Rekuburk closes the distance between himself and wolf2 and with 2 savage swings of his sword hacks the wolf down. With one remaining wolf Chill fires at it and gets a solid strike.
Krom swings his hammer down and a solid thunk is heard as he connects.
Kazri and Rhogar are up.
Order - Rekuburk, Chill, Krom, Kazri, Rhogar, Wolf1 (35)
Kazri engages the remaining wolf, and asks Helm's aid to subdue the beast. (If successful) Kazri gestures for the beast to stand down.
Channel Divinity: Nature's Wrath - You can use your Channel Divinity to invoke primeval forces to ensnare a foe. As an action, you can cause spectral vines to spring up and reach for a creature within 10 feet of you that you can see. The creature must succeed on a Strength or Dexterity saving throw (its choice, DC 14) or be restrained. While restrained by the vines, the creature repeats the saving throw at the end of each of its turns. On a success, it frees itself and the vines vanish.

Rhogar looked about ready to call more divine fire down upon the beast. But, seeing Kazri work her magic's instead to restrain the creature, the Bronze is given pause in thought for a moment, before it all clicks into place. So it is with a groan of frustration that the Dragonborn soon found himself huffing and puffing while trying to rush into the thick of things, only to hopefully get to the beast's flank to pin it.

Spectral Vines spring out of the snow and snake around the legs of the wolf holding it position. The wolf tries to break free but is unable. "Let me go!" The wolf suddenly snarls in common "You have defeated us. Let me live and lick my wounds. I will depart and bother you no more." he stands wary but makes no move to attack again.
As he finishes saying this he struggles again against the vines.

The wolf is able to break free of the binding vines. He crouches low to the ground looking ready to Dodge any further attacks.
Kazri sheathes her sword, demonstrating no ill will towards the wolf. She crouches down to one knee. "We did not want to fight the white moose, but he gave us no choice. Have you also been awakened by the druid Ravisin?" Kazri asks the wolf. She signals Oli to come closer, so she can keep tabs on the owlbear.
Kazri puts one hand towards the wolf. "Do I have your permission to mend your wounds?" If the wolf allows Kazri to touch him, she will heal him to full health (35HP).

With that said, we would like to hear your story. How are you able to speak with us without the aid of magic? Do you know anything about this eternal winter?" Inquiries Kazri, remaining crouched on one knee.

"My name is..." and the wolf gives a number of growls and grunts "It has no meaning in your speech. We live in the woods and Ravasin promised us food and watches over us though we have always been able to do that ourselves. The winter is long but the cold does not bother us. Food is getting more scarce though. We will survive though. We have our own speech and can also speak with giants and other folk if need be though we usually live just with our packs."
You can see that he has relaxed though is still wary.
Seeing that the wolf has, at least for the moment, no further hostile intentions, Krom hangs the war hammer on his belt hook and asks "Where is Ravasin now? What was her plan for Lonelywood?"
"She is within." The wolf says looking back at the shrine. "She has no plans for Lonelywood that I know of but she wants the loggers out of the woods and will not stop till they are gone."
"Do you or your people... I mean wolves, have any allegiance with this Ravisin? We are not necessary her enemies, but we do would like to know if she has anything to do with this unnatural winter. Our mission is to see if we are able to help to put an end to this weather that is affecting the entire region of Icewind Dale." Says Kazri as she raises back up.

Krom then touches Moradin's Holy Symbol murmuring a prayer. The Symbol flashes with fire for a brief moment as the dwarf finishes his prayer.

Chill watches from his hiding place ready to fire at the wolf should it attack any of his friends. But it looks like Kazri is talking to it so he holds off for the moment and waits to see what happens.
Kazri remembers now their conversation with the Plesiosaurs called Ingo. “My apologies. I had forgotten that fact.” She says to the wolf, and nods to Master Krom to acknowledge her lapse. “My companion is right. We did encounter an awakened creature in Bremen, and we were able to aid "him" and the town to come to an agreeable understanding. Ravisin, however, is a person of interest that we are looking regarding this winter. My question is, do you protect this Druid?” The paladin asks the question with a calm demeanor.

"My pack has helped protect her, but you have killed most of them. I do not wish to see the whole pack lost. All winter creatures worship Auril but we, the Winter Wolves, are not her slaves. But there are other packs, other wolves who serve her servants. Ravisin is angry at the town's and her protection of the woods feeds that. That is all I know. May I leave? I will take what remains of my pack and we will not interfere with you." The wolf replies, beginning to look edgy and ready to move on.
"So long as your pack does not make a habit of continuing her work--"Rhogar finally speaks up for once, having been lost in thought contemplating what he knew if anything of winter wolves. "I can... I will be blunt in saying that we probably shouldn't, least the scarcity of food drive your pack towards grim ends. Be it at the cost of the pack, or other the lives of the common folk of ten towns." Rhogar admits, but then holds up a hand in a halting gesture.
"But, there's been enough conflict between yours and ours this day, I believe. And with companions collective consent, you shall be freed... But know this and consider, if you would. These lands aren't the lands of the gods. It does not readily replenish itself as the realms beyond it. Food will only become more scarcer the longer Auril, the Frost Maiden, insists upon blanketing these lands in winter. When that happens, even those giants and others you might call... friend? Allies? Even they may turn against you for their own survival."
"So, for ALL winter wolves and wolf kin's sake, it may interest you to speak with them when safe enough, and have reconsider their alliance to the frost maiden, even if only temporarily so. This, I would strongly suggest. But, your fate is your own. And may never cross as foes again, as mercy may not be spared a second time."He warns.
