As Rhogar knocks on his door, Krom grabs his war hammer and opens the door "Rhogar, what's happened?." The dwarf nods as the dragonborn explains the situation "So he is indeed our target. Chill and Gorrah have done a great job." As all the rest of the groups is together, Krom says "Now that we have found proof that he is our target, we will have to be extra careful tomorrow with our plan. If he has noticed Chill or Gorrah he may not take the bait or bring friends with him."
(@Wolfy: To clarify, though it was a bit out of order, Rhogar gathered everyone before fully explination the situation, so Kazri and Rekuberk would know what's going on)
"Oh, I believe's he's definitely noticed Gorrah. Don't know what she's thinking, but it seems she's engaged the cretin as soon as he left the cabin."Rhogar said, seeming both proud and conflicted, as he yet still shared his senses with the psuedodragon. "If I focus I... I think I can get her out of there. Though, I cannot say for sure the same would go for the items she's carrying at the moment. Items not permanently soul bound are a bit... tricky."He admits, yet readies to try temporarily dismissing Gorrah if Sephek comes too close to hurting her.

Kazri is roused from her meditation by Rhogar, and go meet the others. After hearing Rhogar's report. "If Ghorrah is in danger, perhaps I should engage... I mean, approach the target sooner than later." Her heart pinches slightly, for the paladin hasn't thought of the plan through yet. "I can go meet this person now, if needed."

Rekuberk nods as he stretches and clenches his hand several times. It seems he is hoping for a fight or at least a small part of him is. "Let us hope they have managed to not arouse suspicion."
Chill is able to immediately break away from the cabin and moves with quick speed to the trees. Gorrah sets herself up to wait for the man to exit the and try and sting him. However Sephek is wary as he exits the cabin. He opens the door to see what is outside and while he holds a dagger he has readied himself to dodge any incoming attacks. But his wariness is not enough because while Gorrah's attack is made at disadvantage it is still enough to catch him on the neck as she drives her stinger into him.

While the stinger strikes Sephek is unaffected by the poison.

Hearing the attack happen Chill realizes that Gorrah hasn't broken away like he thought she would. He then doubles back and hides in the darkness and fires at the man with his crossbow.
"Rhogar, I think that you should recall Gorrah in a way that it is not too suspicious. However I fear that if Sephek noticed someone spying on him, he may not take the bait as Kazri approaches him tomorrow." says Krom scratching his beard "Anyway, what is done it's done. I doubt that we will be able to reach Gorrah and Chill in time as the cabin in the woods is not near." The dwarf finishes to speak and places his hand on the war hammer as to show to the group that he is ready to go if they decide to do so.

Sephek takes a bolt to his right leg but when he tries to look in the direction it came from he can't see anything. He slices his dagger at the creature that has tried to sting him but standing in darkness the pesky creature is unseen.
Attack: 16 Damage: 5 + 5 cold
Blindly slashing at Gorrah he catches her across the belly and Gorrah falls to the ground unconcious
Rhogar is shaking his head. Though whether it is at the suggestions/comments from the group, or something seen elsewhere is hard to tell. Apart from a certain distant look in his eyes, no glimmer of magic reveals if/when he is actively sharing senses with Gorrah. Finally he winces, shakes his head, and then mutters presumably in Draconic while rubbing the side of his head. "I'm afraid its far too late to recall her. Sephek's dagger... got her good, and I suspect it won't be long before she fully demateralizes on her own. With time, I can summon her again, but best we double time it out."The dragonborn explains.
"Chill can yet still escape. But, regardless of whether he fears more trouble or not, I doubt that if/when Chill slip away, he won't at least finish what he started at the Cabin. Which would be a life lost on our heads." With that and a muttered," Blast it all", Rhogar made his way room to gather his things, then for the stables, intending to get a hold of his axe beak. Any thought of rushing ahead however is quickly squashed by the reminder that the rest might need direction, on top of time to maybe don their armor after getting suited up warlmly.

Chill watched as the man cut Gorrah down. Damn it! he thought to himself, he really liked that little bugger. Chill didn't understand the connection between Rhogar and Gorrah and wouldn't know he could be recalled. His concern was making sure Sephek didn't kill Gorrah if he hadn't already, perhaps save him, and avenging Gorrah if Sephek had killed him.
Lining up another shot he fires again at the man
Attack: 14 Damage: 23
Once again he tries to hide hoping he has given the man something else to focus on rather than Gorrah.
Chill knew he had made a solid hit on the man but had obviously not killed him as he went back into the cabin. He was certain the man had not taken Gorrah's body but it was no longer there. He waited outside, crossbow ready to fire, to see if the man reappeared. He would wait a few minutes and consider his options. The man was injured, pretty severely he thought. Should he finish him off himself? Gorrah was dead, his body gone. Should he report back to the others? Too bad he no longer had the sending stone, that would have made communication easy. This was supposed to have been a scouting mission only but things had gone wrong, really wrong. Chill decides that if Sephek doesn't come back out in a few more minutes he would head back to town and report to the others.
"In that case, we march my friends!" says Krom grabbing his war hammer and his shield "Lass, we do not have time to don our armours. Let's go!" The dwarf turns towards Rhogar and says "Lead the way Rhogar."
(OOC Since it takes 10 minutes to don a plate mail, I assume that we do not have time to wait. Krom's AC with only his shield is 14).
(OOC: Kazri is wearing the dress, in case the party, somehow, decides to spring the trap earlier on Stephen.)
Kazri follows Master Akron, just wearing her dress and boots.

Chill works his way through the forest towards town while the rest of the party works its way the other way, through town and into the forest towards Chill. Chill knows the way back and Rhogar, having known where Chill and Gorrah were, is able to make his way in the right direction. A short time later they meet a short way into the forest. Chill can fill the party in on what happened at the cabin.
Once the group eventually (perhaps) start to get close to the cabin, Rhogar slows, if but to cast a couple of spells meant for the added protection of Kazri and Krom. By tapping them each on the shoulder and uttering some ancient word of power in draconic, both (if they allowed it) see their skin ripple and transmute briefly into scales before returning to normal by all appearances. "There. It isn't much. But maybe it'll be enough."He adds prior to again picking up the pace.

As Chill meets the others he looks sadly at Rhogar. "I'm sorry friend. Gorrah is dead. We made some noise and Sephek was on to us. I made it to the tree line but Gorrah stayed at the cabin and tried to attack Sephek. He... he killed her.." Chill drops his head clearly sorrowful. "I fired a couple shots at him, some solid hits too but he didn't go down. He went back in the cabin and didn't come back out. I wanted to report back but you must at least know some of what happened to be headed out here already. I doubt we can sneak up on him, he'll be ready for anything now I think if he hadn't left the cabin while I was gone."
Still looking sad he continues. "Strange thing though, Gorrah's body is gone, like it vanished. I saw her fall and Sephek didn't take her body inside, but her body is gone. Is that normal for a pseudodragon?"
