room, and decides to change into the dress Rhogar made for her. For some reason, she feels warm and pleased when wearing the outfit. She is a little uncomfortable with this mission, but it must be done, so she will fulfill her duties with the best of her abilities. She checks her looks in the small mirror in her room, then she gives a slight sigh. She notices for the first time in a long time that her hair is not exactly presentable. She never saw a need to have a comb, so she uses her hands to try to straighten it. Krom pays her a visit, and gives her the Maiden's Kiss. "This is beautiful work Master Krom, as always." She inspects the blade, then tucks it into her boots, and it seems to be very well hidden. "I thank you my friend, for your concern for my safety." The paladin hesitates for a moment, and notices the master dwarf's well kept beard, then she becomes a little more uncomfortable. "Humm... Master Krom... Would you happen to have a comb, or any item which I could use to take care of my hair? I honestly can't remember the last time I had to look presentable..."

Krom smiles at Kazri's request "Of course lass, I have a spare comb that I can give you." sensing the paladin's distress, the dwarf says "Do not worry Kazri, this mission is not so different from our usual battles: think of it like a recon mission into enemy territory, you dress in a way to hide your true colours and gather information before the enemy knows you are there. Do not forget, the whole Fellowship is behind you on this mission. We will support you at the best of our capabilities." Krom returns to his room, takes a spare comb and give it to Kazri.
Chill waits patiently outside the Blue Clam and eventually is rewarded for his efforts. A few hours later a now intoxicated Sephek stumbles out of the Blue Clam and makes his way down the street in the direction of the where Torg's wagons are parked. Chill rather easily slips in behind him and follows silent and unseen by the man.
But Sephek doesn't return to the caravan. Instead he makes his way into the woods and a few moments later he approaches a cabin. It appears to be in disrepair and likely abandoned. Glancing around he slips inside but Chill is well hidden and is unseen.
Rekuberk changes his looks bit as well as he puts a little more wear and tear on the travel clothes and heavy winter clothing. He does his best to look the part of a bodyguard that has traveled far, still leaving his greatsword.

Chill can't help but grin as he shadows Sephek through the streets and then into the woods. His silent steps and near invisibility is a rush the tabaxi loves. The magical cloak Krom has fashioned blends perfectly in the landscape. Sephek is the prey and he is the hunter.
As they approach the cabin he watches as the man enters. Patiently he wants for about a half hour to see if he leaves. If nothing else happens he creeps closer to peak in a window to see what he is doing. If he is just sleeping then he'll return to town and inform the others.
If nothing of interest stands out after, she grudgingly crawls the rest of the way out to do a quick aerial sweep of the area while trying to stay out of sight. All in an effort to she if she could spy anything unusual about it, before then returning to Chill's hood for much needed warmth and comfort. Naturally, if she spies anything of interest, Rhogar would be able to see, but Chill would have to sent a rough image and associated feelings with the sight.

Chill approaches a window and remains quiet enough to take a look. Inside the frosted window he can just make out the image of the man as he appears to be sleeping or resting on an old bed. As Chill watches Gorrah starts to crawl out of Chill's hood and take flight. But as she does so her one wing scrapes the side of the cabin making a loud enough noise that Chill can see than man inside roll over.

Sephek suddenly sits up, a blue dagger forming in his hand. He gets to his feet and looks around intently, obviously wary to danger, as he moves to the door.
As the man suddenly sits up and starts to get up Chill makes a break for it. Using all of his speed and feline agility he heads for the trees and away from the cabin as quick as he can. Chill is hoping the man does not give chase or that at minimum he has enough of a lead to get away. Gorrah has taken flight so she should be safe and alerting Rhogar.
It takes a few moments, but eventually Rhogar shook off the disorientation that always came with sharing senses. By the time the Bronze had at least gotten to his feet, and after some stumbling around initially, is soon knocking hurriedly on the other party member's doors, starting with Krom. "The Huntress wasn't wrong. Sephek is our man. Chill might've been made though, so we should act quickly." He states in a calm but serious tone after gathering them up first "we need to talk. All of us. It's Chill."
While the message is being relayed, an embarrassed Gorrah tries to make up for her mistake by being a distraction for Chill. This namely coming in the form of her altering course and taking up position just above the doorway. The moment Sephek so much as stepped out fully, she was ready to dive on him, stinging with her tail in hopes of knocking him out before he could act!
